Anyway, to those in Asia and has the anime channel called Animax. TRC will be aired next month.

Notes

- The title has been translated in english, hence the name Chronicles of the Wings instead of TRC

- Season 1 (Not sure yet if they're going to get Season 2 after it finishes airing in Japan)

- It starts on April 6, at 7:00 PM

- Dubbed English

Speculations

- I have a a feeling they'll use the "Sakura cute voice" there

Do you think there are any chances somebody would upload the dub of this to air?  I'd kind of like to see this out of curiosty but the only way I could is through downloading.  I take it this is going to be a different dub than the one Funi is going to use for the U.S.?

Yes! Cherry Blossoms just told me about it and I've seen the commercial several times just a while ago. This news actually shocked me! I never imagined Animax getting this. I thought the title's a bit weird though. I wish they had just kept the original. oh well, the dub will be horrible. I'm 97% sure about it. They can't possibly use their dubber of Sakura Kinomoto though. That would sound too.. cheerful (and annoying).
Anyway, are we actually sure this will get dubbed? I've seen some animes in Animax aired un-dubbed. There's also a chance we'll get this in my own language.  LOL

They haven't yet put up more info about the show's airing, unfortunately.

@Cardcaptor Takato: Yes, id it would be dubbed in English this would be Animax's own dub and that's not actually a bad idea. I could try to get hold of a TV tuner and record the show to upload here later. If the dub's really, really bad though I might not consider doing it anymore. Sweatdrop

I thought this was going to air in Singapore, and that site confirms it. I wonder how Singapore's dub will be compared the US? They have an English version of One Piece over there, and I heard it was better than the US version.

Animax dubs are known to be horrible. At least that's what we, viewers at the Philippines, think about it. I mean, they're really annoying and irritating to hear. I'm not getting my hopes up on this one. I'm just happy someone already picked up and it will finally get shown on our TV.
oh yeah, I'm sure it will be dubbed now because otherwise, why would they change the title in the first place? So I'm just sitting here.. waiting for Animax to ruin Tsubasa.

mmmm I think I can't tell nothing about Animax Asia (but if yu say that the dubs are terrible i believe you... Animax La is the same -_-' except.. a few ones)

but.. It's strange that in the web site there are only images of Koryo... what about hanshin o_o I wonder why they don't show images of the first chapter.....

Mokona's voice will be the same with Kero Keero
Syaoran's voice will most likely be yusuke's voice
Sakura's voice will be that frequently used extra squeaky voice they use for lead females

no....this can't be happening.  I could barely handle the news of funamation taking Tsubasa Chronicle and liscening it but dear gawd no, I am scared to hear the english voice actors of this.

Anyway, somehow  I really do want to know what they sound like. ( eye twitch) don't screw it up animax..

*sarcastic laugh* They'll screw it up alright. That's why I recommended to others to just burn the fansubs into CD's or something. Less commercials, and you get to hear Miyu Irino's handsome voice all the time.

ahaha! that dub was the most horrible I've seen yet from Animax. Anyway, Tsubaa couldn't possibly be dubbed in Tagalog. We should have by now heard news about any Filipino dubbers doing this if that was the case.

I wish it was dubbed by ABS-CBN. They pick EXCELLENT Voice actors. When I watched Initial D I was like sweatdropping all over the place especially when Angel Locsin spoke. -_-

I don't mind Angel Locsin's voice. (She's hawt! Tongue ) What I do mind is that annoying guy named Matteo (sp?) who dubbed Takumi! He's horrible!

Anyway, no more chance of anyone else getting this since it's already taken by Animax. We just have to hope for the not-so-bad, if that's even remotely possible with Animax dubs. <_<

Well, I know they won't dub Steamboy (They picked the original US dub for that).

I'll keep updating this topic once TRC is now on Animax so I can give a blow by blow account on the voices and script changes.
