Syaokura:
It's probably a nickmake of some sorts.
Anyways, can anyone help me translate a few words from English to Japanese?
- despair
- sad
- hopeless
- longing
^^; Thanks!
Ruby Chan:
Bother! I knew despair once....
But these are some other words that are kinda simialr...not sure if they're right though....
Makusu - defeat
Utaga - doubt
Uragir - betrayal
I hacked these out of some custom-made digimon names I found on the net, so they may eiether be incomplete, or have an extra vowel added to the edn...sorry
Nyoko:
Despair- zetsubou, jiboujiki, jiki, shitsui, shitsubou
Sad- ui, hisou, kanashii, kanashii, shinmiri, urei
Hopeless- shiyounonai, akan, dame, kokorobosoi, kainashi
Longing- bojou, shoukei, akogare, katsubou
These are from a dictionary search, I know it doesn't help much.... -^^-

That's quite weird, because the japanese pronounce Touya like Toya anyway....so why does Yuki actually accentuate the hyphon? Is it just bcause its a nickname, or is there any background info from the jap lang?

sometimes in writing instead of writing the 'u' which actually prolongs the vowel before it like Touya pronounced equals Tooya, people just write the '-' which means the same thing.. :) hope that made sense..
