New book to add:

The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde

About time traveling and entering the world of books and has a good plot with lots of wit. I'm no literary critic, but you should go read it. ^^;

Ruby-chan and star, I love all the books that you listed!

I also love memoirs of a geisha, all jodi picoult books, anne mccaffrey books. I also just read Atlantis by david gibbins i enjoyed it but found it quite hard going.

At the moment I am reading Cloud Atlas - it's really confusing but I am enjoying it. It's about 6 interlocking lives set over time, in the past and in the future. See what I mean about confusing! Has anyone else read this?

I read Harry Potter...I don't usually read series...and I've been listening more to books on tape as my eyes were out faster and faster.

I like the classics, like, Of Mice and Men (John Steinback), Animal Farn (George Orwell), Les Miserabe was too wordy, but decent (Victor Hugo), All Quiet on the Western Front (Erich Maria Remarque), The Stranger (Albert Camus) there are more...

The Rapture of Canaan (can't remember) is one of my favorite books!
Angela's Ashes (Frank McCourt) is also really good.

I'm working on 1984 (George Orwell) right now.
I love everyone!!!

I'm working on 1984 (George Orwell) right now.
Have fun with that!

Right now I'm working on A Tale of Two Cities, and I'll also have to read the Odessy by Homer and 2 other books before school starts.

As far as I'm concerned, Phillip Pullman and Terry Pratchett should be compulsory reading in schools.

His Dark Materials trilogy, by Pullman and the Discworld series by Pratchett are the best series ever.

Good Omens, by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman should also be read by everyone at least once!

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer is a good book, for those who are very vampire obssessed. And also New Moon, the sequel.

Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen is my fav novel at the moment.
I wonder what kind of fate awaits me?
I don't want to regret being born
There is courage inside my sadness
I believe I can grasp that radiance
The tears of the blue sky are pouring down
One day they'll change into smiles

I LOVE Christopher Paolini's Eragon...
I love it too! :hello2:it's a very nice story about dragonriders.Don't want to wait until december to watch the movie...
For my part I recommend you to read Eragon and Roverrandom(from J.R.R.Tolkien) :tongue3:
