something i just thought of......there have been loads of small topics in which people requested downloads for Anime's or Manga's the past months
*some of those were my doing

*...so why not make a general thread for it?!

so here it is! the anime/manga download request thread

if you have an anime or manga you wanna watch/read, and can't find the downloads or scanlations or whatever on the internet request it here and i'm sure somebody can help you out

I'm trying to find Digimon Adventure Season 1 episodes in Japanese with subtitles. Can't speak Japanese well enough to understandÂ

I'm currenly downloading from site. If somebody could tell me of any other sites I would be very grateful. I'll give 2 cookies to whoever tells me! I'll take either bittorrent or direct download. I'd prefer direct download though, but if all you can find is bittorrent then I'll take it.

Mm, I've used that before, but there's no subtitles. I did an 8 hour download and it didn't have subtitles. Thanks for trying though.

Hmm. Naruto-kun has full episodes for direct download, ranging from 145 to 170 mb in AVI format: http://www.naruto-kun.com/full+episodes.html. Oh, and you need to sign up, but it's free. ^^ I hope this helps.

The X anime can be downloaded directly here: http://fadingmemories.hostanime.com/ They are not the highest quality translations, thought.

The Magic Knight Rayearth manga can be directly downloaded here: http://2hnh.info/hnh/ You have to register, though.

i just checked them....doesn't matter that they are not the highest quality translations, they're Avi. files and that's good since most X downloads i got in the past where mkv files and i couldn't watch them even with the VLC player (i now have the core media player but if he can run i don't know) so these are great ......your 2 cookies are coming right up!

oh and if i forget to give the cookies remind me to do so....i have a lousy memory

As a warning, if those are the same ogm files that I have and I've seen other places, that's the dub version of the movie.

I might be checking out that place Jeannette linked for the X TV, though. Um.. but not tonight. *dies*

Why, thank you. ^__^ I had that problem too, actually. It took me forever to find .avi files. The most common fansub of X is .mkv, and for some reason, no matter what codec I downloaded they didn't want to play in Windows Media Player. I downloaded the VCL player, but I hated it so much. It was so frustrating. But I actually got really mad at the fansub. ^__^; They translated 'Sakurazukamori' as 'Cherry Blossom Star.' 'Sakurazukamori' actually means 'Guardian of the Cherry Blossom Barrow,' or 'Guardian of the Cherry Blossom Burial Mound.' (Barrow sounds cooler.)

I hate the X movie. Seriously. Dubbed or subbed. It's one of the few things with the CLAMP name on it that I can't stand.

Oh, and does anybody know where I can find scans of CLAMP Campus Detectives, 20 Mensou Onegai, and/or CLAMP School Defenders Duklyon? I have text translations, but I want scans. Oh, and Shirahime-Syo too.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find X manga scans? I'm looking for the ones between vol. 1 and vol. 14 or so... not BT please, can't use it..... I'll give 2 cookies as soon as I reach the post that allows me to give them out (i'm almost there!)

I know a couple livejournal communities that have scanlations of X, but you have to join the communities to download, and to join the communities you have to have a livejournal account.
