Topic: What do you say to people who hate the S+S relationship? (Read 32445 times)

Ok, so this is just a question, but recently, on a CCS forum, a debate has occured when people began to say that CLAMP were wrong to end CardcaptorÂ Sakura with them as a couple.Â

They say that CLAMP simply put them together to make it easier for them! (which is so not true)
they say Syaoran is an unkind person who takes advantage of Sakura and Sakura does not really love Syaoran...

I was wondering, what do you say to people who -hate- Syaoran with a passion and who -hate- the s+s relationship with a passion?Â

I try my best to try to prove that Syaoran is not the 'big bad wolf' they make him out to be, and that their relationship is based on true love, but sometimes they don't see my view.Â

how do you deal with them?

Tell them they belong together and to say otherwise reflects on how they have dealt with their own relationships in the past.

Hmmm....That's a little tough. But HOW could people say that?! Syaoran and Sakura are the cutest couple in anime!

Though, I've never really came accross anyone who's ever said that. But then again, everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion so IÂ guess people could think what they like.

But what to say to them is a different matter. There are so many evidences in the anime and manga that S+S really love eachother and anyone who can't see that is just....well, not very smart.

And HOW could people hate Syaoran? He's NOT a 'Big Bad Wolf.' Yeah, maybe in the beginning hes a little mean but hes SO nice in the end!

I guess you could just tell them that S+S really do love eachother becuase there are SO many evidences in the anime/manga. And then if they don't just say everyone had their own opinion and walk away.

Blah. Sorry if that wasn't very good advice....

No idea. I haven't met any that hate their relationship and how in their right mind would hate Syaoran?! o__O; He may have been a little mean in the start, but it's not like he stays that way forever.

But if I ever did, I probably wouldn't handle it too well and get all up in their face about it. T_T;

I never met anyone who disapproved of Syaoran and Sakura YET but as noted, everyone has their own opinions which makes it more intriguing. ^^;; But there IS evidence in the manga/anime that Syaoran likes Sakura. Although Sakura seemed to have been surprised by the sudden confession. o.O"

And I also agree that they're one of the cutest couples in anime ^.~

As for who would hate Syaoran, I have no say in it. xD

S+S love each other. Don't hate them just because your past relationships didn't work out. Screw you! What did S+S ever do to you? They so obviously deeply love each other. Just be happy for them and let them be you... you jealous person!

That is so not true! If it wasn't, CLAMP wouldn't continue their relationship in Tsubasa! As for people who hate Sakura and Syaoran's relationship, I have come across them on the Sakura Hybrid website. Their moderator, The Pie, started a post asking what was your favorite couple in CCS. He said that he liked Sakura & Tomoyo, and then asked what everyone else asked.

At least 95% of the members said Sakura & Syaoran were the best couple and he wrote a rant about what a jerk Syaoran was and that he'd ruin Sakura's innocence! He insinuated that Syaoran would take advantage of her! I didn't really say anything to him, but in a moment of indignancy, I made sure that my avatar was of Sakura & Syaoran.

Also, my sister hates one of my Sakura & Syaoran music videos(I didn't make it, I downloaded it) because there is a scene from episode 57: Sakura, Syaoran, and the Elevator, when Syaoran was at the fountain and Sakura & Tomoyo came, and Syaoran hid behind the fountain and looked over the edge, she said that Syaoran was a spy and perverted. I hit her on the head and shut the music video off. After saying that about 5 times, she knows not to say that anymore. I don't know what I would do if anybody who wasn't family said that they hated Syaoran. At least my other sister likes that video, and even that episode!

What? Syaoran a pervent? Haha!! Sure.. he kinda was spying but it more of stealing at glance at Sakura and blushing for how cute she is. Aww..

As for that guy, what a werido. He shouldn't judge Syaoran so quickly. Sakura is still her sweet innocent self only stronger. Ughh.

I'm kidding. Everyone has their preferences. I personally love S&S and I believe people that don't, are crazy. But I won't bash them for thinking. I'll just say to myself, "Wow, their crazy."

The guy who said all this, doesn't really grasp the whole nature of CCS anyway

How he can not see that Syaoran is a devoted and kind person I will never understand...
