Yes, I love Syaoran-kun as well, from CCS. Frankly, i like him more than the TRC one, a little selfish part of me wished Syaoran from TRC had the same gruff personality of Syaoran in CCS. I really loved all the parts he showed his affection, because it meant so much, that a usually quiet, brooding boy would be so sweet. I can't help but love him XD Plus, he is so cute, and has the best fashion sense ever ^^

I totally agree with you, he is a child, with a hard life, who changed for a better, and if he can't see that, well, he might as well drop CCS all together, seeing as the proof is right there *sigh*
Syaoran-kun is a very amazing person, who probably has the most development in the entire show, and that's why he is well-liked.
That is why Syaoran cares about Yukito. He does not care about many people, but he does care about certain people.
Yes. Syaoran is serious. Sometimes, Syaoran creates an atmosphere of intensity. The beligerance is removed at the end, but the intensity is still there.
He was dignified that Syaoran was able to protect Sakura. His living style was to be the heir of the Li Clan, to be "strong" and "fit" to be the leader. And Sakura changed that? Since when does loving anyone change anyone? Syaoran is still his silent self.
Sakura worries about Syaoran? Sakura worries about everyone, and all of her friends.
And Sakura catches his expressions? What expressions? Scowling? Blushing? What else? I suppose she admires Syaoran's seriousness? Is that it?
Of course, Syaoran showed concern about Sakura. Syaoran cares about her. He told her to call him when she was in trouble because Syaoran wanted to protect her from danger.
He does not need to say much, because his actions are little. "Helping" as in handing a handkercheif and hugging? So is that what it will be in the future? Actually, Sakura used many words.
Anger: He has lots of it, doesn't he?
Worry/Care: For select people
Embrassment/affection: more like just embrassment, and nervous affection
Jealousy: And soon, it will turn to Touya, Yukito, Tomoyo, among others
Shock: It looks more like he is angry, with worry
Determination: For protection of Sakura
Happiness: Not much, eh? I really don't feel much from that. Half-smile, perhaps?

Actually, it was Syaoran who first tried to be her friend. Sakura just loves everyone like that. Sakura was always kind.
The fact is, he doesn't talk.

Sakura would never put on an act - that just isn’t like her. Innocence is part of her personality, what makes her who she is. Aside from that…she looks more surprise, scared even in any case. I’d be scared too if Syaoran’s angry face was so close to mine. (Or rather, I’d be blushing like crazy...) And if I remember correctly, she probably didn’t do anything wrong maybe only sharing a smile with Yukito and because of it, Syaoran got pissed giving her that " back off " expression. This is likely the situation, but I’d need to watch the episode again.
That picture was from episode 14: Sakura, Touya and Cinderella. Sakura was with Tomoyo and they entered a tent where Yukito was working. Sakura was talking to Yukito when she got the feeling that somebody was watching her. She turned around and Syaoran did a flip in the air and landed right in front of her face. She was very surprised at this and when Yukito brought over a cream soda for Syaoran. This stopped the fight to reveal Syaoran's 30 something bottles of soda.wow. O_O

Mmhm. I was watching an older episode yesterday, where Sakura and Kero get into a fight. Kero finds this package downstairs (a day or so after the fight..) and it's a box of chocolates shapped like alcohol bottles... but anyway, in the beinning Sakura is trying to capture a card ( The Storm ) but it's too much for her and Syaoran's there too attempting the same thing. He gets swept up in the storm and manages to capture the card. That's what started the fight between Sakura and Kero in the first place. I felt bad for Sakura, since Kero was so upset with her. He even called her a big monster! Aww.
Mmm. That really wasn't much about Syaoran, but when I was watching it I couldn't help but think how much he had changed from being bitter to opening up a little more as the series progressed.

I must admit..I think Syaoran is the most amazing boy anime character there is out of all the animes I've watched. Syaoran is a very interesting character and I'm sure everybody quite enjoyed watching him (he's simply so irresistable! <3)

In truth, I wasn't really a fan of Syaoran until the the last episode.
What really atrracted me was the fact that he was willing to confess his feelings and not expect anything back. I was thinking back then, "How many guys are willing to do that? What's more he's 10!" and so I was crushed that Sakura did not confess her feelings to him... Syaoran did so much for Sakura, and as I thought back about the many times he saved her and helped her I knew it was true.
And I instantly became a fan.
Of course, Sakura finally got to do that and I've been a happy S+S fan ever since, but Syaoran was very special. Not just because of his blushes, his jealousy and such (although they are cute) but because of his true love and his determination.

Part of the reason why I love Syaoran so much is because of the development he goes through in the series. He certainly has the most growth and for that I love him ^_^
one more episode that i like is sealing twins card that syaoran and mei lin combo karate that's was so cool ^_^
You know, it makes me wonder at what level Syaoran's magic stands. I know it's not as strong as Sakura's...and Eriol's, even after giving half his power to Fujitaka. Sakura's power, despite her only being 10, only grew faster because of the cards (That's why she needed to change the Light and Dark cards to raise it up completely), so maybe Syaoran is still underdeveloped. I mean, the kid is only 10, so he has room to expand, I think. I mean, Syaoran's powers are related to the moon, and in Tsubasa, Princess Tomoyo (a.k.a., Kurogane's Tomoyo) also is related to the moon, and she can send people through time and space and also communicate to others through dreams (Correct me if wrong).
I just want to see some opinions on this. Does CCS Syaoran have potential, or is what were shown enough?
I wonder... there's been a lot of talk and mystery when Syaoran left to Hong Kong and then came back. What exactly did he do there? Could he have developed his powers? Was there something he had to handle? Some people thought he had to handle his engagement with Meiling (although she never appeared in the manga) but who knows?

In the American version of the manga, Syaoran says "I've finally finished the paperwork to move here..."
So I suppose he spent three years doing paperwork. Ha. But really, he was probably training a little, at least. And even though CCS focused on Sakura, Syaoran's magic develops along with hers, just not at the rate of Sakura's. The entire plot line was about her magic becoming stronger.
Syaoran was originally stronger than her when he first came, physically and magically, at least, I think so. Sakura hadn't captured many cards, and he was using magic without cards at all. Even though I think Sakura had a much greater store of untapped magic, I bet Syaoran can surpass Eriol, at least, or get pretty darn close.
Well, we can't trust the American version for translation, can we? I agree that Syaoran did more than paperwork (Paperwork and he's ten). Syaoran can reach a great potential that we didn't see, because it was Sakura's manga after all, it makes you wonder how strong he is when he came back. But I always figured Syaoran to be a figher, more than magician. Oh, and, which Eriol? Splitting power up with Fujitaka Eriol, or had Clow Reed's full magic Eriol?
