Okamirei:
My father introduced me to manga actually^^, it was so long ago....maybe when I was 1 or 2?  :sweatdrop: He was a big anime fan too, hehe.

so...what about you guys?

monkey:
bought Dirty Pair Flash on Video when i was looking in a sci fi store (i've always been into space series etc)

Blaze:
well the first time i saw CCS i started to wach more anime and read more manga thx to sakura

Sakaki:
I've always had a passion for Japan, and grew up watching some of the dubbed *urgh* stuff on TV.

My daughter started watching anime and manga quite a while back, and got me into Cardcaptor Sakura and Sonic X. After that, I guess I just went manga/anime crazy.
Anime and Manga fulfills something in my soul I guess.
It's just something about the culture of Japan that speaks to me.

ani:
anime? I thought it was just cartoons at the start but then in the mornings they started to show Sailormoon on one of my favorite morning shows.. ^^ umm.. Agrro's Cartoon Connection..?? ^^ and after that after looking around on net I found out that it was an anime.. Of course.. after that I didn't reallyget to watch more because we were moving around so much .. but the first anime after coming back to australia that i watched was.. low and behold ... Cardcaptors! [yes the dubbed version -_-;;] It was pretty good but when i found out that the manga and the japanese version was bettef I started hating the dubbed version.. ^^ umm... ta da! :D
