Well, better late than never!Â

Design a banner image (500 x 100 pixels, JPEG) for the month of July. maximum filesize: 60 KB
See an example.

The theme for the month of July is...(you've been waiting for this!) Syaoran, so your banner should feature him.
The banner should have the name of the month in it. You can add quotes and other words that might relate to the theme which in this case is Syaoran.

Send to me the banner you made at this e-mail address: capturedwings at gmail dot com (spelled out to protect from spambots)
Subject of the email: July Calendar Banner Contest
Tell me your username in the forums so I'd know who the entry is from.
Deadline of submission is on July 8, Friday.

After that, I will make a topic where members can vote which banner they think should win. The names of the designers won't be posted to avoid bias. Voting will last for 2 days so make sure you come here on July 9 or 10 to vote for your pick.

The winner will receive 10 cookies as the grand prize. His/her banner will be used in the forum's calendar.
All other participants will receive 3 cookies as consolation prize. Cookies will be useful in the shop which will open this month!

I sure hope all our talented graphic designers here would join again.

well, I sent mine, my image programe crashed 3 times! ;__; but in the end I still got one! lol!
Its not wonderful, but I love entering these kind of things!

IMPORTANT CONTEST UPDATE:
Calling the attention of all who submitted banners for the contest.

I'm currently having problems with the email address at Syaoran.net. I may not have received your email and banner so I'm asking all contestants to resend your banner entries to this new email address:

I'm extending the deadline to July 8.

And to answer ani's question, only one (1) contest entry is allowed for each contestant. You can make more but I will only accept one so just pick out which you think's the best you've made then email to me just that ONE banner.

And to everyone who sent entries, I will reply to let you know that I got your banner. If you don't hear from me then most probably, I didn't get your banner. Unless I forgot to reply which is highly unlikely for someone like me.Â

Just to let you know (even though I wrote it in the email)
I sent a banner to your Sakura at Syaoran dot net addy but I didn't like it all that much, so I made a new one which I sent to the Gmail addy, (Its a good job you had problems with that account!) so please ignore the banner sent to your syaoran.net addy, Please use the other one on your Captured wings addy.

phew, hope that makes sense

also, I didn't write 'Tsubasa month' on it. must it be on it? if it is I could edit it before tomorrow..

I don't think Little Wolf is too strict with what's on the banner.
It would be Syaoran month though.

The theme is Syaoran so your banner should only just feature him. It's fine if the image you use also has Mokona but including someone like Sakura makes it already an S+S banner which I cannot accept for this month's contest.
