Cherry-chan:
My mom wants me to be really girly ("Kim, be in-style like your sisters!" who are really girly!) and always gets mad at me and causes a whole explosion at me in front of my entire family... like I refused to wear these two pink camisoles and tank tops and she's like, "Why NOT? Stop being like your cousin! You are exactly like her! I want you to wear nice clothing!" (my cousin, who I hang out a lot with, hates tight girly clothing and tight jeans). So I (scowling) take the clothes she gets me then buries them in my closet never to be seen again. But sometimes I feel bad about it (but not really bad when I find out the clothes were 2 for $5.

Another occasion was when I had to buy my graduation dress, and I insisted on a nice, black dress (it was REALLY nice. It was so versitaille even my sisters liked it ((or maybe because they knew my style). But my mom absoulutely HATED it and always frowned when I insisted on buying it. Her excuse was, "We'll see" but that really means "no, and we shall never talk about it again". Instead she bought me this pink dress with HUGE floral print. I said I liked it, knowing that she'd never let me buy the dress I wanted, and wanting to get through with it quick so we could go home. I looked at it at home for a while, and asked myself "What the hell did I say yes for!?" Eh, everything turned out okay. My mom occasionally gets tired of trying to make me girly and let me buy whatever the hell I want. :D
