Lol! I had my room painted a few years ago a very light shade of purple, maybe a lavender? Â I'm considering getting it painted a darker shade of purple.
Gah, those evil pictures...Frilly dresses and lace..>.> And that itchy fabric that some dresses have underneath, I forgot what the fabric is called, but uhggg *shudder*.
Shopping is okay with me, but most of the time I hate shopping because my mom takes so long looking at things. But when we're shopping for my clothes, we just get in and out. xD It is either I like it or I don't. But we always shop at the sales rack because it is alot cheaper than the normal prices. I will wear the occasional dress, but not those frilly dresses..Like the long slim dresses for fancy parties or things like that.
I hate it when my mom always looks back at my baby pictures and then goes, "Don't you regret wearing dresses now?" I just stare at the dresses in the pictures and ask myself, "Did I really wear that?!" :dodge:
Miss Jenni-Maie:
I don't get my mom sometimes.
I remember one time when we were shopping, I saw this skirt that I really liked and she said it was cute. So I got it but a few weeks later my mom looks at it and she's like, "Where the hell did you get that ****** skirt?"
I was like 0_0 ...."You bought it for me?"
She gives me a skeptical look and says, "I would never buy you something like that, unless I wanted to put you out onto the street."
0_0;;;
Argh, I remember when I was younger, since I'm her only daughter, my mom wanted me to be the "girly-girl" and she'd get me all those frilly early 80/90's dresses that I would rather jump off a cliff today than wear. Hell, she'd evenpick my clothes out everyday I was like, "Geez, mom. Cut the embilical cord already!"

LOL!!! Well, my mother gave up on turning me into a girly-girl LONG LONG AGO.... why? simply because I AM A LOST CAUSE! xD well, actually its just because I refuse to go shopping with her anyway. But she still manages to make clothes for me at home *omg how many times did she make me try on those clothes?!* (and yes, shes a seamstress)
Lol, my mom always takes so long to shop... whether it be trying them on, gawking at prices, seeing if it looks good in the mirror... UGH!! *drops head to computer desk* its too much now that i think over it.. again!

unfortunetly, that's my mom also. and then i start complaining that she's taking forever so i end up saying "give me money, i'll go buy my own clothes at the clearance rack." and she gives up buying clothes at the time because she knows i can't manage money for my life. haha. oh, and my mom is obsessed with purses and shoes. so, whenever we go to the mall and pass by them, it's like.. you can't pry her away. ughhh.

I remember that when I was younger, my Mum made me wear things like tights, knee high socks and tartan skirts that looked more like mini kilts....urgghh! As soon as I was old enough to speak my mind (hmm, about 5/6?) I put a stop to that pretty quickly, I can tell you!
