Has anyone in here read Death Note....most of you should have heard of this manga....its a BIG hit in Japan currently.

I mean if anyone of you haven't read it before...you definately SHOULD. The plot is very well-plotted and now its currently on its 2nd season...and the plot is geting much and much better.

My favourite characters are Light Yagami and Misa Amane...oh god i think they really make a good pair

Wow no one has really post here yet >_< Well let me start off. I'm only at Vol 5, and this is a crazy manga!! I agree with you ashleygurl, they would make a cute creapy couple,Â

Â I was wondering how many vol are there? And is it going to get even better?

I kinda wish they hadn't changed Raito's name to Light, it just doesn't seem to suit him as well.
I'm only on chapter 45 or so but it's really great and completely different to other mangas I've read. I love L, seriously! I just love the way he moves and all the little quirks the artist gave him, like how he holds forks. It's so cute!

I also love how L acts. Before I saw his Face I though he would be hot >_< But he is cute hot,

I kinda stopped reading it. After chap58 it just went downhill for me, it's still good! Don't get me wrong! But that thing that made it special beforehand is just missing now.
I'm sure anyone who has read that far will know what I'm on about, and please feel free to tell me whether that special thing comes back!

Theres no anime out but there was a quick scene in Full Metal Panic 2 with characters that looked just like L (^^), Misa and Ratio

so yeah hopefully one will be made soon I love the manga

The movie isnt an anime unfortunatley but i've seen a trailer for it and looks pretty good.

I have only read volume 1 of Death Note recently and I got to say its cool. The funny thing was that I was reading the Manga on the bus (and since Manga and Anime is not widely known in the UK, expect for those dubs for kids) this little boy thought I was reading Yu-Gi-Oh lol. I think he thought Light was that blonde hair boy from Yu-Gi-Oh (forgot his name) and Ryuk was a monster from Yu-Gi-Oh, but when he sat next to me to get a closer look at the Manga, I think it kinda freaked him out >.<"... bless him

Does anyone know that there is a Death Note live atcion series? The actors/actress are looking great, also the person who plays Light Yagami is the same person who played one of the characters in Battle Royale.

wow that is really good. I never knew that. I read the manga, but I knew there wasn't anime. I could never really find out about it.

Ok ready for the long post of death note. Warning This may take a while to readÂ

OK, here it is..

Death Note is about a high school honor student called Raito (also know as Light), who found a notebook called "Death Note". According to the instructions in the book, it said that if you put a person's real name in the book under various rules, the person will die. It ends up that it's the notebook of a Shinigami (God of Death), Ryuuku's. Ryuuku offered to let Raito keep the death note, because he is amused that Raito had already put countless names on the book after only one day. Raito, on the other hand, only put criminal's names, he thinks that the world is rotting, and he wants to clean up this world. To Raito, he is the justice. Also, the sudden deaths of many criminals alerted the autorities around the world. A mysterious yet world top class detective named "L" decided to investigate this case in the name of justice. Raito isn't someone whom they can simply catch. With the power of Death Note, and Raito's outstanding intelligence, a battle between two different justices begins...

IT sucks a great book. You never know what is going to happen next. Its a crazy book. The ideas, the intelligence between L and Raito's is really cool. Its like, two smart guys going at it.
