Director of Music:
Limping, but ignoring the pain, Phineas quietly made his way over to Rin.  He grimaced as he sat down, but managed to do so without to much trouble.  He put two fingers on her neck to feel her pulse.  It was there, but very faintly.  Phineas stood up again, and hobbled over to the window.  Oh how he wished help would be quicker.

Andy, who was awake, watched as his friend limped towards the window.  Andy cocked his head.  He stood up and walked over to Phineas, gently tapping his shoulder.  Phineas turned slowly.  Andy spoke quietly.

"You okay?"

"Of course I'm fine.  Why wouldn't I be?  Just a ray of sunshine, aren't I?"

Andy looked into Phineas's eyes to see worry there.  But his appearance was rather stony.

"I just...well, you seem to be favoring your left leg."

Phineas spoke back in an intense whisper.  "It's none of your business!"

Meanwhile, the nurse saw the boys quarelling.  She sighed, but had seen Phineas check on Rin.  She herself went over to feel the pulse and felt it weakening.  Her hands trembled slowly as she looked at the young girl.  "Just hang in there, sweetheart" she whispered.

Kasawa Lanford:
The clock had just struck eight when the rescuers breached the snow bank had been giving them so much trouble. Beyond they spotted the lodge and smiled when the wind calmed down to a simmer, the captain gave a smile and spoke to someone on the other end of his walk talkie. In the distance the sound of four tri-bladed helo's came into view, their engines being pushed to the limits.

As they flew over the captain knew that everything would now be fine, he watched as two of the helo's came about and inverted their tri-blades and began to settle toward the snow bank. Their engines were so hot that the snow melted away, running down the side of the mountain.

Paramedics and officers disembarked from the passenger compartment of the Helo and into the lodge. "Is everyone ok?" One yelled before he was told to shut up by a teacher, she gestured toward the children that were still asleep near the fire place. The rescuers all smiled sheepishly, but still had a serious look on their face as they began to carry the students out of the freezing lodge and onto stretches and then into the rescue copter.

The nurse stopped one paramedic. Anise, whom was still asleep, and Rin, who had yet to be woken up, were both placed on a stretcher together. The nurse didn't have the heart to seperate the two and followed the paramedics out of the rescue copter. She stopped briefly at the door through and turned toward the boys, "come on you two, after what happened last night, your going to be checked as well," she said.

Director of Music:
Andy, rather astonished replied, " I- what? We don't nee-"  Phineas jabbed Andy in the ribs.

"Of course, ma'am."  Andy worriedly watched as Phineas hobbled out.  He quickly followed Phineas and got into the copter.  At once, paramedics were all over the two, asking them a series of questions that were both humorous, (In Andy's opinion) and humiliating.  He got through his "interview" quickly.  He turned to look at Phineas who was muttering answers at the concerned paramedic.  The paramedic turned to another and they discussed it quietly.  They were able to get a quick scan, as it were, since it was in a copter.  Andy leaned forward to hear the paramedic.

"Son, you've got a leg infarction.  It's rather odd for someone as young as you to get it, but it's when-"
"The blood flow is obstructed, and I happened to get it in my thigh muscle."
The paramedic looked shocked.  "Yes, and well...we might have to am-"
"Sir, there is no way I'm going to let you amputate my leg."

The paramedic sighed.  "We can go in and remove the clot once we're in the hospital, but you'll be in pain, kid."

"I get it." replied Phineas.

Kasawa Lanford:
As the copter flew through the cold morning air; the pilot let out a yawn as he scanned the horizon. "What a desolete morning this is," he said as he banked the copter slowly to the left to correct his course. If he had been paying more attention to the left of him and just outside his cockpit window he'd have seen a person flying close to the copter, she wore a bluish outfit that covered everything but her head.

Her hair fluttered as she moved closer to the copter; she then peered through one of the port holes and smiled. Their safe, thats all that matters, but they'll be making their move anytime now, she said to herself and pushed off the copter and plummeted to the ground below. Just a few feet from the ground she summersaulted and landed squarely on both feet. "Is it time?" a boy sitting under a tree said.

"It is, alert the rest of the council. They've made their intentions known to us, and now we can't afford to keep those five under survalance. We must evac them from the city and take them to Exies," she said. The boy got up and bowed before dispersing into several hundred particles.

The girl sighed and extended her hand. "This'll be trying times for them," she said and spun around, as she did so she disappeared.

Director of Music:
Phineas leaned against the wall of the copter.  His leg was hurting already and he knew that if they didn't get to the hospital quickly, he really wasn't going to have the use of his leg anymore.  The paramedic sensing this, handed him a bottle of Vicodin, a pain reliever.  Phineas took two and swallowed easily.  The paramedic looked in awe.  "You just dry swallowed two pills."

Phineas arched an eyebrow.  "Erm..okay, that's really amazing, I guess."

The paramedic said, "Well, kids don't usually swallow pills without a liquid of some sort."

Phineas shrugged lightly and turned away, resting his leg.

Andy looked at Phineas, and at Rin and Anise.  The only thing he was glad for was that all of them were together, safe, for the time being.
