Of course there's nothing! Those people are BLIND to not see the great things Syaoran had done. [I prefer calling him "Syaoran" because I feel rather...er...close to him] I mean, which other guy would pay the price of his childhood relationship with the love of hs life in order to travel to different dimensions to collect her memories to keep her alive?! Well, if the guy really loves her of course he will, but I still feel that Syaoran's personality is unique. Who else do you know who's got great kicking techniques, interested in archeology and history, and what's more, loves books? {I love Syaoran for that!}

As nearly everyone on here knows, I call him by Syaoran-sama. Part of the reason is that he seems so much more above other men in maturity, body *drools*, and brain. He is always a gentleman, and he is just so kawaii! I also love that he'll risk his life for Sakura, and not expect anything in return! Gotta love that!

Syaoran has an amazing personality which is something to be looked up to and admired.
He is a role model and idol for me.
Someone like me who used to have very low confidence can learn alot from him as a character, they can learn themselves to be more confident and have faith in their own abilities.
almost like: 'OMG this situation is hard... what would Syaoran do?'  ^^;
does that sound crazy?

Thats why I idolise him. He nearly always has faith in himself, and if he ever gets discouraged, he'll try his best anyway. and its not even for himself, its for other people that he loves. ^_^

I think Thats all I wanted to say really, otherwise I may end up repeating myself ^^;
I tend to do that sometimes!

recently everything has backfired at me. Because I am so determind to be strong mentally and confident, people assume I need no sympathy or looking after.

I wonder if thats the way Syaoran would feel? do you think people over estimate his confidence? do you ever think he would just want a shoulder to cry on, let out all his sadness, have someone who would listen to HIS problems. Rather than him being the one trying to solve others problems?
Or is he completely unselfish? Can he handle aways carring out the supporting role?

I'd probably have to say CLAMP made him unselfish. ^^; its a very rare trait to have... He seems like someone who who smile even if he was hurting. (well, we know he does) Its always so much more painful to do that.
But he could never pour out his heart and soul to Sakura. He can't tell her how upset he is about her never remembering him ^^; Even though I am sure the one person he'd want to cry with and talk to would be her.
Then again, he does pour out his heart in other ways, by always fighting to get her feathers back.

Still, he's watching her back....who's watching his?  always being the strong, determind one is so hard. People forget sometimes the strong ones need to cry too...

I like to believe that Syaoran's cold exterior is just him putting up a front and trying to prove that he truly does cry and feel sadness. He's shown it in ways other than crying. Take episode 67: Sakura Syaoran and the Tsukimine Shrine. He was willing to sacrifice his feelings for her, but when he saw the glow card there was such a sadness and longingness in his eyes.

oh mianz.. i love this topic.. coz like you guys out there, i love Syaoran-kun for Syaoran-kun.. no matter whether it's in CCS or TRC, he'll always be my favourite Syaoran.. He is also the 1st anime guy i fell totally in love with.. yea.. agrees with cblossom.. i wiish Syaoran was REAL..

if he was, many of us would be fighting for him!!! OPPS.. hahax..

I love this topic too Zettai-san. Glad to see that it's back in use ^_^ and yes, Syaoran is wonderful. I can't say that I love him, as in a crush, but I certainly admire him. Despite the life he had, he continues to perservere, and has such a wonderful straightforward personality.
