etou...I've noticed this a long time ago, never thought of bringing it up until now though

I've noticed that in TRC, Syaoran only wears long pants, and in CCS, Syaoran wears shorts. o_O;

Lol. That is rather random, but I've noticed that too. Although in CCS, Syaoran has worn pants before. Maybe not all the time, but I've seen him wear them.

True, but on little Syao-chan shorts look good. Dunno about TRC Syao. None of the guys have worn shorts...I don't think Syaoran even wore shorts when he was a kid, at least from the flashbacks (which is weird, they live in the desert, don't they?)

Lol. We just get off on the weirdest topics. Lol. Good point! They do live in the desert so I don't get why he'd wear pants alot.. maybe he just doesn't get that hot. Or maybe it isn't really that hot there.

Truly a classic, and by far my favorite! Main reason is because it's the only episode that focuses directly on Syaoran! All the others revolve around Sakura, so Syaoran should have an episode of his own! He is the main male character after all!

Well, his shorts in CCS are part of his uniform in the summer... doesn't he wear balck pants for his CCS winter uniform? o_O
he wears pants casually in most episodes too...

TRC Syaoran wears pants yes... are they 3quarter length? or are they tucked into his boots?

another thing relating to what someone said about Syaoran being skinny... In Tsubasa everyone is extremely lanky ne?
I think I prefer the proportions in CCS better than TRC. Sometimes they look almost so skinny they wouldn't beable to use force, for example kick, without snapping or something ;___;

Lol. True! I just love how they play Ki Ni Naru Aitsu during that scene in the bear exhibit. That song is sooo cute!

Kini Naru Aitsu, as in the little video itself is adorable. The double date-feel to it, the general sweetness.

Woah, now that I think about it, lets compare: CCS Syaoran's song is about how he refuses to accept his feelings, even though he knows they're there. But TRC Syaoran's song is about how he understands and embraces (for lack of better word) his love.

Very very contrasting.

Like you said, in Ki Ni Naru Aitsu, he's like asking himself why he's having those feelings towards Sakura and everything like that. Well in Kizuna he's saying that he wants to protect Sakura's smile and knows that he loves her. So yeah that almost goes back to the original thing we were talking about where CCS Syaoran doesn't understand his feelings and tries to ignore them and TRC Syaoran knows he loves Sakura and tries to protect her.

^_^ interesting they are quite different.

I suppose it all goes back to what someone very rightly said earlier about CCS being a 'coming of age' anime, where they mature throughout the series and learn what their new found feelings mean. Plus, Syaoran in ccs is stubborn ^.^ His denial of his love is just like his character! lol
TRC Syaoran is more mature, and therefore, as you said, embraces his feelings openly.

I know I pretty much repeated what everyone else said... gomen!

About the pants thing. The ones TRC Syaoran wears are sorta baggy, aren't they? Maybe they're designed like that to get air in and keep him cool whilst protecting his legs from the sun (UV rays can cause skin cancer, can't they?) I dunno, something like that...maybe.

so scientific with this anime. haha. i think TRC Syaoran wears baggy pants just because of the fact that he's drawn tall and thin so it wouldn't look so weird for him to have chicken legs if he had shorts on. haha.
