Well...  She didn't JUST let me   She bought the stuff and she put it in my hair herself!!
It's more of a plum kind of color than a violet.     It's called chilled plum.

My mom will never let me dye my hair blue, purple, or pink XD My hair right now is dyed red but you can't really see it, it's kind of a mohagany colour right now. My mom will only let me go as far as highlights. But I'm working on her!

I bet your hair will look awesome, Ashlee! Show us some pics after you get it dyed!

I could dye my hair if I really wanted to, but I'm happy with my original color. I like the fact that I have little golden highlights in it.

I always thought your hair was blond Vex. It looks really light to me. Very similar to my dad's hair.

Yeah, it's possible that it's my screen. I always assumed you were a dirty blonde. Maybe I should change the settings.

My hair is a dirty blond in the winter. Its like a blonde, but a little darker then other blondes. My hair changes blonde types though out the seasons.

dirty blonds are thos who have darker blond hair, darker than staberry blonde but lighter than brown haired brunettes

how about everyone just tell me what you all think my hair is o.o that would be easier for me, I'm a bad judgement on myself (I don't even know my eye colour, I THINK it's blue, but it could be green or brown or grey too @_@)

I always thought they were blue. Then again, it could be my computer screen again  but at least we agree on that much!

You have a light brown hair colour, with I think blue eyes, not sure. But you will look good with a dirty blonde hair colour. That is just me though.
