Topic: How do you celebrate your holidays? (Read 8885 times)

I was just wondering how all of you guys celebrate your holidays?

In my family, we decorate the house with pretty lights, streamers and stars. We dress up in pretty clothes. We make good food and invite all our friends and family to come over and celebrate!

We celebrate our holiday by cooking, each of my family members cook their specialties, my specialty are potato dishes

. We also celebrate by having some friends and family members come over.

i remmember last christmas we celebrated christmas day screaming at each other that ended up in me and my mom crying and shouting and hating each other while my dad shouted at me and we all fought... yeah this happens most of the years...

Thankgiving ; A family dinner ( usually with my mother's side.. ) Â

Christmas ; Uh.. the usual waking up for stocking and then opening presents later. Visiting family. Â

New Years Eve ; Having a party with my closest friends. Â

We Don't celebrate chrismas very much anymore because of events a long time ago has made christmas stink.
One or 2 present's we get from people sending to us. We sit in a circle and open them then go on like a regular day or just sit and watch old christmas specials.
The only thing fun we do is make peppermint patties.
They taste much better than the store's too!

Christmas----> We get together at my aunt's house all dressed and eat and hand out presents. Also we take alot of pictures o_O;

Thanksgiving-->We get together again..And eat, talk, eat, talk and hang out lol!

New Years-->Nothing much really. We run crazy around the house, the kids that is lol.

Chinese New Years-->We dress up in traditional chinese dresses, eat, talk, hang out and pass out the money

Thanksgiving: Eat, and then experience WWF in the house. In other words, fights break out

Christmas: Wake up, open presents, go to church, and then have dinner later at about 3:00pm. After dinner, the usual fights break out, and I lock myself in my room or go on the computer.

New Year's Eve: I stay up until midnight, then go outside and shake a bottle of carbonated water open it up while screaming, "Happy New Year!" Usually the whole neighborhood can hear! Then I go to bed.

That's just joke I use, to lighten the topic. And it's been a while since I've watched sports. I like to play them, but I don't like to watch them. But thanks for telling me.

np, just thought i'd let you know, people will get confused now they changed it all around.

I remmember i normally celebrate my Birthdays alone.. Last time i had a BDay party was when i was like 10... or 9.
I usually get a few presents then have to go to school. I'm ignored by everyone all day and nobody even knows it's my birthday. And IF they do SOMEHOW find out i normally got a punched...

lol, that would of been pretty funny if it was a real pink dog XD

[edit]- and the bday thing i only see happening in the RP thread. which could actually be used for holidays such as Christmas and New Years parties too.

Hmm...that would be funny! But some dogs in movies are pink. Some poodles are pink, too. I've seen one before...the poor thing was wearing bows and ribbons all over...Poor Dog...

ok.
For easter... i get two choc eggs...

i remmember my worst Easter was on holiday and on Easter day they were cooking Bacon (and i can't stand teh smell of bacon) so i was leaning out the window ... _Vomiting... i'm not proud of it... i just can't stand bacon.. and it was on Easter too ... *sigh*

still i think i'm pretty lucky for what i get on Easter, although i'd love to do a egg hunt... i've never done that before... i've never done any easter games that i'm aware of actually .. .o.O
