DON'T SUE ME!!! I'm only in middle school, so all you'll get out of me is... now that I think of it, all you'll get in payment are my sobs and my stuffed animals. Talk about a "not worth it" reward... unless you have a passion for cheesey stuffed animals... Then you're just WAY too crazy about stuffed animals... LIKE ME!
Sakura is a girl who goes to Tomoeda High school. She has recently entered in the exams. When she is invited to a party at her freind's, Tomoyo's, house. She realizes it's casual dress and arrives.
Sakura: Hi Tomoyo, how are you?
Tomoyo: Pretty good. Did you know I actually invited Syaoran Li and he CAME?
Sakura: Who's Syaoran Li?
Tomoyo: He's the most popular bot at the Chinese school that's the hardest to get into, harder than Tomoeda High!
Sakura: I'm not really into chinese matters.
Tomoyo: I'll introduce you.
Sakura: No, please. I don't want to meet him. He's a BOY. I'm used to you introducing me to girls to have them for freinds. If I didn't know better I'd think you were setting me up.
Tomoyo: Of COURSE I'm setting you up. He's so totally HOT!
Tomoyo dragged Sakura to the middle of the hall when Sakura finally got away from her and headed for the gardens. Not the big garden in view of everyone at the party, but the small, secret gardens hidden all along her wealthy freinds house. She preferred those gardens. There, she sat on a bench away from all the talking and people. Her shirt and shorts made her hard to spot on the warm summer night. Her hair pulled back in two pig tails on thee side of her head were adorable.
Boy: Can I sit here?
Sakura looked up to see a boy about her age, only a little older, standing over her. He had messy brown hair and he wore a T-shirt and shorts that were painfully plain. He was smiling at her.
Sakura: Sure, do you think anyone is sitting here already?
Boy: I just figured you might have a boyfriend.
Sakura: Why is that?
Boy: Because you... never mind.
Sakura: Why are you here?
Boy: I'm tired of people fauning over me all the time. You?
Sakura: I'm escaping from all that noise. It hurts my ears. Plus Tomoyo tried to drag me to meet someone who is most likely a spoiled rich brat who she thinks is amazing. She gets really annoying after a while. She thinks this person is really hard to get at a perty because he's so popular. I think popularity is a waste and is worthless, through and through.
Boy: Same here.
They spoke for a while when they heard a bell toll in the backround. It tolled ten times. It was getting late.
Boy: I have to go now. Later.
He started to get up.
Sakura: Wait.
Boy: Yes?
Sakura: What's your name?
Boy: What's yours'?
Sakura: It's Sakura.
Boy: Cherry Blossom, eh? Nice name.
He looked at a watch on his wrist and looked at the moon.
Boy: It's really getting late. Bye.
Sakura: But what's your name?
Boy: *hesitates* It's Syaoran.
Syaoran, the boy Tomoyo dragged her to meet. He was kind... And he just ran off, but not before adressed her one more time.
Syaoran: I thought you should know... Before anyone else. I'm moving to Tomoeda. I'm going to go to Tomoeda High. Hope to see you there.
Sakura only had time to say half of "good-bye" before she blinked and he disappeared. He was as Handsome as Tomoyo had said.
The next day, Sakura went to school and asked Tomoyo if she met Syaoran Li.
Tomoyo: I DIDN'T. *cries* He escaped somewhere right before I got to his group. I at least wanted to see how he reacted if I flirted a little. This totally sucks. Some people say he laft right after ten. He says he wasn't board because he was with some girl in the gardens, but he wouldn't say who! I wonder who it was. I HAVE TO KNOW!
Sakura: Why?
Tomoyo: So I can BEAT HER TO A BLOODY PULP FOR RUINING MY PARTY!
After school, Sakura and Tomoyo walk home and see someone was moving into the house next to Saklura's. They deem it uninteresting (even though Sakura thought she knew who it was) and went their seperate ways.
Later that afternoon, Sakura went over with some home made muffins for whoever was moving in.
Sakura: Hello now neighbor.
Syaoran: Hello, Sakura.
Sakura: I thought it was you, but I didn't know for sure, so I came over. I made some home made muffins. Hope you're not alergic to poppy seed.
Syaoran: Arigato.]
Sakura: It was no trouble.
A bird chirped in the backround and was soon joined by many others. As soon as Sakura said "It was no trouble" a dog leaped out of the open door and onto her. It was a pomeranian that was jet black. It barked and licked her face. The muffins lay safly in Syaoran's hands.
Sakura: You have a dog? Lucky.
Syaoran: Not really, he's a VERY big responsibility.
Sakura: My brother's going to be home in a few minutes so I have to make dinner. See you at school.
She left without another word. When she got home she made dinner, did her homework, let her brother in, ate, and went to bed. |
