I'm not really a fan of well same sex couples but the way in which yukito and touya are portrayed seems absolutelty natural and does not come across as really weird. they look really good together and their love is one which is different and somehow harder to understand.

Many things just don't apply.

If you like Clamp or pretty much any Anime or Manga, you need to have an open mind and get rid of some of the conditioning that comes from the society you live in.

People just fall in love with someone. They don't really check who they have fallen in love with. It just happens. Didn't you see that shaoran didn't even realised it when he had and his first reaction was 'why her?'. And then touya+yuki have been shown in such a nice way that you feel nothing's wierd. they look so good together.
I think that yue is genderless. I mean if you see yuki then you are bound to disagree but then Nkuru also looked like a girl but she said herself that as she isn't a human so the gender doesn't matters. Won't that be true for yue/yuki too.?
I used to think that they are best friends love for each other but we are told that it is more than that when yukito tells sakura that touya is the person for him.

Yes, from what I understand Yue and Nakuru are genderless.

Yuki would be different though, because he is the disguised human form of Yue.
Therfore I would assume he needs to look completely human. If you remember, in the Manga and Anime Yuki doesn't know that he has another self. If he weren't entirely a male I think then that the disguise wouldn't work so well, ne?
Surely he at least would notice that he was somehow different.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with Touya and Yukito's relationship, i actually think it's very cute! I was quite offended however to find that some people thought it was weird, but then everyone's entitled to their own opinions, and i guess that there are always those who just don't understand.. -_-

Like I said before, it's a sweet coupling, and there's a lot more caring/romance than in some staright couplings you get. If you don't like a particular coupling, that doesn't make it weird. It just means that in your opinion, it's not what you like to see in a manga. Calling this coupling weird, is very insulting to a lot of people.

I don't think its weird at all. But i hate it when magna or anime shows gay couples in a comic/ridiclous way. but Yukito/Yue and Touya are SO Perfect together!!!!! And CLAMP is one of those good type ppl that shows their relationship in aa respectfull and loving way.

I love that about this couple!!!!

I agree. They are so cute together. Kind of like fai and kuro, but they don't fight.

thats how nelvana shoved it down our throats. from what ive heard/seen, neklvana cut out every HINT of a "closer than friends" friendships. (at least they didnt do what CWI did and make a Yuri couple into cousins >.<[See haruka-michiru pairing])

both Yue and Ruby Moon (i dont know her "human" name) are gederless. yue was refered in boy terms (he, his) probably because his human form is a guy. plus, Yue cared just as much about tuoya too, even if he shares his soul with Yuki, he cared alot about him, especialy after what Tuoya did.

Ruby moon, "she" just liked wearing womans clothing(in human, and full powered form), so there for was refered to as a "she"...i think...
