I wouldn't mind helping with the development of the main story, and possibly moderating a bit. I've run a few places in the past (though I have a terrible record for sticking with things

I'd be happy to help moderate and manage the forum, but I'm not sure I have the time to be the main person doing that. If somebody else took the leading role, I would be happy to assist them. Heck, if that doesn't work...I'll probably end up participating in your RP thingie as a player. ^^

As for experience, I'm currently running the story for Soul Society RP: http://s4.invisionfree.com/Bleach_RP/index.php?act=idx and I run the UESAT faction for Age of Defiance(though it hasn't gotten off the ground yet): http://s7.invisionfree.com/Age_of_Defiance/index.php?.

On both of those, I go by Yamato.

My Forum RPG style is a more Topic-ish approach though. But in vein of that I made lots of it.

I'm glad to see many volunteers... So, who makes the story? Where are the people who voted Yes in the poll? Guys, discuss what you want to see in the RP here! I thought you wanted one. I voted No there cos like I said I've never played on an RP before and I'm not sure if I'll be able to join the one we'll create here..

Little Wolf - It depends on the story if it's a group effort or a single user apporach.

Is the approach a single RPG style?

Yeah, that would be good to know. I'm inclined to suggest something along the vein of SS, albeit without the stats. You know, you can run a sub-plot by yourself if you wish, or you can participate in the main plot that the moderators are running. Or both, if it comes to that.

So yeah, I'd suggest that it go that route, but whatever works.

Here is an idea.. you change the plot to a new one every month... so a new story starts every month. More intresting no?

Eh, I'm not so sure. I mean, yeah, that does make it a bit easier to just jump in, but I'm not terribly fond of arbitrary deadlines. I would agree that it would be better to run shorter plots as opposed to longer plots, though.

We can make a general RPG one then spawn EU series (that's what I did in one of my RP's).

It really depends on the RP. Some may have OC's some are not. It depends on the RP.

In combat in terms of Forum RPG, the biggest challenge is damage resolution.

Fortunately I learned a thing or two about it.

Hm...damage resolution? I usually just say "make it a badass fightscene and you'll make me happy". ^^;

So yeah, I bow to your experience in this area.
