well, looks like CW is dead, and with TRC/xxxholic ending soon, I doubt it will get any lively soon, sorry to say.

I miss a lot of people here, and I sometimes pass by here to check on things, and little has changed.

oh well. I hope the older members can pass by here sometime as well. I miss them all.

It's weird. I have this as one of my tagged home pages (among a couple million) so I look at it everytime I open my browser, but I haven't posted anything in months.
It's sad. For the longest time this was a second home to me and I met so many awesome people....

One of the problems is that for some reason the host that DJP use's has a small problem with it; the forum isn't always see-able to the net. For example, why do you think I've been GONE for so long? Because as far as the net is concerned - www.capturedwings.org does NOT EXIST - this occurs at least several times a month for me and usually results in me being only able to access the forums sparingly. This NEEDS to be fixed and fixed quick, either by contacting the host and asking them what is up with that - or by finding a new host. Sadly, finding a new one might be a bit hard to do thanks to the current economy.

its not the host, but rather poor DNS servers used by ISP's (sadly more and more common as some ISPs are so money driven they won't pay people to properly set-up and maintain such an important service).. I run my own DNS servers for this site, This site (and any of my others) are hosted on a dedicated server.
Try using OpenDNS or Google's DNS servers (Google's is 8.8.8.8)
