The animation wasn't as bad as the previous episode, yet some parts still had you left to wonder.

Despite knowing only a few words, I was kind of into the story.Â During the fight they were actually moving so that was something....and then all of a sudden.Â Ooops.Â Sakura's trapped again.

.....ending it there would have been nice, but I suppose it was wishful thinking

at least i think that now Shaolan Sakura Kurogane and Fai are well prepared for the violence in the next Tokyo world,because this arc has been so awfully traumatizing that nothing can now disturb their poor shocked brain after seeing the slaughter of Beetrain

The feathers were all fake... Chaos used them to make some false memory about him. He tried to manipulate sakura and make her believed that he was the most important (beloved) person in her life. Sakura realized it ( because sakura most important person is Touya and her dad ) so she rejected all the feathers he had given to her.

I got a feeling that its going to be a dramatic ending. Hope it will. I wonder what xing huo and Feiwong been planning. I guess its something related to the other syaoran.

I hope Bee train don't do something that spoil the X dimension, I thing the end of the season is going to be a cliffhanger, The drowings were a little beter than the las episode.

I', going to say something wierd about the sworth situation, but is some kind of hipotesis, I thing That Suohi, in the hands of Xiao-Lang uses the power of some kind of Ice fire, because the soul of Xiao-Lang is like the fire. I thing this is kind of stupid but, as I say before, is just a hipotesis.

I think the synopsis for the episode said something about Kuro finding a black-smith to fix Hein. I'm not gonna bother watching it, so long as they set things up for Acid Tokyo in a somewhat acceptable manner, I won't make much of a big fuss. ~~lol, yeah right.~~

I like this episode better than the last few. Syaoran and Chaos's fight was actually pretty well done. The plot still makes little sense and Sakura is being phenominally useless, but it was a tad better.

mmm...I'm starting to think that this episode has been done to introduce S&S soap for 3rd season...Sakura and Syaoran are willing to meet each other, and Chaos get very jealous!

I agree your idea Sailor Yue-chan. I never think I'd say this, but I've to watch next episode. Yes, we're from AntiNHk-BeeTrain campaign, but there's something extrange with Syaoran in the preview...

I cant really say much about this episode because I havent really seen it. I just read the summary on Random Curiosity. But looking at the screenshots, the quality of the fighting between Chaos and Syaoran was awesome. Better then the previous episodes.

For some reason, I'm guessing it's gonna be a cliffhanger ending. Hoping I'm wrong...~_~'' When this season ends, when is it gonna start the 3rd season?

The Chaos arc should end off the second season and then the third, according to Loop, will begin in April.Â Hopefully we'll start it off with the Tokyo arc ::crosses fingers:: ^_^

another thing which is bothering me with Beetrain (not to say everything Â

),is that to compensate for the lack of action in the anime they deafen us with a overbid of musics Â

in only one episode they are able to spread five songs in one go,and they don't even cut the paroles when the characters are chatting,while the most important is not the song but the discussion which is supposed to make progress the scenario Â

fortunately the songs are great,but the anime is not a musical show,and moreover by listening over and over the same themes Beetrain is just starting to weary us Â

i think that Beetrain is using this strategy for two purposes :
first they try to boost the anime by putting rousing songs to prevent us from sleeping,and next they are doing advertisements for the OST,peharps because they fear that it would be their only incomes since nobody is going to buy the anime Â

It really makes me sad to watch the most recent episode and compare them to the early part of the series.Â Even if the animation hadn't always been on, they had a creative way to pull out the best feature in the characters.Â Like in episode 12, they would often show Sakura with a background of coloring that would bring out her eyes, or they would make the colors to reflect the overall mood.Â Even the action scenes were put together better than now.

There aren't enough angles to keep us watching....they tend to stay on one shot in the same scene for a long time.

Basically, it's not just the disregard to the story line and character developement that makes me so....angry about these episodes.Â But the overall presentation of them.

~~That and them cutting off all the drunken scenes xD~~

the music rape in this season...ugh. they totaly over played kaze no machi he in the roadtrip episode >_<Â and ep 42, "far side of nostaliga" it DID have one too many insert songs. sure the song layed whtn syaoran remembered the apple was beautiful, but they should have chosen one of the regular soundtracks for when they traveld to the ruins

as for the start of season 3...they might end up being afraid to start off with suc a dark storyline. a perfect opening for sason 3 would be Coutry of Idols. it was only 3 manga chapters (ch 50-52), so its a perfect single eppisode manga filler arc. its cute, funny and it will show sakura NOT BEING WORTHLESS!!! plus, i think its im[ortant to see just how much power ths one little girl has! otherwise people who dont read the manga will be seriously confused when sakura

OMG. Yes. xD

I never understood why they skipped those chapters over. There was no mass blood spill, no drinking, and the most violent thing was Syaoran getting hit on the head

Unless they thought children might want to start setting up sacrifices because of the referance to it....^^;; it would make the perfect little break-in episode <3

the two first openings of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle were just showing the team fighting,running,dancing and jumping like grasshoppers,so from the beginning Beetrain was leading the anime on the wrong way.
the problem is that they wanted to display The anime like a pure shonen serie while CLAMP was more based on shojo feelings in the manga,so the alchemy between the two couldn't work

the anime of Tsubasa is hollow,without any moral or philosophy,the dialogues are empty and the characters seem to have great difficulty to speak clearly,like if Beetrain hasn't any brainwaves...
it really seem that there wasn't any team work between CLAMP and Beetrain,so the result is that the anime and the manga are totally dispersed

i see people concerned about the setting up of the tokyo arc... to tell the truth i am too. i suppose i agree with country of idols being epi number 1, but if we know beetrain, they just won't bother with most of the violence in tokyo. they'll prolly just make up some bogus storyline that skips most of it.

for instance: Syaoran's eye seal breaks and other syao shows up, but no violence, no fye losing eye or leg stabbing, etc. syaoran just kinda goes crazy and leaves. <-------sounds like a great beetrain plan to me NOT

just sayin', i wouldn't be surprised.

ps; who else thinks that comparing xxxholic anime to tsubasa;

in xxxholic, while she is lanky and has very cut features, she is still beautiful and kinda girly
in tsubasa, she just plain looks like an ugly man.................. who gets uglier in season 2

I agree!! I've always wondered why Clamp isn't involved in the making of "their" animes. They could at least say something when the anime gets on the wrong track.(TRC)
About the openings, the songs are good but why all the shonen? The guys are fighting while Sakura's running around like the little helpless princess she is, at least that's the image I get. And the dialogues, It goes like this:

Sakura:Â Syaoran-kun.....
Syaoran: Hime!

It continues for an eternity.

I can't say I've always disliked the anime, the beginning was good but now it's way out of line.

The Tokyo arc, I know it's not going to be the same ......I'm not sure I'll watch it, maybe, but only to see how bad it is.

spot on o_o 'hollow' is the perfect way to describe it. Barely any emotion or feeling.

TRC is serialized in a shounen magazine so it is suppose to be shounen. and most clamp works are more on shounen/seinen/josei side. The only shoujo title under clamp label is CCS.

if they are going to turn TRC into shoujo sakura should be the one fighting battles and not syaoran.

Well, TRC is Shonen to begin with. I don't see anything wrong with the guys fighting and doing all the flashy stuff, and Sakura running seems fine as well. I know what you mean, she can look like a helpless princess, but putting her fighting would look out of character wouldn't it?

But oh well, i guess it's irrelevant if it's shounen or shojo, people from both genders end up watching it anyway

Definitely this season was a dissapointment. Like you said, the beggining was good, season 1 wasn't the best thing ever made but it was pretty good, and it followed the manga most of the time. The fillers and the quality of the animation were good most of the time...

But season 2 is a completely different story. Personally what I hate the most is the character raping, Kurogane in particular, they ruined him completely this season >.<

CLAMP didn't giver the rights for TRC to BEETRAIN, it was the manga company they work with that gave it to BEETRAIN. So we have three forces agaist CLAMP.

The music and a few epi's are the only things that is saving the TC anime at the moment.

definatly. if it werent for Yuki Kajiura, Itou Eri and Kinya (and ocasionaly help from the VAs) TRC anime wouldnt be worth our time.

I agree, the music is the only thing that you really like about the anime. At least in season 2.

there is A LOT of insert songs this season but i've gotta admit that i really like the Chaos arc with Sakura being angry (i think it's the first time she's angry in the anime) and Syaoran VS Chaos was a good battle in this

i hope the subs of the last ep comes soon, so i can watch Syaoran wielding that big knife/sword thingy XDD

i thought that this filler was quite good.. maybe bcoz Chaos-sama is so good-looking!!!!! *inset fan-gal squeals* but i do hope they arrive in Tokyo soon after this.. i can't wait till Clonie appears!!! GO CLONIE!!!!! U are much much cooler than Choas-sama.. dun worry!!! hahax..
