I never got picked on for liking CCS by my mother (i inherited her obsession for asian and mainly japanese things).

a few months back...

Me: *watching CCS 2nd movie in the living room*

Mom: *enters* are you watching that one ...again?!

Me: Yup! *happy face*

Mom: How many times?

Me: this would be the 100th time, hehe

Mom: must be good movie then *sits down in front of the tv*

half a hour later we're watching the scene where Sakura confesses and Syaoran doesn't say anything...

Mom: Say something you stupid kid! (i think she is a S&S supporter as well ^^)

Me: whoa! relax mom!

a few minuters later the credits come....

Mom: it was a good movie

Me: now i just need to get the other movie

Mom: warn me when you have it, i want to see that one too.

Me: sure!

^ that is my mom, but some kids at school.....sheesh!

Me: *watching CCS on the pc in school, and some guy walks by*

guy: *looks at Sakura fighting against Storm Card* It looks like Dragonball Z

Me: *almost dies of shock*

guy: what?

Me: *gives the guy the biggest Syaoran death-glare you've ever seen*

guy: *quickly walks away*

and some people just say it's stupid when i tell them about it.....

I've been picked on for liking CCS even though i'm in college now.  but i really don't care a lot since they can never understand.

^ Well I'm already working, and having a wallpaper of Syaoran kissing Sakura and a CCS Sakura pin on your bag is something to raise your eyebrows about. The girls in the office love the waallie, though. :XD:

i don't get picked on... but some of my friends find it a bit "childish" that i like CCS. they don't say anything bad about it tho... they just give me a "you're still into THOSE kind of stuff" face.

Basicly, most people don't know of other kind of Anime other then what is on prime time TV, ie. Sailor Moon, Digimon, DBZ,ect....

So what I do to break the ice is find an anime that is or would be in their liking, then I get them hook line and sinker.

Good rec. Is Fruits Baskets--For the girly type
Weiss Kreuz/Gluhen American version for the Outtakes,
Many more I can't think of at the moment

I'm in college now so it's okay it profess your love of CCS/pokemon/digimon/whatever but in Sec school if I ever mentioned it people would be like 'Oh yeah, that's like DBZ, innit?' - _-

I know a lot of persons who think CCS is only for children, but that's no true. I'm shy and everytime I see CCS I prefer see it alone...my parents could think I'm a child (When I'm 18 XD) or I'm a bit bizarre..
I remember when ih my birthday I watched 2nd movie with my friends in living-room and all we laugh again and again...my father was surprised...once I saw a Yukito-Sakura-luv my mother asked me "Why does he look so stupid closing eyes and smiling in that way?" :dodge:

I've never been picked on for liking it, maybe because many of my friends like anime and CCS ^^. I'm the one who likes it the most though

everyone does. My cousin who kinda made fun of me because i watched an anime and he thought i was childish, actually is a fan of Detective Conan and Death Note. Child Yourself!

Ironically, some people I know don't know TRC, but they know Chronicle of the Wings. And they're the same guys who go hanyaan over my Kero-chan wallies. O_o
