Why does everyone in CCS think Sakura looks more like her mother? The only similarites I can see between their appearances is that Sakura has the same eye color as her mother, but I always thought she looked more like Fujitaka and Touya looked more like Nadeshiko to me. Even Tomoyo looks more like Nadeshiko than Sakura yet all the other characters seem to think otherwise.

they do have kinda similair personalities but for the rest i don't really see any other similairities

Facial structure? XD It might not be her hair the way it looks right now, but it seems like if she tried growing it out, she'd probably get the same wavy effect.

She's also got that warm glow in her face when she smiles. ^^

Yeah, when I saw Kobato I thought that she was an older Sakura-chan...Kobato and Saku are really similar!

when i look at Sakura's mother hair i will say that she resembles much more to YukitoÂ

that's why Sakura and Yukito couldn't be lovers in CCS...they were half brother and half sisterÂ

Actually, her hair looks a lot more like Tomoyo's than Yukito's. Didn't Tomoyo's mom want Tomoyo to keep her hair long because it reminded her of Nadeshiko's?

Well Tomoyo IS Sakura's cousin. They probably made Tomoyo look more like Nadeshiko so that her mom (aka Nadeshiko's sister) would have like a child that was like her beloved sister. Kind of a reminder that she's always there. Anyways if anything Sakura looks more like Fujitaka but has the eyes of Nadeshiko. Isn't that enough? Not all people look like their parents or carry most of their traits.

you are right,but Tomoyo seems much more japanese than Sakura's mother,since Nadeshiko has got light skin and hair,and curls locks

when we think about it Sakura hersef is far from being a typical japanese girl according to her features,and she is nevertheless one of the most popular manga characters in japan

Thanks, Michigirl and Tatasenko! *cookies* Yup...Tomoyo does look more like Nadeshiko than Sakura does...Tomoyo's eyes have an aura very similar to Nadeshiko's...

We need to get a picture of Nadeshiko when she was little (in the episode where Sakura visits her great grandpa, I think, and compare it to the 10 year old Sakura).

I don't think she looks like her father. What she has from him, is his hair and color of skin, instead of her mother's fair (which is why people probably take the dad/daughter resemblance in). The rest, including the eyes and facial features, is/could be like Nadeshiko, which is why there is always the comparison between the two. It is mentioned for a reason, and if mostly everyone in the CCS world mentions it, then it must be true.Â Is proper for a girl to take after her late mother. Remember that they are both referred to as cute also.

As for Kobato, to make it short, she's Sakura with long hair, kind of long hair....

O.o the remsemblence is uncanny!!! she realy looks like the Sakura in TRC not much of the one in CCS.. coz the CCS one looks younger..
