And again, my opinions on the preview for next week!

What the heck? Are they rounding up Shurano country in three episodes too?! Noooo!
Though I must say, Kurogane's outfit looks sooo pretty! And Fai's outfit too! I always pictured those to be red, and not blue...
Ashura's ears look ugly. They're way too... Errrr... wide. And he/she looks too girly. I think it's the lipstick.

Well, the animation of that episode looks nice, apart from Ashura's ears. I love the Syaoran mirror thing.

the preveiw for the next episode looks interesting.

if the shura arc is only going to be 3 eps, that means "love that transends time" is gonna end up being a filler? gah. so confusing

No... I think that maybe they'll do an entire episode on Suzu-whatshername and Souseki. Or the last half of the fourth episode... I'm not sure if they'll actually finish the 'past' world in episode 3. But it looks like it.

I have to say that this episode was at least a lot better than the last two. It wasn't great and the characters still looked weird and awkwardly drawn (Kurogane especially, he looked like an old man the whole time), but it was alright. I really don't like the lipstick on Ashura.

Kuropon's attacks looked really sugoi though, especially the last one (I think it was something like tenba kuryuusen, but I don't know).

Also, the smooth Jazz version of a Song of Storm and Fire kinda made me laugh

Yeah, this episode seemed alot better than the previous few.
They kept most of the stuff from the manga, in as far as I can tell, and the characters were a bit better drawn (I think they always look better in the darker/nighttime episodes) although Sakura looked a little.. off now and then, Kuro did look a bit too old in some bits, and Fai had that sorta.. evil grin near the beginning that was sort of strange.. But anyway, I think this is my favourite of this series so far.
I loved Fai and Kurogane's eyes XD They made Kuro look sweet~

Okay, I saw the episode.

I must say, when it comes down to the plot, it all fit pretty nicely. No added crap, no removed crap... And very very nice new songs. Not just that Jazz song.
I loved the look on Sakura's face when Syaoran asked her to play that... lute thing. ^^'
Though the animation.... Well, nearing the ending of the episode, it got better. Like they switched animators in the middle of Syaoran's battle with Kurogane. Yasha looked very very... HOT, and Ashura looked awfully girly. Seriously, that lipstick! I bet it's just so the dubbers can make Ashura into a full woman.Â Even though he/she has a flat chest.Â >_>
And is it just me, or did Syaoran not make any comments at all about the black eyes? Also, did Fai even open his mouth in the past world? I don't think I heard him say anything...

Edit: Whoops, nevermind. I remember now.

Fai didn't know the language, did he? I think he pretended to be a mute or something in the manga. He always let Kurogane talk for him. It would've been suspicious if he said something now. ^^'

I thought this episode was pretty well put out, compared to the last few. The animation was better, yet still looked a bit out of it at times. Some of their looks scared me toward the beginning. Besides bring a bit rushed, I felt, the episode followed through most of the manga. Though I think Syaoran and Kurogane's battle could've been longer, the music during it was interesting. But Ashura with lipstick... pretty strange. Overall, I'd say this episode was pretty good. The preview for the next episode looks interesting, as well.

I hate to be the one who annoys everyone posting about download troubles rather than the episode, so let me say a bit about the episode preview first. >.>
Ashura DID look feminine, but he's sort of supposed to- I mean, they never established a gender for him/her in RG Veda and he/she does look femmy in the manga and in the character guide there's a picture of him/her that DEFINITLEY has boobs. And that's not just me seeing thinga, because he/she is naked, and it's quite clear. So femmy Ashura is fine.
Anyhoo, my torrent isn't working. At all. And I can't figure out why. So can someone upload it for me? Sorry, thanks, etc. DX

*and i was realy creeped out by that look fai gave at the begining when he was staring at the purple bloby thing O.O;;; evil...can someone get me aq screen shot of it? ill give a cookie ^^;;

Really? Boobs? But in this episode, he/she was wearing outfits that clearly showed he/she was flatchested. O_o

Do the anime crew understand anything about surprises and suspense? Did they have to show such an obvious sillouette of Ashura and Yasha embracing? They've just ruined the end of this world like they did with Suzuran and Souzeki.

And although I loved the Kuro and Syao battle...at the end Kuro should have landed on Fay's horse-thing not to the side. It was one of the things that showed how well they worked together and was a sign that they'd been there a while (much longer than Sakura and Syaoran). It may seem petty but it was IMPORTANT for showing the amount of time they'd been SEPARATED! GAH!!!! The anime is just RUINING this story arc...*pout*

And as for Ashura's dance...I was hoping that since they used the crappy-apprentice-teenaged anime crew for the last episode that they would use the top quality one for this one and see Ashura's dance animated...but no, they were lazy and just drew the manga panel line for line and showed Sakura playing instead (although her 'Hoe!' was cute when she was asked to play).

I am almost at the point where I don't CARE if this season is finished being subbed...it's lacking in every way so far (despite the promising start it had with the first episode of Piffle World).
