hmm...hair is normally not the problem for me, coz i juz think of the hair style and let the hair flow wif the natural of the hair style and picture~~

prob for me is the eyes...i get crams when i'm trying to draw eyes coz i'm juz no good at it...i cant bring out expression fr the eyes really well and the eyes are the major part of expression~

imo theres no ned to copy stroke for strok when it comes to the hair really,  juz go according to the hair style and it'll be much more simple, the eyes i draw nvr look the same, as in right -eye and left-eye....i've goto do something bout that~~ ehehh~~

Argh! I get that too. I'll work for like half an hour on one eye and then I go to do the other one its all off center and messy and just plain blah!
I've got to work on that, too!

folds on clothes usually isn't a problem for me.
It's shading them that makes me rip the page in frustration.

shading is ok for me coz i juz look where the light is coming fr and the shadows previously cast, but the drawing of the folds becomes a prob for me coz it doesnt always seem natural when i draw it....

use the same style: like hair thats curly at the tip but straight at the top and middle, so use that like a backbone for your picture, then the movement of the character and environment will come into place to affect the direction of the strands~~ :D

Actually i think the most important thing is 'practise makes perfect', if u never practise, u would never attain ur own style or draw anything properly, in an interview, CLAMP mentioned that they are trying hard to improve and they kept practising and that's how that reach to today's well world-wide status..and i totally appreciate their effort. CLAMP ROX XD

I totally agree with Ashleygurl if a person never develops practise, nothing could be done...and don't even mention their own drawing styles....i think putting an effort is more important...and sometimes copying an artist work, as many ppl copy CLAMP is not a bad thing...its a way how u copy someones and then develop ur own style gradually.
