I know I'm not a moderator, but if I catch ANY of you dissing another person's religion, I swear that I'll make sure Wolf hears about it. (Very anti-predjudiced). Religion is a very sensitive topic in a forum.

lol ease up no ones trying to offend anyone

i know what you mean, i try as hard as i can to try not to offend people, but i must admit now, that i do love comdey about Religion, as long as you remmember to Not Take it Seriously !! good example is comedian George Carlin and his comedy sketch Case Against God, its truly hilarious.

I liked Bill Hicks sketches on religion, they were funny. But yeah, I don't take any of it seriously.
The same with Dane Cook (who was raised Catholic), funny stuff.

I know! The first time I listened to him I was just like, "Wow, it would be awesome to see one of his shows."
And my brother was like, "You know he's dead, right?"
I never figured out how he died? OD'd?

Wohoe....Totally off topic.
Yeah, Religion is a serious matter and no one here should be judging/insaulting people by their religion.
There, got it back on track  :tongue3:

Argh! That totally makes me mad.
The same thing happened with me at my school.
You'd think that people would respect someone who has that much self control. Geez....people these days.
I just believe that you should do it when you're ready....not because everyone is.

It's not that someone already has, it's just there's a possibility that someone will.

I've had experiences with religion in other forums. Not very good ones, I might add. People start flaming each other because they're a specific religion, and some forums even ban the discussion of religion.

Actually, SLi, there isn't. I think you (or Little Wolf) might have forgotten to make the option available to some of the user groups...

Edit: WHOOPS, never mind. I'm used to it being in the corner where the Modify, Delete, and Quote buttons are...

i'd hate for that to happen, i personally love religion, its truly fascinating. i have friends in a few different religions, my gf is christian. and i can just get into conversations for ages just talking about religion alone ^^;;
some of the religious festivals that some cultures hold seem really fun too ^^

Exactly why I love it! The different forms of religion I mean... you'll realise that there's so many things to celebrate about and so many great stories that come out of each religion that you can't help but admire them.

yea its fine to learn about other religions if you already have one, it doesn't mean your just gonna flip and change religions, its just interesting and you can sometimes learn things by what or how they do things or by some stories

Religion its indeed fascinating... and its a touchy topic as well... there's so many problems with it in the world >.< sometimes I think those are jsut excuses for something else

ANYWAY... I think that it's just a cultural thing. because, in the end, its the same God, no matter what, no matter how you call it, God that created us and loves us ^^

it's interesting.... cause if you're learning about another religion... it's kinda like a challenge.... to be strong in your faith and religion not to fall for another one...

a problem arises when some other person starts putting up opinions of the doctrines of what they're explaining though. that's y i studied religion for my HSC (australian leaving certificate), to learn more about different religions

religion is definately sensitive, because if you believe in a religion, clearly you adhere to it's teachings. i just wish ppl would be more open-minded and sympathetic and empathetic of each other.

Not entirely. Not every religion promotes peace and unity amongst everyone. (Unless I'm very well mistaken)
