Yes, I'm a catholic.  ^^  The thing that confuses me though are Christians.  I hear people saying Catholics are the same as Christians but I also hear people saying they're not.  -_-

I don't really follow any religion....when push comes to shove, I'm Christian because I believe in God....

But I don't pray, or go to church or anything

I personally am an athiest, because in my mind, religon isn't realistic. But, I have nothing against Christains or Buddists or anything, it is just my personal opinion. Plus, If you are Cathlic, you are a christan. You believe in christ. The other kind of christan is protestants, like baptist and such. (I was raised christian -^^-)

I was born Jewish myself, but I only follow some of the traditions for the benefit of my family, mostly I just believe in a mixture of things so I couldn't really name the religion I follow ^^

I'm Catholic, but I'm very erm... unorthodox and anti-conservative with my religion. I believe in Christ but I hardly ever read the Bible. Besides, for someone like myself, I curse. A lot.

acutally, 1/3 of my life i was practicing catholic coz the school i was in is a catholic school, i like the hymes fr time to time though...*but i have cramps sitting for too long* and the story about christ interested me quite a bit.

buddhism is much like a way of life but buddhists also believe in their gods, like the judge in hell, the buddha etc, i'm not really caught up in these though...the buddhas' names are very confusing due to the form is originated fr india...i cant even remember well. but the most famous tale of buddhism is "the journey to the west", when a monk travels to india with 3 disciples to collect scriptures & to salvage the people.

There is a difference between Christians and Catholics....at least when it comes to my grandma, anyways.
She's Catholic and she believes that I'm going to hell because I'm Christian (or so she thinks I am) and Christians "lazy" when it comes to God.
Err...thanks Grandma?
Well, I'm not really Christian. I'm just at that point in my life where I don't really have anything to believe in...even if I do go to church every Sunday...er...but they pay me. Haha, I look after the babies and toddlers during the service.....
The Sunday school teacher knows how I feel about religion so she's made it her life's duty to get me "more envolved" with the church, even if I don't want to.
Blah. I've got nothing against religion. In fact, I admire people with such dedication to their lord/god/beliefs. But it's just not for me.

Religion is always such a deep topic. Many religions are branches off of each other, so they are quite the same.

I was raised in the church of Christ, but there are times when I wonder if Christianity is really for me.  Sometimes I feel like giving up my religion, but if I did that my family would be very angry at me, especially my grandparents who are the overly-strict "The Lord won't bless you with children if you don't go to church three times a week!" type (yes, they even said that to one of my relatives once because she didn't go to church anywhere).  If I did drop out of my church, I would have to drop out of Christianity all together because I don't think there's any other church out there I would feel comfortable going to because I was raised to believe that I shouldn't do a certain popular religious practice (which I won't mention here for the sake of on-topicness and to not offend anybody) that most other churches do, and I don't think I could ever get used to doing that if I was to convert to some other church, so religion is a confusing topic for me right now.
When her leathery, crow-footed face turned towards my raised hand and said, “Yes, the boy in the Sailor Mercury t-shirt,” I sprung into action. It took me a brief 20 seconds to acquire the bokken (wooden sword) I had secured to the underside of our chairs with duct tape the night previous. Shouting “Japan BANZAIII!” in the manner of those noble kamikaze pilots from the War of United States Aggression (so tactlessly referred to in your history books as “World War II”), I charged the stage, bringing down the bokken forcefully onto the plywood table in front of Tiffany Grant. It was a tragic mistake not to channel my ki correctly. The bokken splintered into a thousand pieces, leaving me with no other plan of attack besides shouting, “You’re no Asuka!” as two Ohayocon toughs escorted me out of the room-SomethingAwful.com

Personally, I don't really agree with religion. I think it moulds a lot of people, and often cuts off their personal development as a person, because they're given a set of rules to follow from a very young age....

But I don't have a prob with people believing in god/gods....
