Hehe I noticed me and a friend of mine Ashlee where talking about harry potter in pm's and I thought it'd be easier to make a thread about it so everyone can join!!

Here is my view so far:

Snape kills dumbledore, but I think he only did it to save malfoy and maybe thats what snape was talking about and arguing over with dumbledore about how he didnt want to kill him, and if snape wasnt on our side, than why didnt he kill harry all those times he had the chance to? Do you think harry is going to return to Hogwarts, what do you think is waiting in the seventh book?

Dumbledore and snape, work together to save malfoy. But also I think, that there was a different plan. Because when snape killed dumbledore, dumbledore was really scared. So I think there was a plan, but it change

I honestly think Snape and Dumbledore didn't agree on the whole killing thing beforehand. I think at that moment Snape was working on the bad guy side, though I'm not entirely sure his intentions were evil.

I think Harry will go back to school, but not for an education. Dumbledore's office and things were there, and Harry might need them to figure out the locations of the remaining horcruxes. I don't believe he'll spend the majority of his time there.

What I am the closest to certain about is that Harry is a horcrux.

-Dumbledore said himself that Voldemort was probably planning on making a horcrux when he killed Harry, so Voldy would have been performing the spell for a horcrux at the appropiate moment.

-Voldemort had just killed two people, so his soul would have been properly severed.

-It has been noted several times throughout the books that Harry has this weird connection to Voldemort. He can sense Voldemort's thought and feelings, he has visions through Voldemort's perspective, he inherited some of Voldemort's powers, and so on. And no one can seem to explain this connection. Dumbledore even says "Unless I'm much mistaken, he transferred some of his own powers into you the night he gave you that scar. Not something he intended to do, I'm sure..." to which Harry replies, "Voldemort put a bit of himself in me?"

-The prophesy said that Voldemort would select the person to be his rival, and the only person capable of killing him. This makes sense if that person becomes a horcrux, because only the person with a bit of Voldemort's soul would be the one capable of making Voldemort mortal.

Because of this, I would not be surprised at all if Harry ends up having to kill himself in order to destroy Voldemort. In fact, I'm almost positive Harry will die in the end of the series.

If Harry does not die, however, I think it may be because of clever use of the Dementor's and their terrifying Kiss. They do suc.k out your soul...if the dementors could somehow suc.k out Voldemort's soul, but not Harry's, in an attempt to Kiss Harry, I think that would be a reasonable solution. (Though in all honestly, I just think Harry is going to die).

wow Time-Machine, you said my whole theory right there.  I do belive that harry is going to die. That is mine theory. the 7th book is going to be the last one. JK said it herself.

yea but I heard rumors that she is going to make nine books?!? do you think thats true, and wouldnt you want to know what happens to harry after he graduates hogwarts, i mean wouldnt he get married or something? and has anyone heard the name of the new book yet?

Well, I would like to see more books if he won. But here is a site my crazy brother uses to get all of information. http://www.mugglenet.com/. It has information on Hagrid's half-brother, Grawp. It also has some but not a lot of information on the 7th Book. Also, the site is pretty good with their information.

wow, yea I saw that site a number of times, did you know the J.K.Rowling is richer than the Queen of England now? she used to be poor, and since she made the books her wealth sky rocketed xD and now she can take care of her kids and give them anything they could ever want, I also think that if we bug her enough she might make atleast 8 or 9 books thats just a rumor though.

Oh and what do you think the last few items for the parts of Valdemorts soul's are? dont we still need something from Gryfindor and such?

OH man. I don't have my Hp book here so I'm doing this from memory:

1st Locket of Slytherin
2nd Note book of Voldemort
3rd Helga Hufflepuff's Cup
4th The Gaunt Ring
5th An item of Rowena Ravenclaw's or an item of Godric Gryffindor's.
                  to me its more likely a item from Ravenclaw
6th Nagini, the snake
7th Harry

oh wow, yea I kinda figured the snake would be one, but harry? how could that be, I mean it would exsplain why he would eventually die -. -

But you see, when the prophesy was talking about harry, Voldemort went to kill James for the sacurfice (bad speller here) for the horcrux, but lilly stand up too, so two sacurfices were made. Then Voldemort was going to use Harry as the last horcrux, knowing that if he was to every die, then he can use Harry. so when putting the horcrux into Harry, Lilly spell help harry not to die, but Voldemort was hit very badly. So not only did Harry get the horcrux, but a bit of Voldemort powers.

So now if harry going to distroy all the horcrux so Voldemort can die. He is going to have to kill himself. Because Voldmort can come back to life if Harry is still alive. But then, Dumbledore might have done something to help Harry in the future. This is just my idea....

We are the only ones really talking in this thread. Come on girls, and guys! Its Harry Pothead!

hehe yea, I see what you mean about the huxcrux or however you spell it, but if harry dies, he's the main character it would be a tragedy ;  ; and what about Harry and Ginny together? I wanted to see them get married and everything, and maybe dumbldore saved harry in some way, I'm hoping that there is a way for harry to defeat dumbldore, oh and what about Sirius coming back? do you think he'll come back to life?

Sirius is dead. Is is not coming back, and the same for dumbldore. They are not coming back. But ya it would be cool if harry lives though all of this. And it would be cute for harry and ginny to get marry. Lets say he does live though all of this this he will become a teacher at the school, or the headmaster. I can see that happening. Becasue that is his home. Hermionie and Ron are getting married.

P.S I think we have to wait until some one else post something. I think there is a rule on this. Is there. *runs to rulebook*

Ron and Hermione are going to get married (even if the idea is only implied) and if Harry doesn't die, he'll end up with Ginny, which is cute. I admire Ginny, she's a pretty strong role model. One of my favourite characters, actually. I think she's one of the few females in the series strong enough to deserve Harry.

  I always cry when I'm reminded of that. Poor Sirius. I broke the kitchen table after reading that he died. It literally collapsed. And when Dumbledore died, I cried so much that I could barely read the book through my tears. Book six was by far better than book five, but I'm so upset that Dumbledore died!

I had guessed Dumbledore was going to die, and still cried like a little baby. I couldn't stop crying for the life of me. It took me weeks to get past it, everywhere I went I just wanted to be like "DUMBLEDORE'S DEAD" and then sit in a corner.

I was only able to get over it by reminding myself that

a) It's a book.
and
b) I could now call my cousin and gloat. (He had sworn on his life that Dumbledore would not die. I told him that Dumbledore probably would. We made a bet, and he swore he would be so upset if Dumbledore died that he would stop reading the instant he was killed. I got $10 out of him, and he was wrong, he kept reading. )
