Much difference?

I've only ever seen the Cardcaptors version of the first movie -_- I wanna know what I'm missing...is there much storyline difference between the Cardcaptor Sakura and the Cardcaptors versions?

In all actuality, the movie is almost identical to the Japanese version. Granted some of the words and lines are changed, but no moments were cut out. I hate to admit it, but the English version is almost as good as the Japanese.

Well I personally think the voices were better in Japanese but like moezy-chan said, there is pretty much no difference.

Yes; the voices were the only thing I didn't like about the movie. Besides that, I did like it. Confusing. @_@

No difference, expect what was mentioned. I personally like the japanese. The voices are better, the english just makes me clinge. With the english voices, they're personalities are different somehow.. like Tomoyo's, for example. Of course thats pretty much the same as the series.

The music. -_- I didn't like the music. The one playing when Sakura was boarding on the plane just didn't fit with me.

mmm I wondering where can I find that 1st movie.. I saw it in japanese and in subs in spanish (I love it *-*) but I'm very curious xD I listened that they're pretty similar ... I want to prove it o.0

Hmm... I thought they changed it a little in terms of story? In which the lady that was after Clow Reed in the Cardcaptors version was angry that Clow Reed rejected her offer on ruling the world, and then Clow Reed imprisoned her there. Whereas for the Japanese version... I can't quite remember... I'll get back on that. I know there were a few changes between the two.

And as for the music for Cardcaptors version of the movie... there were some I liked, some I didn't. But all in all Cardcaptors did a good job for the movie... for me. @_@

To me,the Japanese version of it is the best than English version if compare their voices!!! :hehe:

Ah, not much difference just like the members above me said. I think the only major difference is the music, songs and voices. The English version uses the same music and songs from the CC TV series (apart from "tell me" cos I don't think they have used it in the CC TV series), where as the Japanese version has composed more music and songs which is unque to the movie. I guess you will know about the voices so I will not rant about it lol.
