Well, in order to surprise the girl I'm going with to a convention next year, I'm trying to decide which uniform to buy.. problem is.. there all KawaiiÂ

I can't decide which to choose!!! (all I'm after at the long sleeve ones)

oh! Here are links ^_^

High School Uniform Top (Summer type, long sleeve)
or
High School Uniform Top (Winter type, long sleeve)

The only problem is that the size's are for females only >_< (To be honest, I've yet to see any males actually wear this to a convention, I've been to several, not actually attending them, I go there for photo-ops.. I just want to be different and wear this! ^_^) but... errr... all size's femaleÂ

but I'm sure I'll find a way to get that out ^_^

Anywho, which do you people think? (And.. how do I go about comparing a male size to a female size? After all, I wanna surprise my friend when I see her, cause I know she'll goÂ

on meÂ

)

Summer definatly!!
It looks so much more classic

plus i love White.

but they are Female because they are Girls clothes, teh Boy school uniforms look different. Unless your going crossdressed?

Crossdressing isn't a problem for me (Before all of you raise an eye-brow, know this: The threater club I was in back in High School ALWAYS had us crossdress, female top and boys bottom, or boys top and female bottom *BOYS DO NOT LOOK GOOD IN SKIRTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was the only thing I hated about the club) although they always had the right size's, so it wasn't a problem.. here I can't seem to get the size's down pat! >_<

The pants are dark..... blue I believe... so the other one would fit

However, I am thinking of "probably" buying the white one sometime later on (Ok, so I'm obsessed with the look

)

What about the size's though? Anyone have any suggestions on handling that?

If those are childrens' sizes, then I would suggest getting a small in womens. If that's for an adult size then I would suggest a large.

They are both kawaii, yet very expensive.

I like the white one better, but if your going to use it as a cosplay, think about the weather and it may help you decide lol

When's the convention going to be held? If it's going to be held during the spring or summer, then the white uniform would be the best, but if it's being held during the fall or winter, then black would be better because black is more of a fall/winter color. Though, personally I like the black one the best just because I like darker colors better. I kind of wish I could buy it, too. ^^;;

In this case, then I would go with the white colored one because white is more of a Mayish color to me than black is. It would also make you look more like an authentic Japanese schoolgirl because I believe they also switch over to the white colored uniforms around the spring/summer time as well.

Kasawa, from what I understand, June 1st is the official day they switch to
the Summer uniform, and October 1st is the day they switch to the Winter
uniform.

Kyaaa, that's really hard... Ok, here's some pros and cons:
White top:
Pros: It will stand-out more because of the contrast of the sailor part and the shirt being such different colors, more people will probably recognize it right away, it'll probably be hot if the convention is in May.
Cons: It'll stain more easily if you guys are eating! =D

Black top:
Pros: Stains won't show up! XD Aaaand, I personally like black, and like Sakaki-sama said, in Japan, they might still be wearing that one at the time you're at the con ((Though I don't think it should change your decision TOO much, because I don't know how many people will know that/be picky about that for cosplay))
Cons: Didn't you say your pants were blue? Cuz I dunno if it'll match...

LOL, I'm obviously thinking waaay too much into this... Sorry... And you wanna know something funny? I wanted to buy the men's uniform from that same site! XD But it was so expensive..

I think the summer one looks much better.....even if the dates for changing the uniform don't fit in with your convention, I'd still go with the summer, as it looks better!
