Did you like the anime end better or manga ending for CCS?

I liked the manga ending for CCS much much better than the anime. but i still really liked the anime too. Just when syaoran came back after a while and suprised Sakura.. ahh so lovely! I love syaorna so very much..

Aaah! That's a hard question...both of the endings are SO kawaii! *squeals* But if I had to choose one, I guess I'd say the Manga ending. *coughgrown-up Syaoran!!!cough*

That's a hard one. I mean I like the anime better than the manga, but if I had to choose, I do like the manga ending better. I got my closure with that one. I need closure. Pardon the pun, but they didn't leave anything hanging. That's includes Sakura! Still, the anime ending was much funnier though. But manga first.

I'd say the manga ending. But I also liked the anime ending, too. Yet the manga ending was sweet and.. I just love it! ^w^

I know I'll probably get killed for saying this, but personally I thought the manga's ending was a little bit cheesy. Everything was almost just too perfect. If they didn't show that epiloge part with Shaoran returning as a teenager, I would have liked it more, but because they did I liked the anime's ending better. There's just something about that scene where Sakura runs towards Shaoran shouting out "I love you!" that gets you excited, you know? And having the series being a little more open ended makes for interesting message board discussions and fanfics because it makes you want to speculate what happens next.

Everything was pretty much answered in that version.
The anime ending (both the movie and the series) kind of left me wondering...

I actually would have to agree with Takato on this. I thought the manga's ending was almost watered down and kind of strengthed its believability. Although, it still was pretty good, but it was almost anti-climatic compared to the rest of story in my opinion.

But I've always been a fan of open-ended stuff. I like how the fans have more options in their fanfics and stuff, so I guess I just liked the open endedness of the anime.

I adore both endings, but I would have to go with the manga ending since SÃ—S hugged and were happily together forever

There are 2 CCSakura sets out now in the U.S.

The original which was smaller and done American comic book style and the re-release by TokyoPop done the traditional manga style with all the original artwork intact. The new books can be bought seperate or in two 3-book sets with bookcase covers to hold all 6 books. Those cost $29.99 a set.

The other books (originally $9.99 each) can be found cheap on eBay. Bought my set for about $25 awhile back on there

Definitly manga. I dunno, I was statisfied with the anime ending... in manga, it was just so... cute... it melt my heart away. Anime's ending didn't have that effect on me...

Depends.

Some wants a closure, Manga does that.

Others want to have many possibilities, Anime does that.

anime ending 'cause when void was captured and syaoran was 'attacked'
she told him she loved him and when he said nothing my heart stopped

*i was like NNOOOOO!!!! Void erased his memory!* and she started crying and
stuff and when he responded and said her name i was even more happy and
relieved than Sakura.

And then the jump....it is a classic

the manga ending is very good as well but i go for anime

Pretty hard question...ne but I like the both ending of CCSakura 'cause in manga,it have long line but have broad possibility of good ending but in anime,even though it have neutral storyline but a satisified and awesome ending!!!!

My biggest gripe about the anime was that they removed one of the most important plot pieces ::

of Fujitaka being the other half of Clow's reincarnation, and since he fell asleep under Eriol's spell they removed any possibility of it being real in the animeverse

::Â That killed the end of the anime for me.Â But I did like the second movie, too.Â The manga was beautiful, and I loved the ending so I suppose that wins.

I think that the anime ended well for the anime and the manga ended well for the manga.Â The manga ending may have seemed less climatic, but the anime had more action in it anyway (52 cards compared to 19).Â The manga had less action anyway, so the ending was more suitable.

I suppose my ultimate ending would be an addition to the second movie!Â Sakura should realise that Syaoran's visit in Japan is near it's end, rush to make him a teddy bear and run to the bus stop to give it to him (whilst Meilin and Tomoyo fawn in the bus and bushes respectively!).Â Then they can have the reunion as teenagers!Â (Of course, that doesn't change that they removed the spoiler aboveÂ

I liked the Manga a tad more. I'm not exactly sure why. I've always found I like mangas more compared to animes.
I loved the anime ending, don't get me wrong. I just thought that the movie wasn't especially neccesary except for getting S&S together.

The mange ending.. coz in the CCS Movie "The sealed card", sakura-chan jumped to Syaoran-kun and said "I LOVE YOU!!!"... she hasn't been able to hug syaoran-kun coz Ashita e no Merodii already played... it was like * I LOVE YOU!!! [jumps] todokete kono koe wo...* (right?) annoying!! But ofcourse it's obvious that they hugged at the last part... The manga ending is cute... much much much much better than the anime ending...

I agree! The manga ending was much more sweeter. Very adorable as well. I practically squealed when I saw the picture of S+S hugging.
