Plot: Recently being adopted, little Syaoran now travels with Fujitaka.....

Characters:
-Syaoran: Okamirei
-Fujitaka: Oniichantouya

Syaoran dragged his suitcase with him...one almost the same size as him.
They were in Germany...a place foreign enough for him to be lost. He desperately tried to follow behind Fujitaka; bumping into people on his right side. "Fujit---otoosan.."
He stumbled and tripped, falling flat onto the ground.

Fujit---otoosan.. Fujitaka turned around smiled, and calmly went back to retrieve his son.Â He crouched on the ground, and put him on his feet again.Â "Becareful Syaoran.Â Do you want me to hold the suitcase instead?Â It wont be long.Â We'll be at the hotel soon enough.Â He said kindly.

Syaoran looked into the man's kind brown eyes. They were ones that had made himself trust him in the first place.
He shook his head. "I can carry it. Otoosan already has many things to carry."
Looking around, he peered at the strange taxi waitng for them, slightly intimidated by the driver in the front. After helping Fujitaka load their luggage, he sat down closely beside his father, holding tightly onto Fujitaka's sleeve as he gazed outside.

Smiling, and his eyes shining he held his son's hand, and whispered to him, "Amazing isnt it? I have always wanted to come here, and now I can share it with you. Trust me Syaoran, nothing bad will happen here okay?" He looked at the driver and said " The nearest hotel please" -In german.
After a couple of hours, Fujitaka dozed off.

Syaoan nodded, though doubted the thought. Nothing good had happened in the past until Fujitaka came...why would nothing bad not happen now?
He peered out the window, his eyes full of curiousity as he looked at Germany's dark night streets.
After a while, he rubbed his eyes, tiredness overcoming him. Seeing his father asleep, he laid his head upon Fujitaka's lap, breathing in content as he slowly dozed off.

Fujitaka opened his eyes, and smiled briefly at his son still sleeping. He gazed outside at Germany's night sky, and saw the hotel loom into view. The cab stopped, and he gently shook his son awake. "We're here now, so we can actually get a decent night's sleep." He payed the driver, and stepped outside.

Being gently shaken awake, Syaoran opened and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He nodded quietly after Fujitaka spoke, following him out of the taxi.
Dragging his suitcase slowly behind him, he shuffled behind Fujitaka; trying hard not to fall again.

As Fujitaka checked into the hotel, he grinned at his son half awake. He gently picked him up and grabbed his son's suticase and took the elevator up. As they got to the 5th floor, he opened the door and put Syaoran on the bed. Fujitaka then changed clothes and went to sleep next to his son.

The next day, Fujitaka had not woken up yet at the time he set the alarm clock.

-Beep, beep, beep-

Syaoran opened his eyes, finding himself laying next to Fujitaka on a large bed. Seeing his father still asleep, he got up turned off the clock. He pulled away the curtains..looking outside the window to the bustling streets outside. A flame of excitement sparked inside him while he gazed at the sight.
He went down to the lobby, coming back with a cup of coffee and some milk for himself. Setting the coffee down, he sat upon the bed sipping his milk quietly while he watched his father sleep...unwanting to disturb him.

Fujitaka woke up moments later, a little suprised to see his 7 year old son awake before him. He picked up his glasses from the night stand, and walked toward his son and put a hand on his shoulder. "Beautiful isn't it little one?" "But today, we are going to a place called the "Devil's Embankment" His eyes shone when he said it. "And I see you are already dressed! Well give me a moment, and we'll head down as soon as possible." At that he went to the restroom and changed clothes and washed his face, and the other morning nessecites

Syaoran blinked curiously as he listened to Fujitaka; watching his father walk into the restroom with the door closing behind him.
He sipped his milk, his wide brown eyes watching the door, waiting for him to come back out.
Devil's Embank-u-ment?

A child at the age of seven, he could only guess what a 'devil's embankment' is.

Fujitka came out of the restroom ready to go.Â "Are you ready Syaoran?"Â If you are let's go!"Â At that, he quickly packed his items and picked up the suitcase.Â He then smiled, walked over to his son and picked him up.Â And walked to the door. In one hand he held a map and their luggage, in his other his son. In his exitement he nearly dropped everything going down the stairs.

"Wa!"
Syaoran cried out as he tripped down the stairs with the luggage. He got up, rubbing the bruise on his head. He would have to remember not to go down the stairs first next time.
Picking up the fallen map, his wide brown eyes stared curiously at the details drawn upon it.

"Oof! Sorry about that Syaoran!" Are you alright? Whats that you got in your hand?" He gently took the map and looked at it. "Ah, this is the way to the Devil's Embankment. Now, on the other side, (he flipped it over) Is how it looks like. There aren't any mysteries here, but I thought you'd like to go and see. Germany has an amazing history little one."

Syaoran nodded. As Fujitaka called for another taxi, his brown eyes grew wide in wonder.
Watching the sights passing by them through the window, he felt his heart flutter strangely. What was this feeling?

Hours passed by when they at last reached their destination.

"Wah.." he whispered, staring at the immense Roman buildings.

Fujitaka stretched. The journey had been a long one, but now he was eager to start. "Now let's see where we have to go..." he murmured. He took Syaoran's hand and they were off. 15minutes later, they were hoplessly lost. "I swore I drew the map right!" he grumbled.

Syaoran looked up at his father's frustrated face. "Ne, what's wrong, otoosan?"
He looked around, the old building walls seemed as if they could crumble any moment. He clutched Fujitaka's sleeve, peering at the map.

Syaoran blinked. "Lost?"
Regarding their surroundings, they surely did look lost. He pointed at a immense man not far away.
"...Why not ask him where we are, Otoosan?"
