*sigh* It just lets you sit there and imagine the wonderful life Sakura and Syaoran before them... Having dates, proposing, meeting the families again, getting married, having children, telling their kids they're powerful magicians and that one day they'll inherit the Li clan and the Sakura card... General freak out...

aww, i agree with you, Cardwitch! that ending immediately sprung up the question of 'what happens next?' it was a cute ending though. i loved how syaoran was there ready to catch sakura with open arms... =3

and the idea of them falling down the stairs is perfect!

I was upset by the ending a little bit, but that's when I turn to fanfics. My current favorite, The Attractive Power gives a great scenario on what happened afterwards. Don't know if this is off topic, but the fanfic can be found at:

I do like the end but.... not completly... i mean, sometimes its cool to leave things to the imagination, but in this case i would have liked something more "concrete"

... like a kiss or something

. Maybe even a "flashfoward" (if such a thing exist!!!

) were we could know exactly what happen to the caracthers... did syaoran and sakura get marry? do they have kids? and other stuffs like that...

Still... at the end, it was a nice ending

Well, my reaction was pretty much "NO, What happens next?!", and I was craving for more. However, like many have you said, its for our imagination to decide. Well, after being dissapointed for sometime ~~actually angry~~ I asked myself what would've happened, I mean, they are 12 year olds, I bet you nothing much wouldn't have happened to be honest XD Maybe they could've hugged, however, I'd perfer the suggestion giving about falling down the stairs, that would've been cute XD

I think in the long run, the ending was okay, it wasn't perfect, but I couldn't have come up with something that in character, ya know

the end was horrible i was specting a kiss or at least one hug, but nothing happened.
ok i'm fine no kiss ok i can acept that but not even a hug
what kind of ending was that, how could this be the ending of Sakura and Syaoran if nothing happened.. i was so angry when i saw the movie.

Well, it's the Japanese way to leave them hanging in the air, quite literally. I doubt Sakura and Syaoran would kiss but a hug might be necessary for Syaoran to keep Sakura from falling.

And after thinking about it, I guess aishiteru and Cardwitch are right. Touya would have come and separated the "kaijuu" from the "gaki" and of course Tomoyo would have been there to film it and present to all of Tomoeda at the Nadeshiko Festival in reconciliation for the cancelled play...

i never thought of tomoyo her film to everyone at the festival. that's gooood!

i also got kind of angry.. the whole movie waiting and waiting-- for nothing!! no kiss no hug no nothing

hehe.. but s&s moments are always perfect (and cutee!

) so i managed to overcome my anger

The ending? Nah, I don't like it that much.

You know, they can make a better ending. Like, when Sakura jumps to hug Syaoran, why did the movie ended at that time??! bah, they should at least let Sakura hugs Syaoran tightly and let them have their kiss! XD Ne? That'll make the movie more attractive and interesting. ^____^

Well, you get the idea.Â

I wanted them to hug really badly!!!!!!!! I thought about going to Japan and force clamp to make and extra chapter or something were we would see the SS stuff I was waiting for at the end!!!!!!!!!!Â

I know what you mean, I really though my dvd had cutted down the real ending or something, but it turns out it WAS the ending..........

oh well, the only thing that will make me forgive clamp for that is that we get a really nice ending in Tsubasa

TBH I found the ending satisfactory. Yes, would have been good to have a hug et al, but I rather like the understated ending. From what I heard from above posts, it seems like people will only be satisfied when they have a wedding and / or baby scene stuck in the ending... O_O

Even before I had watched the second movie, I had seen tons of screenshots and pretty detailed summaries of the movie since I thought it would never come to North America. *Y'know with Nelvana being against everything that has to do with the true CCS

Plus I was a stupid little kid at that time and didn't know what the beautiful future held

Well anyway, by doing that, I totally ruined the movie for myself when I did get to watch it

Â Still, I wasn't prepared for the ~~hanging-in-mid-air~~ ending because I'd seen the pic of S+S hugging in their Movie 2 outfits and had expected that to be the ending. How I was disappointed. I swear I was gaping at the screen for so long after Sakura jumped off the bridge and the credits came up. I was so incredulous! I even convinced myself while the credits were rolling down that they were gonna hug after they were done >_<Â Boy, how wrong could I be!

I started asking my friend (who had kindly rented the movie for us to watch) whether she'd gotten the full version of the movie or not. Frankly, she told me that no scenes were cut from the movie and that that was the official ending. *Well, you can imagine my face after that - O.O*

Yup, so basically the least I was expecting from my kawaii S+S was a tender hug at the end. Trust me, for that movie I needed nothing more but a hug to make me happy~ So, I was indeed quite disappointed with the ending

Â Â Well, at least the rest of the movie was overflowing with S+S... Mou...I really miss CCS Movie 2
