This should probably go into the other anime and manga thread if so.
And if you do mean cardcraptors, then no, there shouldn't be any more episodes in my opinion. In fact, there shouldn't have been any episodes at all.

And I agree with you 100% on that :wink:
As far as the CCSakura series as a whole...it was meant to have a definitive start and definitive ending to it. As much as I'd like to see new episodes of Sakura and Syaoran as they grow older and the changes that take place in their future, it could undermine and take away from the special magic that was the 70 episodes and two movies of Cardcaptor Sakura :)

I thought you were talking about more CCS eps dubbed into Card Captors so I voted "yes". Seems a shame they stopped 4 eps before the end or something. :sweatdrop:
But if you mean a continuation of CCS story, well it is continuing in xxxHolic and Tsubasa to a degree (got a feeling they'll show up sooner or later with the Clow connection) but I would love to see Sakura in a story not attatched to her powers! She's the most powerful wizard in the world... what does she do with that power???

I wouldn't want to see a continuation of CCS. When a series ends, there's usually a good reason for it. Everything in CCS was fully-resolved, all the Clow Cards were captured and transformed, and Sakura has become the Master of the Clow. There's not much else you can do with the show. Even if you wanted to see more Sakura x Shaoran scenes, it would be hard to come up with some sort of new threat that Sakura has to stop. And sequels are rarely ever as good as the original. CCS is already perfect as it is. Why would you want to risk ruining the series by producing new episodes that might not be as good as the original? Like the old saying goes, "if it's not broke, don't try to fix it."

I voted No, I wish it was never dubbed, they should of just subtitled it and just left it at that. If it was never dubbed, I bet you I wouldn't be so peeved whenever someone mentions CC *cringes*
IMHO, CCS shouldn't have been touched, it would have been better to subtitle it, so yeah, no CC episodes for me. XD

For CCS, as other said, it had definite ending. Adding more will just mess up the good ending.
As for Cardcaptors... I heard about how bad it was.... so no...

I use to like Cardcaptors... but that was before I discovered the true series and found out about how much they cut out from the original. Now... I hate it and only watch the original CCS, because its just better. >>;

Well I think they should thrown away CardCaptors and forget about it, and start dubbing CardCaptor Sakura!!! Now that would be a great idea, and also let CCS fans chose the actors for the dubbing, since they kinda were not so good choosing them, or at least use the actors from the sealed card version....

similar moonprincess18 because I first saw CCS with the dub in Spanish in Cartoon Network (It's similar to the original in japanese.. only there are some mistakes of dubbing.. But it is a minimal change in comparison of what Nelvana dis with Cardcaptors)

I think that anime that goes on forever is quickly forgotten about. It would be nice to see more Cardcaptor Sakura (it's an anime that became almost as big as Pokemon) but when it goes on forever, like Pokemon, you start to think...
Gotta end it soon... right?
It just gets annoying.

I say no because mainly because not many people actually liked cardcaptors
It costs money to dub, but it's more like a waste of money if someone dubs and then we have loads of people hating it!

I think it suffers from a Jar Jar Binks like complex. Most people actually liked the guy but those that didn't were louder than those that did and then everyone thought that everyone hated him.
Most people I know loved Card Captors.... but I think about 90% of the viewers don't get on anime forums and talk about it. Don't confuse what you read online with the real world. :wink:

I think CLAMP could make alot of money if they made another season of CCS as a continuation after The Sealed Card, but it would have to be really good, because most fans really like how the Sealed Card.
I would also love to see the entire Cardcaptor Sakura series completely uncut and dubbed with voice actors from the Sealed Card. They could show it on Adult Swim or something, and I'm sure it would be popular in America.

Oh, God no (no offense). Sakura's VA in the second movie annoyed the Hell out of me (not as much as Tomoyo's though!). All the male characters were spot on though.

OHH YES! sakura's VA annoyed me to hell. i'm sorry if you guys liked her voice but i just got soo annoyed with her that i HAD to switch it back to japanese.

I can't stand Cardcaptors. They butchered Cardcaptor Sakura! It was painful watching Cardcaptors because of all the cuts and bad dubbing they did. When I turned on the tv I watched Cardcaptors for like 5 minutes. I felt like I couldn't breathe and I felt like what I was watching was a disgrace. I quickly shut it off and ran back to the tv with CCS dvds to calm me down. CARDCAPTORS WAS HORRIBLE!! IT S*****!!! We erase everything associated with it and act like it was never made.

I didn't think Cardcaptors was too bad, but what bugged me the most other than the cuts to the storyline was actually the voice acting.
I thought Sakura's dubbed voice in the second movie was cute, although it was a little too unnaturally high-pitched. I hated her voice in Cardcaptors though. She sounded like a 16 year old brat instead of an 11 year old magical girl. Syaoran's voice in Cardcaptors, though was great. But he sounded like a woman in the second movie, though.

I would vote yes! First of all, if the show wasn't brought over here, most of us wouldn't even know about it. Yes, I understand that they changed a lot of stuff and that they killed it, but they basically planted a seed for us over here. If the show was never brought over, I don't think I would have known it existed.
So if some phenomenon caused the writers over here to start writing again, then I wouldn't mind if they continued it. I don't understand why everyone is so opposed to the dubbed version. I mean give it some slack. Sure it was missing a whole bunch, but don't have a cow.
Anyway, I'm going back to surfing the forums, bye ^_^

Yeah, her name is Motoko Kumi and she is a very good voice artist because she does voices of the young/old/girl/boy/robots etc...
ok, moving on swifty to Cardcaptors to get back onto topic I'll say that looking at the poll, the votes for yes and no's are kind of equal.....

Nelvana should have just kept it as it was,and just make the voices have english,or subtitles.
but i do want squels too.
Taking in the relationship with S&S,Chiahru and Yamazaki,etc.
Tsubasa,since i only have the fifth book,i don't understand it till i get the other four.
And to me it's not really like the anime and reguler manga.
I do have a plot for the squel though,dark cards,yes dark cards,don't flame me god!here's a summary.

Cardcaptors was the first thing I saw before I saw CCS and I loved it.
the dub we have in aus is as bad as the american i suppose but they still cut out bits

cardcaptors was my second anime, obviously my fav charater was Yue. im a deprived veiew...i got stuck with nelvana's dubb, tho towards the end, liek the last 6 or 7 eps were alot better. i wish i could see the re-dub and the sub.
