It's a good idea to have that at the top...but personally I think that the box is too big now...it takes away form the actual post topics...I think it was better with just the news bit....
Anyone else agree? :tongue3:

That section is still temporary like I mentioned on another thread. I'm making some changes in the forum..
Personally, I don't think it's really that distracting. I think it takes away the trouble of having to go to the gallery site just to see if there's a new pic. This forum will slowly turn into something like a community once SLi opens up the fanfiction system here. So I just thought that integrating some parts of the gallery in here would also be good.
Anyway, this issue is still up for.. er....debate? So post here what you think? :)

i think it looks alright, its not TOO distracting, just maybe a lil getting used to ?

Yep..I've changed my mind now...I logged on this morning, and didn't notice it until I looked for it....didn't mean to sound like a whiny two year old up there....sorry!

I like it!
It's only on the front/home page, so I don't think it's distracting.
And like Little Wolf said, you don't have to go to the actual gallery site all the time. I like seeing what new pic pops up when I visit the front page.
