Though in all seriousness, do ask my ISP that question, as I stated awhile back,most of the time when I tried to access this site in the past I'd get thrown to an openDNS page or some other page that usually meant the domain either didn't exist or that the server itself couldn't be reached.

Though it seems now I'm having no problems, I guess whatever was wrong with the domain finally cleared up after DJP aquired it. At least I hope anyway, oh well only time will tell, maybe it was a route between me and the CW server ... bleh... internet is a mystery to me sometimes :P Then again, perhaps like DJP said in another thread with how ISP are more about money, perhaps some of them finally fixed their darned servers.

Plus on the bad side, this site is being so badly hit by spammers, I can no longer tell which sign-ups are true and which are junk.

Might rethink my stance on Capatcha (ReCapatcha) if thats what it will take -_-

Registration is now protected by reCAPTCHA. Hope this solves the bot issue while allowing genuine users to sign up.

Approval has been disabled (Return to member activation mode - users must click on link in e-mail to complete registration).

Will watch and see how things go now.

Post by: Kasawa Lanford on October 07 2011, 01:33 pm: ReCapcha won't work overly to well anymore, not since some stupid idiot at a university was able to create a program that basically latches onto ReCapcha, so no human is needed when that is being used on a forum :(

Post by: D.J.P on October 07 2011, 03:46 pm: Seems to work here. Before the forum upgrade with recaptcha enabled was still getting spam registrations (Caught 5 before I closed registration and began the upgrade).

Now no spam registrations since upgrading to 2.0.1.
(and registration works fine - I tested it).

So far I consider it: Me: 1. Spammers: 0 :D
