They're making a movie!!!!

The fact that it's named Movie 1st means more movies are likely *jumps in the air* and it's based on season 1 but a paralel story with new designs and better art/animation offcourse.
the only designchanges that i've found are Nanoha's ribbon got replaced by some sort of cross and they have added pieces of her StrikerS outfit to her dress. I think the new design looks better then the old one :D

Might be interesting.
Just finished watching the first two seasons (don't have the 3rd yet), and I quite enjoyed them.
Will wait and see how this goes :D

Yea, I found this to be interesting - now we just have to wait and see what it is about. But, what do you mean by a 'paralel story' ? ?_?

I'd assume that would mean based on Season 1, but no fitting straight into it.
Kinda like the DBZ Movies operate parallel to the series but aren't officially part of it.

Well thats going to be hard, since Season 1 and Season 2 kind of go hand in hand, I think there was only a one month gap between the two seasons.. so it'd make more logical since for it to be after season two, but we'll find out I guess.

Over half a year passed during MSLN and A's but i've got a feeling they'll make a movie of A's season as well to match the 1st movie in storyline.

Huh? That's strange, because Nanoha is still a third grader in A's (throughout A's) and it's near christmas when A's ends, so it couldn't be a year gap between the two... S1 ends sometime during her third grade year, I'm assuming that because I recall her taking summer vacation during S1, that and because in Japan school starts typically in April.

Yup but her parents said she and Fate were exchanging letters for over half year. strange....

Yea, I found that strange to.. espically since even the series summery claims that not even a year has passed:
A's is set six months after the first series and begins by explaining what has happened in the time between the two series.

Well, I don't even know how such a rumor has ever started to begin with, since if that was really the case, I'm sure 2ch threads would mention about that once or twice.
The article also says that the movie will NOT use any pre-produced animation scenes from TV 1st and will draw everything from scratch.
I'm still waiting for Megami to hit my town, which should be tomorrow, to start on Tsuduki's interviews.
However, several kind souls put up summeries on 2ch and it's something like;

They won't go anymore deeper about TSAB than it was in TV 1st. Since 1st is the story about Nanoha and Fate's friendship, movie will focus more on this aspect.
After going through 3 seasons, background settings have grown far larger. Their new costumes are designed with these settings up to StS in mind."

There's also a rumor floating around that Bardiche has been genderbended....
It appears the movie is going to be a retelling of the original. Good news coz I was a bit worried they would make an entirely new story instead of Fate's tragic past.
Oh and the movie is scheduled for end of this year.
