Well after a long absence the Banner Contest is back. I know I was going to bring it back last month but a trip interstate killed that idea.
I know I pick S&S again, but since I couldn't think of who to use, I just choose them :D
Also the reward is still cookies, but maybe this will change but for now it will do.
Without further ado, the details:
The theme for June is: Sakura & Syaoran (Cardcaptor Sakura)
All banners entered must feature these two characters.
Other Info about the banner:
Image Size: 500 x 100 pixels
Format: JPEG only
Maximum file size: up to 60 KB
Direct entires to contest(at)capturedwings.net (replace (at) with @).
Subject of the email should be: July Calendar Banner Contest
Include in the email your username in the forums so I'd know who the entry is from.
Submissions to be received by the 29th of June 2007 at 11.30PM AEST (1.30PM GMT - 29th) Poll will then be opened for people to vote on submitted banners.
Winner: Will receive 15 cookies, winning banner will be used in the forum's calendar.
Other participants (not including the runner-up winners): Will receive 3 cookies.
Reminder:
This IS a contest so just like before, I will not be accepting banners that look as if they've only been done in 5 minutes. Don't make me think that you only entered the contest just for the cookies.
Take your time in designing the banner. There's no need to rush. (Well, not unless you're reading this just an hour before the deadline!)
Anyway, the point is.. think hard of a good design plan first before you jump right into that photo editor. Who knows...you might just find your banner up in the Calendar this month!

I may have to add a bonus incentive to get more people to participate in the banner contest...like something from my private collection. Stay tuned :greengrin:

Maybe we just need more people who are capable of constructing a banner... they, along with the vast majority of members here, disappeared. XD

No interest at the moment, banner contest in another months time.

Confusion? I know the banner was going to used for June however you posted a close date of June 29th? Did you mean MAY instead? OOOOPS!!!
