has neone heard the opening and ending.. well if u saw the preview and/or promo.. u should have heard the opening theme. it sounds wicked  :hehe: the ending song is really nice too neone else heard it??

i also heard that all music is done by yuki sumthing. i don't remember the name.. but the music she does is really really nice. if neone has watched mai-hime.. she did that music.. and sum other animes but i don't really remember which one.

yeah...I heard the ending song. It's "Loop" by Maaya Sakamoto (singer of Purachina, 3rd op song of CCS). I love it! :D
We can only barely hear the OP song on the preview videos but I think it's a great song as well.

Yuki Kajiura composed the soundtrack. She has made music for other animes too such as .hack//SIGN (one of my faves!), Gundam SEED (another fave! 1st ED song), Madlax, NOIR and yes, My-Hime too.

honto ne?? i didn't no that yuki kajiura did gundam seed.. hehe.. one of my faves too.. .hack//sign HAHA it started airing yesterday where i live.. totally confusing.. but i haven't heard a lot of the music.. but i no that yuki kajiura is really good..

AHHH..no wonder.....when I first heard that first opening song sung by Kinya wutever(haha dun blame me, i bet i'll know later) I thought it was TOTALLY gundam seed-like thing...like the song sounded like a 'TM revolution' performance...and that left me OoO..coz even tho i dun watch gundam seed, i still listen to the tracks...and it sounded SO similar.

And the 'Loop' song, hmmm....i think its a bit of those usual ending theme-clichy thing...no offense. I think it isn't as 'special' and 'memorable' as some other ending songs...like for CCS, I totally remember the tune after listening once...but i dun remember the tune for TRC after listening to it. GAhh..

Hm....i still don't think this song is Maaya's best performance....but i think i'll soon get used to it and fall in love with it.

yea...i can actually imagine them walking towards some sunset or moon or some really paint-artist-looking-background behind their back/or either they're walking towards it.

But see how it turns out...might turn out totally different and i'll be pretty surprised.  :hehe:

oh yea...now i have a different image in my brain....that is totally a great idea. But you never know it might be only Syaoran on one side of the screen and the images of the countries flashing at the back...like different countries, different scenes, memories. hm...we are a bunch of imaginative ppl arent we XD

I was imagining something like the birds-flying-above-them picture, where Sakura brought Syaoran to the top of some building with lots of stairs. That's in the manga.

actually the anime only have 23 epsiodes in total. REALLY. no kidding. But i dunno if there's OVA or whatever. Or whether its only the 1st season....but after the airing of TRC, the airing of CCS 3rd season would come back.

Also, I've read an article and it mentioned that what the anime crew of TRC really wanted is to promote the anime's theme, which is:

'Even though you might not be able to achieve your goal, you still have to strive for it.'

this theme could be proved from Syaoran's goal to get back Sakura's memories...like his bravery, strength, faith...etc. But I'm still kind of wondering whether its really 23 epsiodes, it seems kind of impossible to explain the theme in such short period, plus i'm afraid the ending might not be an 'ending, if you know what i mean, sometimes an anime is different from its manga's ending...example CCS(even though its theme is still the same)...but for TRC anime, I dun think Syaoran would be able to collect the feathers within 23 epsiodes and have a nice ending(syaoran might not manage to get all the feathers, the article kind of hinted something like that)...so i'm just feeling doubtful. Or maybe I have the wrong interpretation. At least i hope i'm wrong with the ending thought.

I'm a bit out of topic in here, so i might transfer this post to somewhere else. XD

They could have an ending theme of flashbacks from the episode.. like, one pic of Syaoran on the side, a few flashbacks, then switch to Sakura on the side, a few flashbacks, and so on.

They could tell us more about Sakura and Syaoran when they were younger...like starlique said. Lodes of Sakura's memories!

oo really 23 epis?? i thought it was 26 haha.. since 26 is also a common #.. o well.. b/c i read off sumwhere that CCS season 3 is gonna start airing again in october after tsubasa ends.. and then i counted the # of weeks or saturdays of wen tsubasa was gonna air.. and there's 26 weeks until the 1 week of october..

well, if it's really only gonna be 26 episodes then the answer to that is Yes. If there's a new season then there'll be new songs. :)

But you know that rule of sticking to the same ending throughout? i found one exception. Just one. Angelic Layer; the same opening played throughout, but they had 13 episodes of one ending, Starry Sky, and the other 13 of the second ending, Ame Agari.

since the mentioning of syaoran's VA... the soft bgm reminds me of DNAngel...  the more up beat ones remind me of .HACK//SIGN ...  that part when sakura was in the ancient ruins standing when syaoran saw her... she looked like that princess from .HACK.. i forgot her name...

The first time I watched Episode 1, the opening was like "Oh, OK. 'Blaze' right?" It didn't really sound good. But then, wehen I watched the ep over and over again, it sounded really nice. Lol. I like the "insert" music too.

I was thinking....maybe it's possible that there are different types of music in different worlds? Like for example, in Clow Kingdom it's arabianish (LOL) type while if its in Hanshin, it's like modern or something?

Well in Celes, it also sounds Arabianish too while in old Japan, it sounded more....err....dramatic? o.O; Maybe Hanshin will sound more modern.

dont need to freak out daisukidayo123~ :P i'm singaporean too, juz use bittorrent to dl fr DB or wait for kancho's fansub~ :D

if they'd to change music every different countries they go, won't the OST (if they are going to release) be 2-3 cds~? :P i wonder if this is the right place & if i'm juz over my head but i hope that there'll be drama cds too~ :D or if there'll be image songs....~~

have you guys heard the song near the ending where shugo shows his kudan? WOW! i like that song! it starts out with one vocal.. and then comes another... and then.. harmonizing! i was amazed at how peoples are so talented at singing... that's like... 4/5 different parts sung at the same time!! in my choir class.. we've only done 3 only... and if that sounds nice... WOW!! this tsubasa reservoir chronicle song sounds better! ^-^ i'm just listening to that part again and again..

[edit] well... actually.. i listened to it again.. and there was the melody and one harmonizing at first.. and then a separate part comes in... which made it sound nicer!

I managed to get my hands on the Japanese lyrics of Blaze and realised that the translators in the anime made a lot of mistakes. @.@ Okay, maybe I could be wrong... but here's my take on the full version of Blaze:

Loop is quite good, I mean, I'm not a big Maaya fan or anything, but I think this song is better than some of her other songs, because I didn't like some that she has done before. However, Loop totally made a nice catchy tune for the ending. I also really like Blaze by Kinya Kotani. I mean, I'm also not a fan of his, but his Blaze song really has got me addicted, and fits with the anime OP.

It's true that the first OST is coming out in June, but I think the 2nd one is just speculation.  I've seen some Korean sites also put up that date, so maybe it's been posted somewhere else that the rest of us aren't aware of.

At first I wasn't so interested with the opening song...like it sounded so gundam seed-ish but now I kinda grew into it....its pretty kewl and I can't wait for the OST of TRC anime....but sometimes I think the in some scenes they got this bg chorus and it sounded completely weird....

Since this is a comparatively small-scale anime, I don't think they'll have a lot of CDs, like GS. Maybe they'll have two OSTs, and one or 2 special CDs. :) I think if we have further information, people will post it here :)

After hearing it, I had to research the singer and then download a ton of his other songs. He has the most awesome voice!
If you want to hear another really good one by him while you wait for Blaze, you should download In The Moonlight.

Yay :D The Blaze single is out today :) Wonder how good will it be on Oricon? I heard Loop was ranked #27 in the charts. Hope Blaze would do better If anyone has a version of Blaze single (possibly ripped) BEFORE LW, please post in the links board :) Then we can share the music ASAP.

I love the music completely!  The soundtrack of this anime just keeps getting better and better.  I can't wait for the release of the first OST.  And I see that there is a second one for August!  whaaaaaa!!!!  I'm so excited.  And good that I found yesasia, 'cause they have the soundtracks cheaper than amazon, that's good for my poor pocket.

My sister and I just love Loop, and we sing along whenever we put it in the car (people just stare at us, it's so funny!)

Yep.  its confirmed that the Blaze CD single will release on June 22nd.  Here's a small but cute picture of Syaoran and Sakura.  Its a poster that comes along with the CD.  So cute...I preordered mine already!  ^^;

Hey I just a found a wonderful website it have the insert songs!! But you can't download it it is just for online listening. It is in chinese. It is a trial version of the CD to be released I believed. The insert song is less than a min . Note: Firefox can't support it.

In case you can't read Chinese: 羽翼TV版插曲 means tsubasa anime insert song - followed by its name. so just clicked on the links a small window will popped out. TSUBASA翼主题曲 means the opening song (Blaze). TSUBASA翼片尾曲 is the ending (loop)

I'm specifiaclly looking for "fye's theme" (If you may let me call it that) - it's first played when Fye is introduced sealing that person in the pool of water in his homeland. He still has his tatoo then. It's always played whenever Fye does something solo. ANd I LOVE IT!

Actually I knew it was somewhere on this same thread already and just scanned through the pages.
I think someone who's from animelyrics.com posted it, but I haven't seen it on that site yet.

I only know translation for the first part, but I'm not sure how accurate it is.

I too am having trouble downloading Blaze from the CW server.
It will only load on a page. Then if you right click it downloads a page, not the song.

I'll try one of the other links that were mentioned above!

The OST is not in stores until July (correct date), so, no music from the TRC OST is available in the internet.. yet. The song you mention, Okamirei, is part of the Card Captor Sakura soundtrack. Not Tsubasa´s.

okay last post honestly ^^*

just my thoughts...
I'm really dissapointed with "strange names" it seems that the best part of it was the start. the rest of it is standard enough.
however I've grown seriously found of "I talk to the rain" the 2nd half is exceptional :P
and ofcourse there's always Loop to enjoy.
anyway I'm done seeding now. I've got my share ratio at 121% which is enough...

I only wanted 10 songs to upload.
"through the gate", although it's a much more important BGM in the anime, was not included. I had chosen the much more soothing track "guess how much I love you" instead. :)

And I agree that "strange games" (not "strange names") was a bit of a disappointment.

Hearing this soundtrack greatly reminded me of .hack//SIGN. "ship of fools" had almost the same intro as Obsession! I'm not saying that it's a bad thing though... I mean, we're talking Yuki Kajuira music here!

oh yeah, I didn't like the track "you are my love". In fact, I rated it only 2 stars out of 5 in my iTunes. (All my CCS songs are rated 5 :D )
The vocal track, "tsubasa" is much, much better!  :noteworthy:

Wonder what's in store for us in OST 2... Well, we already have the TV sizes and most of the popular BGMs from the series. Probably new tracks will be introduced in the second half of the anime. I'm not talking season 2. What I mean is episodes 14-26.  :sweatdrop:

my personal favourites are:
"tsubasa" and "guess how much i love you"

though i like "guess how much i love you" but was disappointing as well because i dont think its the full song.. they did not include the part when Syaoran dived and was swimming in the lake..  :(

and Pehonix star are u sure u've got bittorent? it wont show up correctly unless u use that. If you dont have bittorent I'm suprised the download worked oO

When you click on the provided links, (simply click, not right click), does Quick Time show up and start to play the song? If so, and your browser is Firefox, do:  File > Save Page As....
I'm not sure if this would work for Internet Explorer. It worked with me for Firefox.

This is probably just me but when I listen to "Hear Our Prayer", I get really sad....  :sad5:  but I can't stop listening to it. "Hear Our Prayer" is one of my favorite of OST now...

initially, i wanted to upload the listed tracks as well.. but i thought Little Wolf has them in the post.. so i decided just to upload the not listed ones..

I can't download any of the songs that Little Wolf-sama put up and am wondering why.
When I right click and save as, it just downloads a php file.
If I just click on the link, it opens a window which loads the song and I can hear it, but not save it.

Go to File and do "Save Page As..." Try that and see if it works (it worked that way with me. I had same problem as you)

That song is used many times.(typically in fight scenes)  It was first usedin episode 1, when Sakura touches the stone and floats down into the chamber below. The music is used throughout that scene.

It's sung by Maaya Sakamoto, the same person who sung Loop. It's not Tsubasa related, it was just on the Loop single, I think.

I'm going to presume that since the Country of Clow is based on an eastern sort of nation, that the inspiration for a lot of the soundtrack came from Arabic music.
I'm not sure what the woman singing in Ship of Fools is saying, but I'm sure it's arabic...

soooo...
does anyone have any idea who this singer is? Cause if I could then I can google her and maybe find more songs like "Ship of Fools"

(ps just saw ep15, and Kurogane's outro was stupidly funny  :greengrin:

I believe the singer is Yuki Kajiura & I'm not sure but I think she might've made the Yoko Kanno move & made up her own language for the song since she did on the Madlax OST, which I highly recomend.

Sorry but Yuki Kajiura is definitely not the singer!
She write the music and the text from the songs but she never sing by herself!!!

I love all the Tsuabsa music. The opening and ending are great, I slightly favour Loop by maaya just beacuse her voice is so beautiful.

on the OST my favourite tracks so far are 'you are my love' , 'I talk to the rain' and 'song of storm and fire'

I was rewatching tsubasa from 1 again since 18s taking so long to come out.
But I noticed something, on episode 2, right before it's about to end.
Where Syaoran is stumbling his way to retrieve Sakura's feather in the middle of the brawl with the 2 gangs.
The music that is played during that time, it sounds alot like "a song of storm and fire", but not quite.  It has more guitar, more livlyness into it, and also features that flute solo.
I was wondering if anyone knew what the song is called, and where I may be able to get this song.

so there are obviously a lot of songs that arent on the OST 1, (one inparticular I want to hear is the one they use initially in the 3rd episode at about 12 minutes, that is played with a guitar and a violin)

so any news on the 2nd Ost yet?

I love both the opening and ending themes. :) Kinya Kotani sings Blaze (opening) while Sakamoto Maaya sings Loop (ending). Both of them are really talented in singing especially Kinya-san. Anyone knows Gravitation? He sings most of the songs in the anime. Compare his voice when singing Gravitation's songs and his voice when singing Blaze. It's totally different! His voice when singing Blaze is somehow..um, more matured! :inlove:

well, i noticed there have been many requests for certain songs that hardly any1 can find from the Tsubasa series.
Luckily for those peepz, i have songs such as the song sung by the woman at the Clover bar in ep. 19 and the song sung by Sakura in ep. 20.

Hmmm, Yume no Tsubasa seems to be the best for me.
at the begining of Tsubasa anime series, i wished Sakura Tange to be Sakura's seiyuu,
but it might be ok with Yui Makino. she sings awsome!
btw, did you guys know that she is releasing new CD?
unfortunatly, it's not tsubasa's music, but it was quite good!

I'm sorry if it's been asked before, but I've got a question!
I'm currently rewatching the first season, you see, and I heard this odd song. Episode 10. When Fai says he doesn't wanna stay in one world, and Kurogane asks Why not? this really neat version of Fai's theme starts. Some sort of slow piano version. I think it's really pwetty. But where can I find it? Was it even on the soundtrack? Any info on it will be greatly appreciated! ^_^

If I remember right, that song was "A Song of Storm and Fire". It's been a while since I've seen that episode, though. That song should be on the first soundtrack.

there are several songs that have vocalizations, but no one has ever lyric-ized them. (no one has lyricized one part in Kaze no machi he, hwere there is big vocalizing...i can ALMOST understand them, but my broken japanese will ony beable  to put down what i hear phoneticly :-/

actualy fai's theme is a more eastern type of music. i think you might be thinking of 1+0 city, whichi DID like the newer version better. its more tolerable.

also, when you upload images to it, you do NOT have to worry about them getting resized too like photobucket and tinypic do, just so long as their under 50MB

Karaoke doesn't really matter if it's from the english or japanese version since it's only sound.

maybe you might consider the one in yume no tsubasa karaoke version. The japanese chorus version is fine... i've heard in karaoke competition who has same situaltion like you. The person sang the song in english but using japanese karaoke and it turn out to be nice and decent in my opinion.

if you want the english version so badly .... you might want to find someone who know how to remove the vocal part of the song.. i am sure theres a way to remove it .

yup, I had that idea too, I wish i can..I don't know if the rules of the karaoke contest permit sing a song in both anguages... if it's not deny i'll do it definetly!

ask the organizer if you have problem ... maybe they allowed jap. chorus version.  the fan karaoke version i heard is also an entry for karaoke competition.

So, what are your expectations of the opening and ending songs of season three?

It's most likely quite safe to assume that Bee-train will somehow manage to turn the Tokyo Arc into a world of rainbows and sugar, but at least a little angst is bound to be there unless the anime is to trail of in a direction all of its own, and therefore, I'm hoping for a sadder and less hopeful op and end theme. Now, I know that Sakamoto is capable of quite depressing songs, but I'm unsure of Kinya. All the songs I've heard from him have okay lyrics, but the tune is pop-ish and light... I fear it won't fit the athosphere at all
(actually, I made up some lyrics I'd like the opening and ending song to have. I'm currently trying to turn them into decent poems).

What do you think? Will the music be darker in the upcoming season, now when Bee-train has promised that the gang will arrive in Tokyo?

I hope that the opening will be darker and more, hmm... depressing?
Kinya has one nice, quite sad ballad from Gravitation OAV, so I think that he can make something that isn't sweet and pop-ish, but we'll see...
But the ending should have some bright tones, even if it would have an optimistic feeling only in one part - for example in refrain.

Well Kinya has some sad songs from Gravitation like Glaring Dream and In the Moonlight so it shouldn't be such a big problem. I'm looking forward to what he'll bring us :'3 . I have no doubts on Maaya Sakamoto-sama she's always doing such a wonderful job.
