an extreme improvement over the art/animation of the first anime of it and the fact that the number of episodes has doubled means lots of extra story ^_^

and it's been way too long since i last saw Ayu headbutt Yuuichi XD

yeah, the beginning is boring but just hang in there and it will become a very good anime with some really sad moments

but i'm really interested in the remake (see my previous post here)

it just looks awesome and they still have the same seiyuu's and music for the remake.

Most of all the remake is made by Kyoto animation --- the animation company is known for their CGs (previouse works FMP, Air)

I've seen all old episode and eagerly waiting for the new series to come.  I wonder how will they double number of episodes.

Kanon is a good anime. I can't wait until the remake airs. ^^ Mai is my favorite character!

I'm so glad to see that Yuuichi doesn't have a deformed head in the new one. XD

yeah, the art really bugged me sometimes especiallly Yuuichi the 'triangular guy' XD

i can't wait to see Ayu again.....i'm also curious what they are going to do with all those extra episodes, hopefully not fillers but extra story

I'm sure that they'll go more into everyone's pasts in the extra episodes, like I've never completely understood how Mai was actually making those monsters, so hopefully they can go more into that.

just watched the preview for Kanon.  i noticed that  Yuuchi's  VA is Tomokazu Sugita (Hideaki in chobits, subaru in X-TV, Mayama in Honey and Clover, Gintoki in Gintama)   Geeez....His voice is very mature and deep which might make Yuuchi sound like an adult and not a high schooler.  .

I am so excited with the background effect.  Its make you feel your watching a movie with great cinematography.
