Title: Cards of the Divide
Post by: Kasawa Lanford on July 05 2006, 01:35 am
When Sakura and Syaoran are invited to attend the Pretigious Yikolan Academy, located deep in the mountains of Calokan Valley, which happens to be located in northern Japan

Something strange happens though, the person who greets them seems to know about Sakura's magical powers. When a strange man suddenly appears to take Sakura's cards, this person jumps to her rescue

And yet, why does she suddenly feel new clow cards near her? And how is Japan's Military somehow involved?

Sakura - Fai
Calisto, Rena - Kasawa Lanford
Syaoran - Director Of Music

A young boy, who appeared to be in his early teens, walked along what appeared to be a landing pad. It walked the circomfrance of the pad for several minute's until he heard the tall tail sound of a aero-copter

*womp womp womp womp womp*

He looked to the south and soon saw the craft as it took up a position to land. He quickly made his way off the pad and over to the side door, where the headmaster was watching.

On board

"Nice Scenary, isn't it, Sakura" A young boy named 'Syaoran' said to Sakura. He looked out through the window of the Aero-copter, the mountains where very green, ending just where the mountain's slopped, from there was an endless amount of snow. "I wonder what this campus is like..." he said curiously

Sakura looked out the window in awe. The scenery was beautiful, never before had she seen something like that before! "It's beautiful Syaoran-kun! I can't believe we were invited to come here! " She rememberd the day when they had both recieved the invitations. Both of them were about to enter the 7th grade. Her father had urged her to go; after all it was a pretigious acamdey!
"I think I might like it here...It's so pretty!" Sakura gushed inside her head. The aero-copter soon came to a stop on the top of a landing pad, "Come on Syoran-kun!!" She urged unblucking her seatbelt and rushing out of the aero-copter as it landed.

The young boy was leaning up against the wall when the stairs where pushed toward the copter and up against the door. He watched as two people exited the copter, he took a breath look at a picture before smiling. "That must be them." he said and straightened out the crease's in his uniform

He wore the standard Council Uniform, which consisted of black shorts, due to winter, and a black turtle neck shirt

On the front of the shirt was his name - "Calisto Ron" and his title "Council Board Chairman"

"Welcome" He said as he walked up to the two new comers. "My name's Calisto Ron, and I want to welcome you to Yukilon Academy." he bowed to the two

Syaoran nodded. "Thank you." he said and glanced at Sakura, completely forgetting about introducing himself

Sakura took a breath of the mountian air as she stepped out. The wind blew slightly and she turned to face the cool breeze.
"My name's Calisto Ron, and I want to welcome you to Yukilon Academy." Sakura turned around and ran over to where Syoran was standing. She bowed to the young boy and smiled, "Thank-you! My name is Kinomoto Sakura. This is Syaoran Li. We're so happy to be here!"

Calisto smiled. "I'm glad to hear that." he said to her and looked at the young boy, then back at her. "Please follow me." he gestured and began to walk away from the pad

Syaoran nodded and smiled at Sakura. "Let's go" he said and grabbed her hand

In the back of his mind, Calisto was nervous. I'm sensing a large amount of magic from one of these two... I'm glad Eriol was right.

The two followed Calisto into the school. Sakura looked around in amazement, it was huge! Suddenly a jolt went through Sakura's body. She stopped in her tracks and looked around. "I sensed magic! But where is it coming from?!" Syaoran stopped too and looked back with a questioning look on his face. Sakura pulled him close and whispered, "I sence magic here Syaoran-kun...Can't you?"

Syaoran nodded. "I do, but I can't tell where." he said and noticed Calisto was slightly looking over his shoulder

"Is... something wrong?" Calisto asked and Syaoran shook his head. "No, just amazed at the scenary." he said

The young boy smiled. "We are having out end of the school year festival, want to join in?" he knew they would stand out, since they weren't in uniform. He also knew that they would probably figure it out that this school was slightly an elementary and high school, there was no middle school.

"A festival?! Of course!" Sakura said happily, excited that they were already invited to participate in a school event. It seemed as if she had stored the magic at the back of her head for later. But she did still feel it, it was like it was surrounding the two of them.

Calisto nodded and gestured for the two to follow him. They passed through the center of the academy, a large domed room that was the main entrance to the school itself

They where on the forth floor, below them was different floors with lockers. Calisto stopped briefly, "You two will be given a locker once your enrollment is complete. The lockers seperated by class. Since you two are sventh graders, you'll be on the third floor." he gestured to the floor just below them. After he was done explaining that he simply walked over to the window in that domed room and gestured out, "that's the festival grounds." he said
Title: Re: Cards of the Divide
Post by: Kasawa Lanford on July 05 2006, 03:53 pm
Calisto looked through the window and at the ground. Before the window laid a lush garden of flowers and rose's, every rose and every flower from around the world had been planted in such a way that it resembled a circle with some cuts in between

Kiosk's dotted some of the area's of the garden. A large fountain was present directly in the center, gushing water in different directions but all of it landed right in the pool itself

From the center of the fountain, was four long lanes. One going North, West, East and South, water ran along those lines and toward a ditch. The ditch was really a small river that water ran through and toward the farming community located just a bit down ways from the Academy's Campus.

There where no grates over the lanes of water, this was because the water was pure and students where allowed to deep there hands into it. If someone was to do that they would probably feel a crystal like object run between there hands, this was a special chemical in the water that had many uses - one of which was to cure sickness. Which was why this school hardly had any need for a nurse's office

Calisto gestured to the southern part of the festival grounds. In that direction you could see a large soccer field, there was a game going on apperently as the stands had all sorts of students sitting and watching. "That field can be switched around." Calisto smiled and looked back at the garden. "This is our type of festival, we have several each year for different occasions."

He turned his back against the window and stared at Syaoran and Sakura. "We also have festivals for new students, we commonly call them the 'Orientation Festivals' which consist's of several students of your own grade level, a few lower and a few higher, who take you on a tour of the school itself." He stopped briefly to catch his breath. "I do have to inform of one thing. You where just entering middle school right? Well, at this academy, 7th grade to 9th is still largely considered grade school level. However, if your worried about how you'll be treated don't. The students here are treated very respectfully and curtiously." he said and turned his face toward the window.

"So, what do you think?" He smiled at the two of them

Syaoran just gawked at his surroundings.  It was, so magnificent.  And this is supposed to be a school... He thought.
So, what do you think?
Syaoran looked up at the man and replied, "It's real big sir..."  And then blushed as he realized how "kiddish" that sounded.

Sakura gazed out at the magnificant grounds. She thought the view was breathtaking...But this..This was even more beautiful! She turned to face Calisto and smiled, "It's beautiful! How can you make something so beautiful!?" Sakura asked amazed. She didn't see many things like this often.

Calisto smiled. "Everyone here at the schools, from all the grades, has helped make the Academy the way it is. Those tree's, flowers, rose's, plants, whatever you wish to call them where planted by the students and are taken care of by the students." He said and looked out the window once more

He stood there for a few before turning back toward the two. "Do either of you have any questions before we move on?"
Title: Re: Cards of the Divide

Syaoran furiously shook his head.  "No sir." He replied.  He wasn't going to ask questions and be a nuisance.  "Besides" He thought, "He'll probably cover it all soon enough.

Sakura nodded and smiled but then a question popped into her head, "Umm...When is the festival going to be?" She knew all the dates of festivals back at her old school, but wasn't sure if it was the same here.

Calisto smiled slightly. "Tomorrow, it'll start at nine in the morning and go on till nine at night." he said to her and turned toward the window, then smiled and turned back. "Shall we continue the tour?"
Title: Re: Cards of the Divide

As Calisto waited for an answer, he turned his attention back to the garden. He made a mental note to check the logs to see who it was that last watered this section, because he noticed some of the flowers and rose's where dieing, but it wasn't really THAT noticable

He stared a bit further toward the south of the garden and noticed a group of students getting togher, from there uniforms he figured they where track club members, the festival tomorrow did have a race so perhaps they where getting themselves involved

Calisto smiled slightly and continued to watch, still waiting.

Syaoran looked up at Calisto.  He looked at Sakura and he realized her eyes were beaming.  Most likely she's thrilled about the festival... Syaoran mused.
"Mr. Ron sir, I think we're ready to continue the tour."
Title: Re: Cards of the Divide
Post by: Kasawa Lanford on July 09 2006, 08:18 am
Calisto winced slightly. "Um, just call me Calisto please..." he said while running his finger up and down the side of his cheek. He hated being called Ron, or even having 'Mr.' attached to it, he didn't know why, he just prefered his own name

He would guide the two down to the large chorus room, he raised his finger to single them to keep quiet a bit and brought them into the massive room. It was really an assembly hall, but transformed so that music and other stuff could be played in here

Calisto listened to the large chorus class that was currently practicing. In the center was a young girl singing a solo part, she was beautiful and her singing voice was wonderful. "That young girl we scouted a few months ago, she's got a beautiful voice and I'm glad she decided to attend this school." he said. He couldn't tell them that she girl, which if they where close enough they would've noticed the name on her tag as 'Tomoyo' had been the one who originally asked Calisto to invite Sakura and Syaoran to the school. Although he of course had his own reason's for inviting the two, like there magical abilitie's, just to name a few

After a few minutes the group stopped and bowed. Then exited the large room, he turned back to Sakura and Syaoran. "What do you think?" he asked them
Title: Re: Cards of the Divide

Sakura closed her eyes and listiened to the sweet voice as they walked into the chorus class. Se opened her eyes and examined the girl that they voice was coming from. Her eyes widened, she knew those raven locks anywhere! And why didn't she recognize the voice?! As the group bowed and left the room, Sakura smiled, "Syaoran-kun!! It's Tomoyo-chan! I can't believe she's here too!!" She turned to Calisto, "May I go say hello to my friend? I didn't realize she was going to be here to!!"

Syaoran bowed slightly.  "Sorry."  He and Sakura were led down a large hallway and then into a large chorus room.  Syaoran was tranced in the beauty of all the singing.  All of a sudden, his attention was captured to a young girl around his age singing a solo.  Syaoran could only see the side of the face, and he thought he knew instantly, who it was.  To make sure, he took a step to the left to see her from the front.

His jaw dropped open.  "Tomoyo..."  He said silently.  Calisto had motioned himself and Sakura to exit the room.  Syaoran hastily followed them outside. What do you think? Calisto asked the pair.

Syaoran looked at Calisto and said,  "Beautiful...but...Calisto, the girl who was singing solo in the middle;Tomoyo, why didn't she tell us she was attending the same school as us?"

Calisto shrugged. "Don't know, your asking the wrong person. All I know is that Daidouji-sama has been practicing for two days straight on her solo part. She's really dedicated to getting it down." He said before hearing Sakura's question

"Daidouji-sama already knew you would be here today, in fact, she already asked me to make sure you two are in the Council Room sometime between three and four, a few hours from now." Calisto smiled at them. "So don't worry, you'll be able to talk to her in no time." he said and gestured for the two of them to follow him

Syaoran, heavy with his thoughts didn't notice Calisto motioning for both of them to follow him.  When he finally DID look up, he was a good distance away.  He hurried and ran to catch up with them.

Calisto lead the two of them a good distance before they finally got to a set of double doors. He pushed them open and there they where, outside the building and in a large garden. Several students looked up at him and bowed, one of them, roughly a year younger than him, ran over. "Calisto-sama, what are you doing here?" the young student asked

"I'm showing our two new students the school, how are things here?" Calisto asked and the young kid smiled. "peachy." the student chirped and grabbed a rose and handed it to Sakura. "Here!" He smiled at the girl before running off to take care of the flower bed he was just tending to

Calisto couldn't help but laugh. "Yuki is always so energetic." he said between laughs before looking at the two of them.  "all grade's tend these gardens, in fact, since you two are new you'll most likely be picked to attend your classes garden, but thats only if you want it." he said and stared back at the beautiful rose's and other flowers. "What do you think?"
Title: Re: Cards of the Divide
Post by: Fai on July 09 2006, 01:26 pm
Sakura smiled graetfully at the little boy as he handed her a beautiful rose. She smiled even more when she heard that they would be allowed to help look after these gardens, "Really?! I would love to help out in the gardens! Although...I'm not really good at gardening, I'll try my best!" Sakura said with a determend face, "They're so beautiful...How many flowers are there in the gardens?" She asked in awe as they kept walking.
Title: Re: Cards of the Divide

Calisto rubbed his chin slightly before shrugging. "To many." he simply said as they entered another portion of the garden. The smell in this part of the garden was enough to clear one's mind, and for someone like Calisto, that was needed a lot. He spotted two students on the far side studying

"Some of these gardens have such a terrific and soothing smell, that students often come here to study since it's a quiet and peaceful place." He said to them and continued to walk
Title: Re: Cards of the Divide
Post by: Fai on July 09 2006, 01:59 pm
Sakura nodded and breathed in the sweet smell of the flowers. Already she couldn't wait to start having classes here. She ran after Syaoran and Calisto as they continued to walk ahead and she caught up quickly, "Claisto-san...How long have you been at this school?"
Title: Re: Cards of the Divide
Post by: Kasawa Lanford on July 09 2006, 02:04 pm
Calisto stopped suddenly and thought about it. "Ummm...." he blinked a few times then smiled slightly. "I've been at this school all my life, from Pre-k onward. A family member attended here back when I was little so I was automatically accepted into the school." he said to them and kept walking

(ooc: >_< to many edits... man my typing is bad tonight)

After about ten more minutes of walking Calisto lead the group into a large chamber. In this chamber was a fountain that was in the center, students sat around it, some on the floor and others standing. They where either just enjoying the cool air, studying, or doing other things

"This is the central chamber, from here you can go into the nine different gardens. Each are marked by grade and each garden has about four rows, which corrispond to the four classes in eaceh grade." Calisto said and gestured to the fountain. "Go ahead and rest for awhile." he said and walked over to the fountain and took in the smell of the water

As Syaoran walked around the peaceful grounds with Calisto and Sakura, he noticed something odd.  All the classes he had seen, they were all taught by, kids.  Not adults, but kids.  And he realized, Calisto hadn't said anything on this matter.  "Uh..Calisto sir... I have a question.  All the classes....they're taught by....well...why aren't there any adults?"
Title: Re: Cards of the Divide
Post by: Kasawa Lanford on July 10 2006, 02:04 pm
Calisto continued to walk. "The only classes taught by adults are the after school classes, like the cheerleading squad, track, chorus class, and such stuff like that." he said and glanced briefly over his shoulder. "The high school students teach the pre-school and grade school classes, while the university students teach the high school classes." he said to them and stopped and spun around, his hands clasped behind his back, his head was slightly lower and beneith them, a smile creased his face.

"Nee!" It was the first time he revealed his childish self to the two, but knew it would probably calm there soul's to know that even he, a council board chairman, was capible of having fun. "It's actually quite fun, because not only do we learn from the teacher, but the teacher learns from us. Don't worry though, the only way to be a teacher of a grade school class is to be chosen by the headmaster. It also has to be cleared by me, since I'm the council board chairman for this section of the school." he said and lifted his head back up and stared out. "You'll begin to understand as the school year goes on. The teacher sticks to the class, meaning the teacher you have in the 7th grade, will also be the teacher you have in the 9th grade, the teacher's move up with the class and no students change classes." he smiled at them and turned toward the fountain. "Everything is run and managed by the students, for the students, with the students. I don't really understand the complicated stuff about this, trust me, I'm not the smarted student here." he smiled weakly before continueing the walk

Calisto stood there taking in the smell from the rose's and flowers. He was curious as to weather Kinomoto and Li where speechless due to all the stuff he had shown them, but when he looked at the clock on the wall he realized that he needed to get things going

"We should be getting to the council chambers." He said to them and gestured to them to follow him. "There won't be much to do this week except for the festival and we can get all your enrollment stuff done today." He smiled at them

Syaoran nodded again.  So much information was getting thrown at him,  he doubted he could remember it all.  He followed Calisto's lead to the council chambers.

After about thirty minutes of walking they had arrived at the council room, he opened the doors and walked in, several other council members looked at him before they bowed. A noticable female stood near a large desk. "Hey Bro- I mean Council Chairman." she smiled slightly although realizing she had made a slight mistake

"Afternoon." Calisto said and noticed the two boxes on the table. Rena, the girl who had greeted Calisto, walked over and opened the boxes. "Do you recognize these uniforms?" She said to Syaoran and Sakura.

Meanwhile...

Calisto had left the council room he was feeling slightly light headed but that was due to all his power being used to support the barrier that was around the school.

Four time's now had he felt something go through said barrier and four time's now had he thought about what it was. He made his way to the roof where he looked out across the campus, a lush green scenary is what he saw

But suddenly that all changed, a red sky illuminated everything, followed by fire and earth spouting from the ground. Calisto took several step's back in fear and glanced around, "what is this?!" he shouted in fear and ran over to the door, but realized it was locked, after a few second's the sky cleared but he was still trying to get the door open and didn't notice it.

"Perhaps *I* should become those cards owners.." A voice suddenly boomed and placed a hand on Calisto's shoulder and pulled hard the next thing Calisto felt was him flying through the air and slamming into the fence with enough force to cause the metal hinge's to pop right off

"Now..." The stranger said and walked over to the semi-concious Calisto and knelt down. "Where is Master of the Clow?" it said but Calisto stared blankly at the stranger, not knowing who that was. After several second's of keep quiet the stranger grinned and raised it's hand, a hard holder in Calisto's pocket suddenly appeared in the strangers hand and several cards came out. "You don't carry them all, no matter. These will do nicely," the stranger said and laughed menacingly, then vanished

Calisto laid there and grunted. "No.... blast...." he said and stayed there. "R...ena..... Sa....kura....." he said before passing out.

Syaoran nodded at the familiarty of the uniforms.  A moment later however, he felt an aura of panic and need of help.  He automatically gripped Sakura's shoulder.  Syaoran glanced at her and barged out of the council room.  After running for a moment, he realized he didn't know WHERE the plea was coming from, he just knew it was somewhere around here.  A slight frown appeared on Syaoran's lip as the plea grew weaker.  A sudden thought came to him.  What if I went on the roof?  Maybe I could see from there?  He charged up the stairs leading to the roof and tried to open the door to the roof.  It was locked.  That's strange... He thought.  A moment later however, he burst through the door and was up the rooftop.  He stopped short.  Ron Calisto was lying unconcious on the  cement floor.

Syaoran quickly ran over to him and checked his pulse.  Still alive and breathing.  But barely.  Syaoran managed to put Calisto on his back and walked slowly back downstairs with him.

Rena blinked as she watched Syaoran suddenly run out of the Council Room. "What the...." she said before sensing something on the roof. She was about to run toward the door when she sensed something else only this was near the window. "EVERYONE DOWN!" she yelled and jumped on Sakura, forcing the young girl and herself onto the ground, Rena placed her hand on Sakura's hea djust as the window they had been near suddenly exploded.

Several of the council members who didn't get out of the way found themselves cut by the flying glass and fell to the ground in pain.

"Sakura Kinomoto...." the strang figure said as he floated into the room and landed on the ground. Rena got up and took out a card, "Razaia Ban!" She yelled as a fire engolfed him

"Psh.... how weak." he said and raised his hand, Rena blinked before flying back and slamming agianst the back wall, which instantly knocked her out. "Annoying girl..." he said and looked Sakura. "Now... if you don't want to feel the same pain that Calisto is feeling... then had over the Clow Cards.." he said in a kindful, soft, deceptive tone

Sakura smiled as she talked happily with the students in the Council Room. "Everyone is so nice here!!" She thought happily.  Syaoran had been sitting in the corner watching but then he had suddenly ran out of the room, "Wha-, Syaoran-kun!! Where are you going?!" All of a sudden she found herself being forced to the ground by Rena as shattered glass flew in every direction, "Ahh!!"

Already a dark magical aura englufed the room and Sakura shivered. She hadn't felt something this powerful in a while...The source of the strange aura uttered her name as a flame englufed his body. It took a while for her to register to what was going on. Did Rena just whip out a card? "Rena-san!!!" She cried as the girl was suddenly thrown into a wall. Sakura stood up and her staff appeared in her hand as she faced the mysterious figure. "Now... if you don't want to feel the same pain that Calisto is feeling... then had over the Clow Cards.."

Sakura blinked, "What did you do to Calisto-san?! Why would I hand over the cards?!" Her hands gripped the staff tighter. The kind voice seemed to put a kind of trance over her, but she shook her head, and tried to fight it, "Water!!"

The figure sighed as he watched the young girl. "Pathetic...." he said as he raised his hand at her

"Vion!" came a yell from his left

"Eilo!" came a yell from his right

Bazian glanced to both sides and jumped backwards as two arrow's collided in the middle. He glanced at the two figures who fired at him, although they where in a lot of pain thanks to the shattered glass, they apperently still had enough streangth to fight him

"Fools!" he shouted as he raised his hand and threw both of those students into the wall. He then looked at Sakura and raised his hand, and formed a barrier in front of him. "Fighting me is useless...." he said in the soft tone again. "You can't win."

Sakura threw another card out, "Sheild!!" The sheild englufed the injured and shocked students making sure that they wouldn't get injured, "Who are you??" When the figure didn't answer, but produced a barrier around him, the grip on the wand become much tighter, "Sword!"

Running toward the barrier she sliced through it with no problem, but was thrown back as it regenerated against a wall. Sakura grimaced as she tried to get up from the shattered glass, "I hope Syaoran-kun is okay...And Calisto-san as well.."

He grinned at her. "Didn't I say it was useless." he said as he walked toward her

Rena blinked and rose up, her back hurt so bad that she forced herself to not scream in pain. She took out another card that was laced with the word - Tempest

A strong storm suddenly engolfed Bazian as lightning and strong winds cut across his body. After several tense minutes the storm sided and he staggered backwords, "huh..... not bad..." he said and suddenly appeared next to Rena and grabbed her by the neck. "Although.. that was a mistake." He said and threw her into another wall

He grinned at her and walked back over to Sakura. "Now... are you going to hand over your cards willingly... or do I have to get even... more rough?" he said with a grin

Finally pulling herself up from the ground Sakura gasped as a pain shot through her arm. She could see Rena struggling to get up as she pulled out another card. Wind blew through the room and lighting crashed above. The man suddenly had a hold on Rena's neck, "Rena-san!!" Sakura cried as she was thrown against the wall.

The man advanced on her and Sakura clutched the cards close to her, "Why are you doing this just for the cards?!" Whipping out another card, the staff returned to it's original state, "The Shot!!"

He grinned slightly but soon realized that he didn't have a defense against that, and fell backwards as the shot card fired right on through him. He brought himself back up and snarled at her

Bazein was about to attack when he sensed a very strong presence near him, then looked back at Sakura. "You've won this day..." he said and vanished out the window

The shot card went right through the man's barrier just as she thought it would. He fell back and snarled at her as he recovered. Sakura braced herself as she saw him prepare for an attack, but was surprised when he withdrew. He disappared out the window for some reason instead and Sakura fell down to the ground.

Another presence had joined in with the dark swirling aura. Sakura could sence it, but she couldn't figure out who it was coming from. It seemed that most of the students here had some kind of magic in them. The pain in her arm grew unbearable although she tried to stay concious, but it was useless.

A cloudy world

Calisto stared forward as his body floated in mid air. He opened his eye's to see Sakura's body also floating in mid air, he looked around and realized that he was in a dream state, the same state that everyone at the academy goes into when something like this happens

Although WHY Sakura was here was a mystery to him. He looked at her before willing himself to float to the ground, when he did clothing suddenly appeared around his brightly lit body. He wore one of the schools uniforms, which consisted of light blue sweet pants. A white sailor jacket with a dark blue scarf, red trim, and a green bow. He looked at Sakura with curiousity before speaking her name

"Sakura..." he said

"Sakura..." Someone was calling Sakura, she could hear it. When Sakura opened her eyes the sky above was a pure white. Shocked she sat up and saw that she was floating in mid air. A bright light surrounded her body and as it faded she saw herself in the pink flowing dress that Tomoyo had made for the play. Her feet touched down and Sakura looked to see that it was Calisto who had called her,

"Calisto-san! Thank-goodness you're okay! Where's Syaoran-kun and where...are we?" Sakura asked sheepishly as she looked around the blank world.

Calisto smiled. "You are in what we called a 'dream state' its the state that all of us here at the academy go into, we use this to replenish our magic." he said

He turned his head around and suddenly the world around them changed and displayed a beautiful forest, animal's grazed and others moved about. Suddenly several other people appeared from around them, all of them where from the council, Rena included.

"Hoe....I didn't know that such a place existed!" Sakura said in awe as the forest suddenly appeared out of nowhere. More students that Sakura recognized from the council room had appeared and a familiar girl came over to them. Her face broke into a smile in relief, "Rena-san! I'm so happy you're okay!"

Her brow furrowed suddnley realizing that she had ended up here because of that strange man, "Rena-san...Who was that person that caused us to come here?"

Rena folded her arms. She wore the same uniform as Calisto, only difference was a long pink skirt. "His name is Bazien." She said thoughfully. "We don't know much about him, except that he is far stronger than Calisto."

Calisto looked away from Rena, almost as if he was hurt by that comment. "he seems to want the cards that my sister and I posses..."

"He also said something to me about wanting the Cards that I have..." Sakura said worridly, "How do you think he knows so much about them?" She didn't need to mention that there was a large magical aura around him. She shivered as she remembered it.

"Well.... we do know that he was in Tomoeda when you where collecting the clow cards." Rena said without showing any surprise.

Sakura's eyes shot open as she tried to remember if there was anyone who had followed them while they were collecting the cards. She'd have to call Kero later and ask him, she just couldn't remember.

Sakura shook her head,"I never felt that kind of aura around. I'm not sure about Kero or Syaoran-kun either..." Thinking back, she remembered that Eriol didn't have an aura around him either when she met him. "It might be the same thing," she thought.

Calisto didn't smile or nod, but instead continued. "We believe it's possible that he is a student at this acadmey, the problem is that no one here has a powerful aura like he does. So we can only figure that he does a very good job of hiding it."

When Calisto was done the forest changed to that of a small town, it was in fact, the town that was located just down the hill from the academy. A place where students who prefered to live in small house's where allowed to reside, a park and playground where present with children slightl younger than Calisto where playing and having fun

"The thing about dream state." he went on. "Is that we can see what goes on around us."

In one moment Syaoran was carrying Calisto into the Council Room.  But before he could enter, he couldn't move.  He was frozen to the spot.  He felt raw power he had never felt before and he heard shouts and bursts of magic.  He wanted to help.  He needed to help.  But he couldn't move.  Sakura was the only thought he had in his mind.  But all of a sudden, he was floating
Syaoran floated softly down to a town.  He wasn't wearing a school uniform now, but he was wearing a white collared shirt with a blue tie and black slacks and black shoes.  Suddenly, in the distance, he saw figures.  He cautiously stepped foward and they came into view.  It was Calisto, Sakura, and Rena.  He managed to hear a bit of what Calisto was saying before he joined the group  "-what goes on around us"

Calisto turned his eye's back to Syaoran and then looked forward. "Either way." Calisto said before snapping his fingers.

The space around the group popped and blurred and suddenly everyone was returned to reality. Rena winced from the pain and managed to get up and walked around, her arm was bent in an akward position thanks to the hit she had from that man. She took her coat and put it over her arm so that no one would worry.

Calisto was also just now waking up, having been laid up against the wall somehow, although his magic was still very weak but he wasn't in any danger. Rena looked around the room to find Sakura up against the wall, the window to the council room was shattered inward and she could hear several people outside wondering what was going on, of course she also heard several adults yelling at them to get back to class and some such stuff like that.

Syaoran was dazed as he went back into reality.  All around him was chaos.  He saw Rena cover up her arm with a coat quickly and he frowned slighty.  Next he turned to Calisto and helped him up on a chair.  He did the same with Sakura and made sure she was alright.  He turned back to Rena and his gazed soften slightly as he saw her wince in pain.

Rena glanced at Syaoran but soon turned away and walked over to a desk, her looked gazed out the shattered window and toward the far snow caped mountains. She sighed getting on the phone and alerting the head master to what happened.

"Someone will be here." Rena said and sat down. "......"

Syaoran frowned deeper as he walked slowly up to Rena.  "You shouldn't cover you injury up like that...I'll take a look at it, if you want."

Rena gave him a cold stare. "It's.... nothing.... you.. don't understand." she said and walked away from Syaoran and out of the council room. She walked down the hallway before stopping. Couldn't even protect my damn brother.... she said and kept walking

Syaoran stood shocked for a moment before turning to face Calisto and Sakura.  He went over to both of them to see if they needed anything. But the coldness of Rena kept coming back to him.

Somewhere else...

"They got attacked?!" Someone rose there voice over the class. "Aye they did.." another student said.

Another student rose from there seat. "yea, I saw the glass shatter in the council room. I heard something going on but not one could get close."

The students looked at each other before leaving there class, and there teacher, behind and made there way to the council room. Perhaps to either see what happened, or to help

Back in the Council Room

"Ow..." Calisto said as he began to wake up again. "Blast it...." he looked toward the window and noticed that it was shattered. "That's going to cost us..." he said and shook his head one more time while getting up. "How's everyone?" he called out

Sakura's eyes fluttered as she awakened from the dream. When she tried to move, she winced and glanced around at the damage in the room. Glass was everywhere, and the once neat and tidy council room was now in ruins.   Her emerald eyes were suddenly filled with worry; many students had been injured, all because that man had come after the cards,

"The cards!" she whispered slightly making sure that they were still there. A wave of relief washed over her; they were still there. Struggling to her feet, she leaned against the wall for support. Her ankle looked a bit swollen, and she could feel a warm line of blood running down her face.

"How's everyone?" Sakura heard Calisto call out. She caught his eye and smiled reassuringly. Looking around she saw Syaoran coming towards them and her smile grew wider.

Syaoran hurried over as he saw Sakura use the wall in an effort to get up.  He didn't know what to do.  He was really quite useless in these kinds of situations.  And to top it all off, Sakura was hurt yet she was smiling.  Girls...are really confusing.  Syaoran managed a half smile but a look of concern towered over him as he made his way over to Sakura.  He quietly asked her if she was okay and got her arm around his shoulder and guided her the only unbroken chair in the council room.

After making sure she was alright, Syaoran looked over at Calisto who didn't seem to put out.  He cocked his head towards Calisto in a look that clearly meant, "Are you alright?"

Calisto tried to smile but found it very difficult. "I'm fine..." he said and was about to say something when he heard a commotion outside. A few second's later several high school students entered the room and started assist the other council members who hadn't yet awoken.

"You should go to the health office and haev your shoulder looked at." An older female student said but Calisto shook his head. "I'll be fine thank you. If you need me, I'll be out in the garden." he simply said and walked away

The high school student stood there with her hands on her hips. "Why does he does this to himself..." she said with a sigh before wiping the sweat off her forehead. She then turned to Sakura and Syaoran, "Do either of you need help?" she asked

Syaoran shook his head and turned to Sakura.  She seemed fine.  A couple of scratches here in there but all in all, it could have been worse.

The high school student shook her head. "Your right, it could've been a lot worse." she said and helped adress another students needs. "If you want I can have someone show you and your friend to the health office to have the nurse look at your injuries."

With that she patted the student she was helping on the head and helped her up. "Get some rest, little sister."

"Hai...." the younger girl said and walked out of the council room. The high schooler turned back toward the shattered window, "Oh... this will take some time to fix." she sighed and then looked at Syaoran, then at Sakura. "What do you two want to do?"

Syaoran offered no response for a while.  He was in mental shock.  He looked over at Sakura, who smiled and looked over at him.  Syaoran blushed as he looked back at the high school guy.  " I-we don't really know...what CAN we do?"

The high schooler sighed and walked over to the two. "Well first off you can head over to the health clinic and ger yourselves checked on to make sure your cuts and bruise's aren't infected." she suggested and then looked toward the door. "after which you could pay the president a visit, kind of assure him that it's not his fault." she said

Syaoran nodded furiously as he half dragged Sakura to the clinic to check for any kind of injuries.  It turned out that they were fine, and Syaoran quickly went up to the President's office, took a deep breath, and softly knocked on the door.

Syaoran heard the Presiden't quiet voice emit from the inside.  However, it could be just his ears, but he could have sworn the President's voice had changed.  He shook his head quietly and walked in.

Syaoran and Sakura cautiously sat down as they viewed the big room.  Syaoran stuttered.  "W-well, you see sir...I just...we just wanted to tell you that we don't b-blame you a-and that everyone's okay."

Calisto shook his head. "While you may say everything is ok; the thing is nothing is ok." He said and turned in his chair. "if I had realized that you're arrival would spark this type of resposne then I'd have made sure the place was more safe."

He said this and got up from the chair and toward the window. "Half this school has peopel who can use magic, the other half are normal students who have no magic. It's my job to protect them while also protecting those of us who possess magic." He said
