CapturedWings recently added a donation option for those who want to help out the forum by contributing funds to the cause. As we've said before, it's not a requirement and don't feel bad if you can't. The forum itself isn't going anywhere however this was set up to help the administration with the costs of running CapturedWings since they are using their own funds to give us this place of enjoyment.
In this, our first anniversary of CapturedWings, there will be an incentive to donate. From now until April 30, any member who donates $5 to the forum will be entered in a raffle to win this lovely little prize:

This is the official re-release of Cardcaptor Sakura from Geneon...9 DVD discs covering episodes 37 to 70 in a book-style case. Retails for $99.99, someone who donates $5 could win this prize. If you donate in multiples of $5, you will get additional chances to win (EXAMPLE: Donate $10 and get 2 chances; $20 gets 4 chances: $50 gets 10 chances, etc.)
Also for all those who donate, I will match all donations for the month of April...up to a maximum of $50. For details on how to donate, please click the following link:

EDIT: There MUST be a minimum of 5 entries for the DVD giveaway...even if all 5 are from the same person...
EDIT 2: Though the Administrators aren't allowed to win the prize, the moderators as well as members and newcomers are all eligible.

Expect at least $10-$20 by this Friday on my payday. I've done a lot of overtime so I'll be able to help out. And don't worry. I'm not doing it for the book, however that's a plus! I really do owe this forum alot of money, especially how you guys can put up with me. XD

As promised, and since it's payday, I made my second donation. Due to bills, and other necessary funds, I could only afford to give $10 this time. I'll probably be able to give more on my next paycheck in 2 weeks.

Actually...it was 5 donations of $5 needed. Since we've done that, the raffle will take place.
Also to add...though the contest ends in 3 days, you don't have to rush to donate...the link will always be there for those who wish to donate when they can. Plus you never know...I have a few other things I may give away in the future.
Again, for all who contributed, we greatly appreciate your help. For those who can't...don't worry, this is simply optional and won't prevent you from continuing to enjoy all the great features of CapturedWings. Thanks :)

Today is the LAST DAY to donate and be eligible to win the CCS: Sakura Book DVD set. For those who were kind enough to donate and help put...a heartfelt thanks from the Administrators. For those you wanted to but couldn't...that's okay. If you get a chance to donate in the future, please do at your convenience and for the others...please there is absolutely no pressure or obligations to donate...it's all strictly an option.

The drawing for the CCS DVD boxset has been done. There were a total of 9 entries. Each entry was assigned a number and was voted on by the CapturedWings members (remember that thread in the 'Anything Goes' sub-forum?). It's my pleasure to announce that moezy-chan is the winner. Congratulations. I'll be shipping it out to you next week.
We raised a total of $45 in the month of April and next week, as promised, I will match that amount to make the total donation $90. Thanks to everyone who was able to donate and gave every donator and the administrators a cookie. The administration really appreciates it. Thank You :)

With my matching donation of $45 made to CapturedWings today, that brings our April drive to a close. I apologize for not donating lately. I've had an onslaught of bills and lack of work, but I've been transferred from my previous job to a different location which has doubled my paycheck. Expect the next pay on June 2nd. I should be able to give between $10-$20.

This past April we opened the donation link to CapturedWings and for those who donated...thank you. Sometime later this month we're going to once again promote a fundraiser to offset some of the operating costs and keep things moving as smooth as possible. Like the last fundraiser, there will be prizes available to those who donate. Watch this space for more details in the coming days :)
