Title: Fanfic/Fanart Forum!

Yeah... xD

I'm enjoying my stay here right now, by the way. Anyways, why not add a fanart/fanfic forum to this MB? We can post our own fanfics and drawings so others can take a look.  It's also a place to write poetry and what-not.

What do you think of this suggestion?

There will be a separate image gallery site that will open soon. The fanfic section is being made by my Assistant Admin, SLi.

By the way, the image gallery like I said will be separate from this forum so you'll have to register there if you want to download pictures or post comments. :)

Hmm, I think I can fix that for you.

I've modded to fanfic system of mine to use the forum users/login. Not that hard to do :D

just a question, but how is that Fanfic section coming along ?

also will it be able to attribute Original Stories and Poems ?
because i've already seen that the Fanart forum can't support Original Artwork or Fanart for other series from our forum members.

OOOh! It would be great if we could post up original work! I love writing, and it would be nice if I could post up a few of my stories....

Its almost there, just the author section, my classes are for my current course are coming to an end, so its taking up a fair bit of my time. It will be up and running soon.

I don't know about Original Stories and Poems, I've designed it to do fanfics from CCS & TRC (since thats what this site is primarly about)

of course CCS and TRC is primary, no question about it.
but as for a community place aswell i'm sure one section for original / fanwork of other shows could go. that would enable more of the community who arn't especially good at TRC and CCS to shine. since its still a friendly community and all  :wink:

Well my plan for tomorrow:

Get fan-fiction system done
Get Language center done

(No I haven't forgotten about them, just not had much time :( )

anyway, why me? LOL
but if you were to ask my opinion...well, I'm fine with the original stories idea but I presume that would mean a lot more work for our fiction script writer, SLi. :D

Reasons why we can't accept non-CCS/TRC artworks in the gallery of CW:
- limited bandwidth. image galleries demand more bandwidth unlike text in fanfics.
- there are better sites for that purpose (i.e. deviantart.com) :wink:
