Title: CardCaptor Sakura - Monolithic Times
Post by: Kasawa Lanford on February 04 2006, 05:06 pm
Konban-wa!!

Did this rpg on another board, so I'll try here!!! ^_^

Existing:

Sakura - Shiunu
Meilin -  Open character, anyone can play until claimed :)
Tomoyo - Hypercrabby
Syaoran - Babypigggy
Kero - Okamirei
Yukito - Open character, anyone can play until claimed :)
Suppy - Open character, anyone can play until claimed :)
Eriol - Open character, anyone can play until claimed :)

We need a Sakura and Syaoran diffinantly, but we also need the others to help them out  :keke:
And yes, created characters ARE allowed. Bios? Meh.. you can add a bio if you wish ^_^

Original:

Kaston - Kalshion
Nanase - Kalshion
Ariana - Fai
Bad Guy's - Fai, Kalshion, and everyone else :p

There are four crystals in this story

Each one resonates a different energy that responds to a character

For Sakura and Syaoran, the first crystal resonates to them (Which resides in the Country of Clow)
The second crystal resonates to Eriol and Tomoyo (Which resides in the Caverns of Sorrow)
The third crystal resonates to Mielin and Miyuki (Which resides in the Kingdom of Calton)
The forth resonates to Kaston and Nanase (This crystal is the one that Fai's character is currently holding onto, but Kaston and Nanase don't know that)

Once the characters get near the crystal they'll know they'll be affected by it (I'll also be putting in a LOCATION: *Place* from now on so that no one is confused) I'll change our location after a certain number of posts, or until a certain event occurs

As for geological locations:

The Country of Clow is the magical country of this world, within resides people who know magic and know how to use it, the country takes of form of the Europeon Medevil period. Due to this, the only mode of transportation is Horse or Boat.. and of course your feet ;-)

The capital of this country of the Castle of Clow

The Caverns of Sorrow are just as they are named: It's a place full of horror and grief, a place no one should step into. The location for this is keep inside the Cascade Mountains located on an island just off the coast of Kingdom of Calton. This is a very dangerous place, as the inhabitants don't like outsiders, and is the one place that Kaston and Nanase fear the most, the crystal is hidden somewhere in these caves

The Kingdom of Calton, a techno kingdom where car's and skyscrappers ran, one city actually has the name "Tomoeda" and it's layout is exactly alike to it's real world cousin, everything about it is the same, fomr the location of Sakura's home, to the grade school and high school they used to attend. The one thing that sets this place apart however is that the capital is a floating city where no one is allowed, not even the military, it's said the ruler resides up there with the Crystal in question.. and that the only visitors are students from the local schools who come to pay homemage to the Ruler and to tour his palace

The Empire of Giveron, another dangerous place, this Empire get's it's name from the Undead that walk it's plains, the undead being those who have died on this world and have thus been reanimated. The undead in question remembers everything about there former life, but saddly, is unable to return to that life becuase of a barrier that was projected across there country that locks them in, reguler people can enter and leave, but the undead can't: They are NOT a warring place, but WILL defend themselves if attacked

The Holy City of Magibefan, a city of woman and only woman, nothing is known about this place since no man has every left it. One thing is for certain: They are VERY defensive of their children

:Please Read This:

This area changes depending on where we are

The Holy City of Magibefan is the next city that Sakura and her group heads to after Sakura and Syaoran obtain the crystal that is inbedded in the being that they are currently fighting

One thing you all must know: This is a city of woman, but they are nun's and follow the teaching's of their god (I know some of you might not believe in God,I know I don't, but this is how I wanted this City to be portrayed)

This is an important part of the story, because it allows Kaston and Nanase to reveal several important facts about themselves that Sakura and Syaoran need to know (It might also be a bombshell, so I'm expecting their RPers to be shocked, yes, as in Bombshell I mean a real nasty bomb :p)

How they get there will be explained in the post in question

Just an FYI: The world you all are in is in a constant state of Turmoil, while it doesn't look it, each place the group passes through turns into rumble and chaos when they leave. But no one is suppose to notice it.... well... not until toward the end

Plot -
It's been ten years since Sakura and Syaoran confessed their love for each other and started dating. Now, with Syaoran attending a university and Sakura in college, everything should've been fine. But one faithful winter night at the Tokyo Tower, Sakura, Syaoran and the rest of their friends where celebrating new years with a bang, when out of the blue a bright light flashed the sky and night turned into day

In another part of the land, four assassin's steal four relic's that turn the tide of a battle in the favor of their employer, these relic's have a strange magical bond to them that allows those sensitive to magic to become stronger, but is it possible these are responsible for the strange teleportation into the era that they are in?

And what about their age, they went from being 21-22 to being 11-12? Why was their age affected so much, yet they're memorys are clear, they recall everything that happened up to that point

(The change in age is just to make things fit with the plot, don't worry it ain't permanant... ^_^)

Okie! Lets Start  :heh:

--------------------------------------

Sometime before the arrival of Sakura and her friends

The wind picked up outside the town of Masdaiea two people ran through the forest toward what appeared to be a lake, one of the two tripped and fell on the ground. "Come on sis!" The other yelled as they grabbed the hand of the one who fell and continued to run

As the two ran they suddenly stopped and stared out, one cursed while the other held on tightly to her brother. "Bro!" she said as he looked around. They where about to wade into the water when they heard something behind them and turned around, two men stood there, sword's at the ready and closely moving toward them. "Stay away!" The boy yelled and took out his own, albiet wooden, sword.

One of the men chuckled and the other laughed as they began to make there way toward the two

Okie. Do I start as Sakura now? Lol. Was that kinda like a narration? I'm gonna go ahead to the actual thing with Sakura and Syaoran. I hope that's okay!
~~~
It had been 10 years since Sakura and Syaoran had officially learned that they had loved each other the entire time they knew one another. Sakura was 21 and a successful college student. Syaoran, the boy she felt she had loved her entire life attended a university about 30 miles away from her college. Sakura was very busy with college tests and her studies and always made sure to call Syaoran and see how he was doing. She would always try to meet with him and be with him as much as possible. Sakura couldn't believe how fast the years flew by. It just seemed like she was getting out of high school and deciding where to go and what her future held for her. Sakura suddenly found herself getting up from her desk when the bell jarred her thoughts during her class. She walked out the classroom door and looked at her watch. "Well I better go back to my room and call Syaoran. *sigh* I'll have to study a little too for that test tomorrow." Sakura found her way to her dorm room and set all her books down on her bed. She grabbed her phone and dialed Syaoran's cell phone number.  It rang and she was anticipating to hear his sweet voice that made her melt inside.
The phone rang again and then suddenly Syaoran's voicemail picked up. Sakura sighed because she knew that meant that he wasn't out of class yet.  She spoke into the phone after the beep rang. "Syaoran this is Sakura. I was just wondering if you would like to do something with me tonight, I know that New Year's is coming up and maybe we can plan something. Well talk to you later. I love you. Bye."  Sakura hung the phone up and pulled out her text books and began studying.
~~
I hope that was good. *Hee!*
Syaoran felt melted when he plumped down on the sofa after coming home. His message thing said he had one message. Listening to Sakura's cheery voice made everything better.
"Love you too." He said, smiling, closing his eyes for a moment then getting up to the phone. He dialed her number and had somethings in mind for the night.
Sakura heard her phone ring and she picked it up. "Syaoran? Is that you?"  She was so relieved to know that he had called her back. She was wondering if he had any plans for New Years eve.
Tomoyo walked into the dorm room she shared with Sakura. She opened her mouth to speak, but quickly closed it noticing Sakura was on the phone. Earlier that day, Tomoyo had daydreamed in class about how to spend New Years. It had been ages since Sakura, Syaoran, Meiling and her had gotten together. Then, an exciting thought had crossed her mind.
New Years at Tokyo Tower!
She pulled out a brochure of Tokyo Tower and wrote a quick messege on it, passing it to Sakura. "Why don't we all go here tonight?"
Sakura looked at the note and shook her head yes. "Syaoran how about we go to Tokyo tower for New years? Tomoyo just mentioned it." Sakura asked Syaoran on the phone. Sakura felt excited, she couldn't wait for everyone to get together again. "I really think we should. It will be really fun!"
Meanwhile, in some other world
Four masked men stood on top of a wall watching a shrine. "So thats where the employer said those relics are located?"
"yep." One of the masked men commented. "Those relic's shield this land from attack, if we take them, then our employer can assault this land and clean it's furtile crops."
The four men grinned and made there way into the shrine where they encountered no resistance at all, they proceeded to the room where all four relic's where. All of them enter the room and remove the relic's one by one, then the earth begins to shake and the wind begins to pick up. "Come on!" One of the men yell's and soon, all four vanish from the shrine
Back in Sakura's world
"Sure, baby anywhere." Syaoran said, and threw the brochure he had in his hand for the amusement park where they were doing the countdown as well as fireworks. He sighed.
"I'll come get you, around 8: 30, aright?" Syaoran asked.
"Sure! Well I gotta get ready! I love you. See you soon!" Sakura said and hung up. "Tomoyo-chan! This is going to be so fun! Syaoran said that he would pick us up at 8:30. So we have to get ready." Sakura said as she went to her closet and began picking something out to wear. She was so excited that she was going to be with all her friends on New Years eve. Plus it would give her a break from school also.
"I guess...I'll just grab a snack." Syaoran said. he was worn out. He had to get a part time job, for satisfaction reasons and to prove to his mother taht he wasnt just a rich brat relying on his family fortune. He took a pizza pocket form the fridge and stuck it in the microwave. He has a sudden flash, four men in masks.
"Woah..that was strange.." He said and opened the beeping microwave.
Sakura was still getting ready and felt a strange presence. "What was that?" Apparentley she had seen the same thing as Syaoran.  There were four men in masks. "Probably just my imagination. Tomoyo-chan! Are you almost ready? I figured that we would grab a snack and then wait for Syaoran."
A kid looked out the window of his home and watched in the distance as something catch his eye. "Whats that?" he said and walked over to the door and opened it up, black smoke rose from a near by home. The kid and his sister ran outside to find out what was going on, but suddenly stopped when two men approuched them. The next thing they knew they where in a run for their life
Syaoran grabbed a light jacket and walked out the door, he felt a rumble and held the door. A man walking by stared.
"Hey, dude, are you alright there?" He asked, placing a hand on his shoulder
"Didn't you feel that??" Syaoran asked, getting his grip. The man stared at Syaoran weird and walked away.
Sakura sighed and flopped on the bed waiting for Syaoran. "I hope he gets here soon. The first thing I'm gonna do is give him a big hug!." Sakura said.
Syaoran shook the odd coldness he had and began to walk out the door.
He pressed the door bell
Sakura heard the door bell ring and ran to the door. She opened it and saw her knight in shining armor (lol) and gave him a huge hug. "Syaoran! Hey! I've missed you." She said and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Flash! Tomoyo grinned widley at the digital picture she had just taken of Sakura kissing Syaoran.
"This is going in my 'Passion' album!" She exclaimed. "Oh, but I must make sure to bring a few extra memory cards for Tokyo Tower. I don't wanna miss out when the bell tolls midnight. Ohohoho..."
Sakura sweatdropped. "Tomoyo-chan! You're brining a few extra memory cards?" Sakura just smiled. Nothing was going to ruin this special night. She was so excited to be able to be with everyone. It was just like the old days. "Oh guys maybe we should invite Meiling-chan too. I haven't seen her forever."
Title: Re: CardCaptor Sakura - Monolithic Times
Post by: Hypercrabby on February 06 2006, 01:09 pm
"Oh, I have already invited her along as well she'll be here soon." Tomoyo smiled. "I also thought, well..." she blushed slightly. "Maybe...perhaps we could invite Hiragizawa-Kun as well..." It had been only a few months ago that Tomoyo had finally admitted to herself that she had come to love Eriol. However, to show signs of her affections for him around the others was still very embarressing. Eriol still didn't know. Sakura would never guess, but Syaoran might suspect something. She would have to be careful.
"Yeah! That's great! I'm so glad you invited Meiling-chan! Yeah I think it would be great if Eriol-kun could come as well." Sakura smiled and ran over to Tomoyo and grabbed her hands. "I'm so excited Tomoyo-chan! Its gonna be so great to see everyone. It will be just like old times like when we were little." Sakura was so excited that she could barely contain it.
somewhere up in the cloud's
A being floated there watching the two woman, after listening to them she determined that their name's where 'Sakura' and 'Tomoyo' with that in mind she sighed
She could pick up the magical energy radiating off of the 21 year old girl. "Maybe..." the being said and floated toward the Tokyo Tower, "This is the only landmark that I can use to teleport her to our world, perhaps she can help." the being nodded and wondered. "I think, if I understood their language correctly, that they would be heading here." she said and floated up to the top, then sat down on the roof and waited
Somewhere in another land
A girl with long, waist length black hair burst from the forest of dense trees, panting. Behind her, the sound of cursing and the crushing of leaves followed. She smiled to herself for a minute before she continued running, "Serves them right...trying to steal the relics. But the two weren't carrying all four.." The girl continued running on until she came to a deep river, "Darn! Of all nights...it had to be a full moon!" The men found their way out of the forest and were steadily catching up to her, her eyes widened and she faced the river, closing her eyes. An eerie glow appered around her, and the river parted, creating a path for her to walk to the other side. Once she crossed, the river rushed back into it's place, "I promised that nobody would ever take the relics. I intend to keep my promise..." She thought to herself again.
The splashing of the river sounded, breaking the scilence of the night. She continued to run off into the night, "They're crazy...running through that river, and on a full moon!" the girl hissed to herself. The amuelt clutched in her hand shone in the light of the moon, she glanced at it breifly before turning her eyes back to the path before her, "I'll show him...I can protect the relics! I'll show him...I'll prove him wrong..."
They ate in peace when a watress walked by with a cups of martini on her tray. She stared at Syaoran with playful eyes.
"Hey hottie." She said. Syaoran backed away.
"Taken." He said and continued eating. Sakura seemed not to have noticed.
"Well, well. It's been years." The watress said. Her brown hair flowed in pigtails. She wore a kimono and a sword attached to her belt Syaoran couldn't tell whether it was real or not.
"Years? Years since what?" Syaoran asked.
"Oh now, you don't remember me? Poor Miyuki?" She asked, placing four cups of martini down.
"Why four, there's only three of us here!" Syaoran said, pointing towards the cups.
"One is arriving soon." She said and walked off. "Ohh and, don't say i didnt warn you. I think you should be going home, before midnight." She winked and went to the next table, normal though..unlike she was with him.
Tomoyo glanced at the waitress and back at Syaoran.
"Now that's unusual. It's not everyday that waitresses carry around swords. Did that woman say something to you, Li-Kun?"
Syaoran didn't appear to be listening, his focus still remained on the waitress. Sakura looked up from the brochure she was reading.
It seemed an awefully lot that he was staring at her butt. Sakura gave a glare.
"Who is she...and what does she  mean..by..." He shrugged and turned back to the table, noticing the two girls glaring at him.
"What..?" He asked, backing away a little in fear.
On the roof
The being shock their head. "Baka...." they said and flew up into the air. An ear piercing sound split the sky and caused her to glance at Tokyo Tower. "This is bad... someones taken one of the-" she said before another sound split the silence. "No.... all four are taken!" she said
She could hear the earth screaming in pain, despite there not being any natural movement, she snarled at her own weakness at not protecting those relics. She turned back and stared at the young girl, and at the young man, both held magical powers that she could detect. She looked up at the stares. "It's almost midnight...." she said and laid her hand out, a staff appeared which was ordained with crystal's and diamond's that ran up the length. She then began to chant a spell, to transport the young girl and the young man to another world, unknowingly she would mischant it, and transport everyone at that table and around it to that point in time
"Oh look! Here come Meiling-Chan and Hiragizawa-Kun!" Tomoyo exclaimed. The two friends came into the crowded resturaunt.
"Man," groaned Meiling, "Sorry we're so late, but you guys could have warned us about this sudden get-together! We had to run to the train to make it on time!"
Eriol pulled up a chair next to Tomoyo. "How are you? It's been a while, hasn't it?"
Feeling her face turn red, Tomoyo pulled her napkin in front of her face, hiding all but her eyes. "Y-Yes it has..."
"I'll just slip between you two lovebirds" Meiling said, pulling up a chair between Sakura and Syaoran.
Syaoran felt the rumble again, but when he looked around, the only people who seemed to have noticed was Sakura, and that creepy waitress. She was headed his way again. He satred at his watch. 11:48 pm.
Sakura looked around. She grabbed Syaoran's hand. "What was that?" She asked. "I felt something shake. Do you think anyone else noticed?" She asked. She saw Syaoran shake his head. She sighed. She looked at the clock and realized that it was 11:49 pm now. "Oh! We should head out of here and go to the tower. The bells are about to ring in the new year!" Sakura exclaimed and she felt her happiness come back.
Syaoran gave a last glance at Miyuki and turned away smiling to sakura.
"Yes, we should. But we gotta pay first. Let's split." Syaoran said then mumbled a bit and after a long while, the finally came up with the number. "$12.82 each please!" He said to Sakura, waving his hands in the air for the watress.
Miyuki came around, no longer holding anything.
"Yes?" She smiled slyly.
"Err..we're paying."
"$61.40 please." Miyuki said, taking out a pad of paper from her pocket. Syaoran raised an eyebrow. The paper seemed to be old but she placed it down on the table as a receipt.
"You can hardly see the numbrs? where did you get this from." Syaoran said, squinting to see the numbers, but he knew it waas correct.
The being nodded to itself, it was time. Ten minutes before midnight and she was ready to cast the temporal spell, it would weaken, possibly kill her, but she knew if she didn't do it then there would be chance for her own world, plus this one.
She slammed her staff into the ground, and began to chant several words in a language that no one could understand. A ring formed under her, a moon was present at one end, and the sun was present at the other, yellow particles of energy spread out from the ring and began to engolf Tokyo Tower, it would take exactly ten minutes for the spell to work, meaning once it hit midnight, the two she had chosen would be teleported to her world, but also their friends would in the process for she would mischant the spell slightly.
"Is it just me, or is there tension building up here." Syaoran said out of nowhere. Miyuki waited for the money, but it seemed she was also waiting..or rushing for something else.
"Come on! Can't you people count?" She said, she became all frustrated.
"What's wrong with you?" Syaoran said, suddenly standing up.
"You don't have time! Get out of here!" Miyuki yelled.
The group stumbled out of the resturaunt, Miyuki slightly shoving them.
"But we haven't paid yet!" Tomoyo yelled.
"Then it's on me!" Miyuki shouted "Just leave!"
Eriol looked at his watch."Wow! We better hurry if we're gonna make it to the tower. There's only eight minutes until the new year!"
Meiling's eyes widened."Whaaat?! Man, that means we have to run again!"
The streets were hardly filled. Everyone in Tokyo seemed to have shut themselves in bars or their houses to begin the countdown, making it easy for Sakura, Syaoran and the others to run straight towards their destination. Tomoyo glanced up at the crimson tower. It may have been the running that impaired her vision, but Tokyo Tower looked like it had something surrounding it...orbs of light...
The elevator was squished.
"Look, we can't leave!" Syaoran said, pointing at the full elevator.
"Yes you can, there's stairs, ever heard of those?" Miyuki pointed at the stairs.
"Nooo! We're not going down those!" Meiling complained. Miyuki was desperate, she was desperate hoppping that the samem thing wouldn't happen again. Why the heck did she have to be invovled? She pulled them into a cicle and began to chant, her clothing began to change and they realized that they're all glowing.
The being snarled. "Someones trying to interfer with the teleport." She said."Yumi! Soshi!"
"Yes Ma'am?" Two figures appeared next to her. "Someone is trying to cancel this teleport, it's already half way done and cannot be stopped, but if they succeed it'll throw both this world and our world into complete destruction!" She said
The two figures bowed. "We shall use our magic to help reinforce the chant." they said and changed their form into that of two energy crystals, the crystals pulsed and the the magic ring changed from yellow to red, then to dark purple, then to green. The power from the ring pulsed outward and engolfed the tower.
She smiled when she sensed the magical props of this unknown person weakening, albiet it wasn't by much, this unknown person was strong, perhaps strong enough to cancel her chant, but she had to keep going
Meanwhile, in the other world
The wind picked up outside the town of Masdaiea two people ran through the forest toward what appeared to be a lake, one of the two tripped and fell on the ground. "Come on sis!" The other yelled as they grabbed the hand of the one who fell and continued to run
(I'm a little confused on the teleportation thing. Lol)
Sakura felt another shake as they were running towards the tokyo tower. "Guys, did anyone feel that?" No one gave a reply. They finally made it to the tower and she heard Tomoyo shout "How pretty!" Sakura was totally amazed by the site of the tower. The snow was falling sightly and she thought she saw something glowing on top of it. Just then she felt another shake.
*i thought they were ON the tower...*
Syaoran gripped Sakura's hands tightly as they argued with Miyuki more.
"Stop." Syaoran yelled.
"Go!" Miyuki yelled back, she seemed close to tears. "Please, this is nto what you think.!"
"I know what this is! You're trying to kill us!" Syaoran said, and stopped the whole group.
They were at the bottom of the tower thanks to Miyuki's magic. Miyuki looked up at the moon, the three beings floating became clearer..the wind picked up, the snow came down heavier, everyone seemedd to be in a state of drowsiness.
"Noo...noo." Miyuki cried as she stopped arguing and walked off.
The beinging smiled and the magic blasted out from the tower, it swirled around and downward toward the ground, engulfing the many pylon's that where used to keep the tower up. When the magical orb's reached the ground they rushed toward Sakura and her group, engolfing them in some sort of magical ring
"Now.." She said and outplaced her hands. The magical energy in her hands changed color, before vanishing. The orb's that had surrounded Sakura and her group suddenly turned into a bubble which began to absorb them into another world
(ooc: Meh! I want to know everyone's character *Sakura, Syaoran, etc....* reaction to this, my next post will place then in the dimension that the story actually takes place in ^_^)
Sakura gasped and grabbed onto Syaoran. "What's happening!?" She yelled. She looked around and could barley see anything. She heard the bells ring, she knew that they were ringing in the new year. She felt herself being transported and she had no idea where.
No it was more like the world around them was being changed. The roads eroded, the trees seem to tore away, as if time itself was moving faster.
"Sakkura! Are you there?" Syaoran yelled. He felt her hand, but he didn't hera her voice.
12:00am
happy new years.
Sakura was still holding Syaoran's hand. She could hear him faintly. "I'm here!" She yelled. She was wondering what was happening. She could still faintly hear the new year bells ringing.
The being sighed and fell to one knee, before Sakura and her friends vanished from the area, she fell forward, out of breath. "Princess!" Her two minions yelled
"I'm.... ok......." She said and got back up. "That... took a lot... out... of... me...." she wisped her hair back.
Now in the other world
The kid stood there between his sister and the two men. He held his weapon toward the enemy soldier who swung at him, he brought his weapon up but the soldiers sword sliced right through it, hitting the kid in the chest and forcing him back against his sister. "Bro!" She said and laid him down, he had a gapping wound on the side of his chest, she turned toward the soldier. "Meany!!" she said and got up and brought her hands out. "I won't let you harm him!"
The two men looked at each other and laughed. "And what can a kid like you do about it?" they grinned, but the sudden lightning caused them to back away. "What the heck is that!" one of them yelled. The kid's sister looked at it before grinning. "Seem's you made the princess mad." she smiled at them, who backed off, not wanting anything to do with the princess, then ran into the forest
The girl was about to get up when six people fell through the whole in the sky and straight into the shallow lake, she knelt down next to her brother, scared about who these people might be
Sakura woke up and she was underwater. Surprisingly, she could breathe and talk. "What is this? Where am I?" She swam up to the top of the lake and noticed it was very shallow. She noticed everyone else was here in this strange place as well. "Syaoran, Meiling-chan, Tomoyo-chan, Eriol-kun? Your all here?" She turned around and looked at several strange people looking back at her frightened.
Tomoyo heard the bells ringing, strong at first then fainter and fainter as she and the others were engulfed in a strange warp. Or was it just her? She reached out her right arm as far as she could. Her fingers ran across smooth fabric. Eriol's jacket.
"Hiragizawa-Kun?!" She yelled. But there was no answer. Still, Tomoyo comforted herself with the thought that the cloth she felt belonged to Eriol and squeezed it.
Sudden cold pressure pushed her down. All the loud sounds of trees being ripped and the earth itself being carved by time was instanly muted. It took a few seconds for Tomoyo to realize that she was underwater. The cloth she held tugged and pulled her up to the surface.
"Are you alright, Daidouji-San?" Eriol's pale face came into focus.
"I think so", she quickly replied,"But what just happened? Where are the others?" The lake which they floated in was thick with fog.
Eriol frowned. "Someone has used an extremely powerful spell to get us here. I believe we've been transported to a different dimension of time. Ah--Tomoyo, your hand..."
Puzzled, Tomoyo looked down and realized her hand was still firmly clamped down on Eriol's jacket. Immediatley, she let go.
"I-I'm so sorry!"
"In any case, let's try to find the others."
The other world
The girl panted, exhasted as she had ran at her top speed as fast as she could. The amulet was no longer in her hand, nor was it around her neck, it was hidden away in a place no one would find. Figures were ahead of her, and they seemed to be holding swords, "Oh no...Now I'm dead..." panted the girl between breaths. Her curousity grew as she saw 2 others with them kneeling on the ground, which she hoped they weren't teamed up with the freaks in the masks.
Lightning flashed through the sky and it grew dark, a dark cloud rolled over the 4 figures ahead, and more bodies fell from the sky into the lake. The shouts of the men who called to their companions to stop her urgered her to keep moving, "There is no way around them...they'll get me if I do. Only one way, up!" she thought to herself.
Encreasing her speed, she lept into the air and jumped onto the surprised backs of the men, landing beside the two kneeling figures. Her guard never dropped even if these strangers seemed harmless.
The little girl stared at the strange person who had just knocked one of the men down. "Who-who are you?!" She said. "Please don't hurt us! We don't have anything for you to take!" she said
Her brother opened his eye's and looked at her, he got up on one leg but was rather off balance to begin with and couldn't keep his stance so he stayed back down on one knee. He felt his side and could tell he would need a healing spell once they got back to the village. He looked over at the lake and noticed the new people who had just appeared in the water, he was curious as to who they where, but then it dawned on him, an ancient legend about how people would appear when the crystal's of life disappeared, he wondered if these people where those mentioned in the legend. He looked at his sister then at the girl who stood before them. "Your attire...." he said then looked at the people in the lake.Children? he asked himself
She glanced at the little girl who stuttered asking her not to hurt them, "I won't hurt you...but those guys in the masks might. How long have they been chasing you?" Something suddenly fitted together, why would the men chase after these kids? They wouldn't-unless they had something they wanted,"I don't sence anything coming from them. They must have hidden it well."
She tried to stand up, but fell as soon as she tried, "Uhg...I feel so tired.." the girl panting once again. For some strange reason, the thought of an ancient prohecpy etched onto the walls of the ruins where the ruins were kept popped into her mind, "I never understood it...but now it's startng to make a little sence.."
He shook his head. "Those men... they wanted something." he said and looked at the people out in the lake, then gestured to his little sister, who nodded.
His little sister walked over to the edge of the cliff which overlooked the lake, she chanted something in her native language that caused a barrier to appear underwater, then slowly rise up to the top of the water, carrying anyone who might've been under, to the top. "There!" she chirped. "Now no one is stuck under water." she spun around on her heels and laughed, although the look on her brothers faced caused that smile on her face to go away.
He got up on one leg, this time managing to keep his balance. He heard a wolf in the distance and then another sound that told him this place wasn't safe. "I don't know who you people are." He said to Sakura and her group, although he truely didn't know there names. "But if you stay here you'll be in trouble, please follow us." he said and gestured for them to follow. His little sister ran over to the lady who had fallen to the ground and helped her up, her brother walked slowly toward the forest. "Our home is only a few Ki's from here." he said
Terms:
Ki - A term used for feet, in this case, Kaston and his little sister (Well, if you call a twelve year old girl 'little') only ran about three blocks from their home, so you do the math (Sorry, it's stupid but I truely don't know the distance three blocks has when it comes to feet)
I'll update the terms in each post as they are used
The girl smiled at the boy's little sister as she helped her up, "If you're wondering, I'm not as old as you think...I'm only 19." she said smiling. A sharp pain stabbed through her leg, wincing, she raised a hand to find the cause of it, and soon the pain was subdued to nothing but a mere itch. Smiling with satisfaction, she stood up and streched.
The new comers to the land seemed so out of place, espieclly their clothes, "The prohecy did say something about travelers from a distant land. But it doesn't look they traveled anywhere." Her eyes squinted, 2 of them had magical abilites in the group, and they were very strong magical abilites. Her hand shot to her heart and she quickly withdrew it trying to reassure herself that no one would get or find the relic, "Would you mind telling me why those men were chasing you?" she asked curiosuly once in the cool shade of the forest to the girl.
The girl shook her head. "We don't know," she lied. "they just came into our home and tried to arrest us, we don't truely know why." She said to the older lady. "Although..." she looked at the new comers. "The legend speaks of six people from a far away land. I thought it mean't six adults... not six kid's the same age as myself." she said curiously
Her brother was also in the same opinion, the new comers looked to be between the ages of ten and thirteen, although he wasn't at liberty to ask them why, only that he wanted to get back to the village fast.
It had taken them several minutes to walk back to the village. Either the villagers where to busy, or just didn't care about the new comers who had arrived.
Tomoyo looked around, a little timidly. In the back, there was a small fireplace crackling. Some foreign-looking fish were set up on a rack just above the crackling flames. There were various dried plants and herbs bound by string and pinned against the walls, filling the home with the smell of musk and jasmine. The small house had no tatami mats, but hard wood floors. Kaston strode on in, not hesitating to take off his shoes. The others went in right away. Akwardly, Tomoyo followed them in.
"So...where exactly is this village? Are we still in Japan?"she asked.
Miyuki fell to the ground with a loud thump, she was still tryingn to hold on to the modern realm
"I..told you so." She whispered and that was the last of her..or they thought.
Syaoran dragged Sakura above the water, taking off his thick jacket to put over Sakura's shivering body. He smiled, but also he was freezing. The moon rose above their heads and he noticed he was still holding on to that reciet from the rude waitress. They never really got around to paying though..
Kaston walked back into the room. "Ja... pen?" He asked and shook his head. "No... This is the County of Clow." said Kaston as he sat down on a wooden chair. His sister came in then, holding a plate full of food, also some sort of drink to, she set it down on the table next to them, then looked at the shivering girl. "Whats your names?" She asked them
(Isn't everyone supposed to be like younger here? Like 12-13? That was Kasawa just said in his post earlier.)
~~
Sakura smiled a little despite she was freezing from the cold water. "I'm Sakura. Sakura Kinomoto. We don't really know how we got here or whats going on but can you guys tell us anything?" She questioned. She was surprised at the room. Everything look so old fashioned but she was fascinated by it. "This is the kingdom of Clow?" Sakura questioned Kaston.
~~
(Oh yeah does Sakura and Syaoran still have the same abilties of magic as they did before when they were younger. Do they remember everything that happened when they were younger?)
Syaoran noticed that he felt...really..small. He felt everything above him higher than before. A sudden dizziness covered him, and as if a bat flew over, he blanked out and fell into the darkness of his mind.
When he opened his eyes and looked above, he saw Sakura's baby face looking down at him with curiosity. Surprisingly. Miyuki stood still in the corner of the room, speaking to Kaston, she seemed annoyed.
"I'm Tomoyo Daidouji," she said bowing slightly.
"Pleased to meet you, I'm Eriol Hiragizawa". Eriol had a strange smile on his face, Tomoyo noticed. It wasn't pleasant nor forced, but there was something strange about it...almost like his mind was elsewhere.
"Would you mind telling me..." he began,"Why this country is called 'Clow'? Perchance...is it named after a person?"
(Yes, everyone is between 10-13, it's up to those who play the character what age they want them to be, and yes, everyone still has there magic, only thing that was affected was there age =) )
He shook his head. "Not Kingdom, just County of Clow." he said to Sakura
Kaston then heard Eriol's question and looked at him. "The County of Clow was named after a famous young mage who revolted against the old kingdom. His name was Clow Reed." He walked over to a history book. "Our princess, Princess Sakura, went missing some time ago at first no one was worried." he smiled. "she had a thing for adventure so none of us, including my own father, tried to stop her when she would come into town"
His voice went from being happy, so being rather sad. "Then two years ago a new king was a pointed over the original king, this new king is a tyrant, and I won't say his name, only that he wields magic that no other mage can use, and Princess Sakura... bless her soul... I just wish we could find her. Before all this happened she had a strange power that allowed her to heal people, and to create such beautiful spectacles." he sighed and looked at Sakura. "I can't be ceratin if it's a mere coincedence that your name is Sakura, but, I beg you to help us. I can sense the amount of magic that is within all of you, you two-" he pointed at Sakura and Syaoran "- seem to have the largest amount of magic."
Nanase walked out of the house. "Pleasant night." she said and smiled, unbenowst to her, or anyone else, the house was being watched by two men in the forest, bow's raised, and arrows at the ready
"My," Tomoyo exclaimed, "What a strange coincidence that that there was a Sakura here as well."
"No," Eriol muttered. Everyone at the table turned to look at him. "There is no such thing as coincidence in this world, or any world for that matter. There is only Hitsuzen...I knew someone once who told me that..."
Meiling's eyes widened. "Then, maybe Kinomoto-san is supposed to be here! Like, it's fate!"
"Or perhaps she was brought here..."said Tomoyo, glancing at Eriol's focused face.
Ariana just sat silently listiening to the conversation and staring at the girl named Sakura. Titling her head to the side as the Kaston told the story that she had been told many times before as a young girl, "It can't be much of a coincidence...This girl, she looks just like Princess Sakura did as well." Opening her eyes, she didn't think that she was in need of anyone's hospitality any longer. Those men in the mask were sure to be back anyway for the relic- not that they were going to find it.
Ariana stood up and slipped on her hood as soon as Nanase walked out of the door, "I don't want to draw attention to myself, I just want to get the relics back to their orignial place..." she murmmed as she closed the door silently behind her, the night air cool on her face.
Kaston shook his head. "Coincedence's are things that don't exist in this world." He said and walked over to the fire place and threw in a log. "I don't know 'why' you where summoned here, but it must have something to do with the relic's that are kept in the shrine..." he said before striking a look toward the window
***
Nanase smiled at Ariana. "Pleasant evening huh?" she smiled at her and spun back around. "My bro knows this stuff better than me, after all, he's a magi guardian." she said without realizing this had just revealed her brothers true profession
In the forest near by one man brought his bow back. "That little girl just told us what we need to know." he said and lite the end of it with some sort of magi pulse. He brought the arrow back and then released it
"Well I'm heading back-" she said and turned around before getting hit in the back with an arrow, the blue light pulse blew over her body and forced her into the ground
Ariana stood beside the girl listiening to her talk, "My bro knows this stuff better than me, after all, he's a magi guardian." Her eyes widened, suddenly realizing that that was porbably the reason the men came after them.
An arrow whistled through the night and hit the girl as she turned, "Nanase!" Ariana called. Quickly she glared into the woods and senced that something-somebody was there. Stooping down, she made a magic barrier and tried to remove the arrow out of the Nanase's back, but got shocked as she tried, "This is strong...it's a magi barrier. Maybe I can break it..." Ariana muttered. She threw back her hood and placed her hands over Nanase's body and began chanting.
Sakura and everyone else ran out of the house. "What happened to her?" Sakura asked concerned for the young girl. She looked at Ariana and saw her chanting. Sakura just stared at her confused and thought She has strong magical power. Just who is she?. Sakura thought as looked down at her hands and looked around at everyone. She has just realized that everyone has changed ages. Everyone looked so much younger. "Wait what happened to everyone?" She had just began to realize that the time warp and them being transported to another world caused them to change ages. It was like going back in time or something. "Syaoran.." Sakura said and gently slipped her hand into his hand. "Just where are we?" She whispered.
"Sakura, I just want you to know..I really do love you and..if we ever - for any cause have to leave each other, know that it's by force." Syaoran said softly, he felt strange inside. It was some type of bad feeling.
Kaston moved in front of the group. "Explainination is not a luxury we have right now." he said and chanted something in his native language, a split second later a staff appeared in his hand, he twirled it around. "TOKU!" He yelled and a barrier soon appeared around the group.
Nanase opened her eye's and looked around. "Huh?" she blinked and looked up at Ariana. "Arigatou..." she said
Several more arrows flew through the air, only to be stopped by Kaston's barrier. "This village isn't safe for us, we need to head to Gukolan, a sea side village several Ri from here." he said and brougth his staff down. "Your friend looks like he's sick." he said to Sakura. "Best to carry him and get going." he slashed his staff backward, then thrusted it forward. Syaoran saw something. All he could remember was fainting and now he was standing in the middle of a field, not too  far form the city. He was smiling, he could tell. He was the same age as he is now.
"Do you think, Sakura-hime, that i will grow to be strong, and tall?" Syaoran ran around in circles, pretending to wave his sword. Sakura gave no reactoin.
"What's wrong?" Syaoran said, kneeling in front of her.
"Syaoran, what if i go away?" Sakura asked, she had fear in her eyes.
"What are you saying?" Syaoran asked, settling himself into the grass.
"Syaoran, father wants to send me away!" Sakura yelled. "The..high priests say i'm bad luck." She frowned, fiddling in finger in the grass.
"No way! They would'nt!" Syaoran said, witha serious face. "Don't worry hime. I'll go with you."
Sakura smiled with comfort.
"Sakura..I" He couldn't find his breath to say anything.
back in Sakura's world...
Kero lay on Sakura's bed, his orange-yellow stomach bloated with cake. He groaned, unable to move.
"Urgh....too..much..cake"
Suddenly, the plushie-like creature sat up. Something wasn't right. He sensed a strange aura far away. And, where is Sakura?  He knew she was with Syaoran and Tomoyo, but was she supposed to gone for this long?
Hesitating a bit, he lay back down and yawned widely. "I'm sure she'll be all right..." With that said, he curled up and went to sleep.
"We can stay here," Kaston said, "At least until morning, then we can try and figure out what is going on here." He wasn't to sure what had happened. Sakura just looked at Syaoran strangley. "Yeah okay. Syaoran you can rest here. You be better soon." Sakura said and helped him to the cote. "Its okay." She said and looked into his brown eyes. Sakura turned to Kaston and said "Well we were celebrating the ringing of the bells for the new year. We were at the Tokyo Tower and I saw a faint light at the top of it. The next thing I remember was being transported to this strange world. I just really wanna know why we somehow turned back into 12 year olds. Do you know why this is happening?"
Title: Re: CardCaptor Sakura - Monolithic Times
Post by: Kasawa Lanford on February 15 2006, 02:19 pm
Kaston followed his arms and walked around the fire for several minutes while thinking. "It's... possible... the high priest summoned you here.. but that doesn't explain you being turned into twelve year olds." he lowered his head and thought about it some more. "The high priest wouldn't willingly transfer someone from another world, although Princess Sakura does have that ability, I doubt she would do it without a very good reason, and even so, the ability to transfer someone doesn't force there age to reduce... unless...." he said and looked at Nanase
"It's possible someone tried to interfer with her chant, her teleport magic, those with the ability to transcend the different worlds need a steady flow of magical energy in order to keep a stable chant, however, if someone trys to block that chanting, then it's possible for the chant to go wrong, thus, your reduction in age." Nanase didn't want to answer, because it revealed who she was, to some degree. "I don't anyone who would openly interfer with someone's teleport magic, but whoever they are must be really stupid." she shook her head. "Because it's there fault you ended up like that."
Kaston had to agree. "It was either Princess Sakura, or the High Priest who did this, neither of which would do it without a good reason." he sighed and sat down on the ground. "I think... the best thing we can do is try and FIND the person who brought you here, then have them explain it to us, but we can't go straight to the castle, that'd be suicide, the best thing we can do is venture to the different citys within the Country of Clow and see if anyone's heard anything." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Although that's about fifteen different citys..." he mumbled to himself. "You have any other questions?" he smiled at them
"So, if Princess Sakura is the one who summoned us...then that must mean she's still alive somewhere." Eriol muttered to himself. Tomoyo glanced at her friends in their youth. Syaoran's hair had lost it's dark brown slickness and returned to light brown messyness, Meiling's slender face was now round and rosy-cheecked, Sakura's Japanese eyes were back to being wide and expressive, and Eriol's pale poker face was more easy to read than ever. That's strange..., she wondered. Tomoyo hadn't remembered that Eriol had once had such an honest face, then again, she wasn't as keen to notice Eriol back then. She smiled, glad that now she did.
"Well," she said, "We've been through a lot, but let's enjoy our regained youth for now. We'll get old again soon enough!"
"You're awfully perky," Meiling pouted, "After getting transported to another world, loosing all our maturity and getting attacked! Here's what I wanna know. Why the heck are we here?! I mean sure, some of us have magic, but I sure don't! Daidouji-San doesn't! What does this priest and princess want with us?!"
((Just a reminder that others can play Eriol and Meiling, too. They're involved as well. Poor Meiling hasn't said much.))
Nanase looked at Meiling. "We can't answer that..." the young girl said with sad eyes. "We can only speculate that something went wrong with the teleport, and you where brought along as well." Did Nanase want to tell her that she could since some magic with in her? Within ALL of them?
"Please understand, we only know that you came here quite suddenly, the best person to talk to would be the princess." Kaston said and walked around the fire once more. "When we find her-" He knelt down on the ground. "-You may talk to her." he smiled. He wanted to tell them that they should cherish there youth, but that had already been said, should he also tell them that they didn't age? No... that was something that wouldn't help them. "Now, get some rest, nights here are very long, so you should be rested by morning, it also seems like we'll have some rain, and rain here is nice, and a good omen." He rested his back up against the wall, his little sister laid herself over his lap and the two soon fell asleep
Ariana stared into space barley listiening to the conversation at hand. Her hood was still placed over her head, and she could feel the amulet glowing, "I'll bring you back...Don't worry," she murmmed quietly. Her eyes felt heavy with sleep and soon everyone in the cave had fallen asleep.
Struggling to her feet, Ariana tiptoed silently out of the cave into the moonlit night, "They wouldn't notice if I was gone. No one ever did and no one ever will..." A cool breeze caught her cloak, and it whirled around her. Ariana turned her face to the moon, and started to chant, a pale pink light englufed her and in a moment she was gone.
Morning seemed to come quickly, everyone stretched and yawned - forgetting how dangerous it was here.
"Where's that girl." Miyuki shot at Kaston.
"what a warm good morning." Syaoran shot back. Miyuki stared.
"I'm telling you, taht girl...is missing." Everyone seemed to stare at her with unease. They shrugged.
"So..Kaston, what are our plans for today?" Syaoran asked in curiosity
Kaston blinked and stared at Syaoran. "Once everyone is awake, we'll head on out to the sea shore vtown of Gukolan, from there we can figure out what to do. Perhaps pay a few of the town's shrines a visit." He said and looked down at his still sleeping sister. "Once I get this growth off me." he grinned. "I don't thnk we'll have much trouble except with how young you all look." He said and pointed at them. "Although we could get by that if we where to pass as a traveling group."
He really didn't like that idea at all, mostly because he knew the other three countrys well, and one of which would prove to be very difficult. Kaston slow pushed his sister off him and laid her head on the ground, then got up. "I'll be near the lake when you are ready go to." with that he left for the lake
Sakura yawned and stretched. "Wow I'm so tired. It still didn't seem like we got much sleep.." Sakura said. She looked at Syaoran and smiled. "I kept worrying about you. Are you okay now?" She asked him. Sakura truly hoped that Syaoran was okay. She really wanted to talk to Princess Sakura and get this whole thing situated. "This is really strange that there's a princess named Sakura and my name is Sakura... I wonder if we have any relation..?" Sakura spoke aloud. They were supposed to be her thoughts but she apparentley had just said it aloud to everyone. She shrugged and looked at Syaoran. "Are you sure you're alright? I was so worried.."
Syaoran gave an assuring nod. "I'm find, don't worry. You can get more sleep on the ship. Remember we are physically only so small now, more sleep is needed." Syaoran smiled.
Questions flew past his mind.
Why is Miyuki not shrunken..?
Who really is this Kaston guy?
He knew instantly he wasn't going to get his answer, shrugging the questions off, trying to make them not bug himi so much, he walked out into the sun.
Tomoyo rubbed her neck wearily. Sleeping on a rocky floor had made her stiff.
"A city by the sea...That sounds lovley." she said.
"Makes me wanna go swimming!" Meiling shouted,"Maybe we could plan a beach brake at some point."
Eriol chuckled to himself, making Meiling glare at his smugness.
"What're you smirking about?!"
"We just got out of the water and already you're eager to get back in."
Meiling blushed, her eyes narrowing,"Oh shut up!"
Everyone laughed at this. It looked like the start to a good day.
Syaoran felt a strange sense of loss. He had made Sakura worried, he didn't even know what was wrong with himself. He's been weak lately and unable to talk and laugh with others. He sighed.
Miyuki walked out to join him, but she seemed allergic to the sun, she quickly backed out to the shade.
"You're waking up." Miyuki said, eyes squinted, hiding from the sun.
"What? What's with you? Who are you?" Syaoran said. What a strange person..
"Miyuki. You're waking up, blindie. Nothing's with me." Miyuki replied. Syaoran ignored her, once again. She always seemed to go on about things that nevcer happened, or don't make sense.
Sakura got up and walked towards the exit of the cave. She walked out into the strong beams of the sun. She laughed a little and spun around. "Wow! What a beautiful day! Ne, Syaoran?" She said and poked him. She had noticed a little change in his personality. He was much more quiter and seemed like he was more tired than usual. "Are you sure your alright?" Sakura asked him again. He nodded and it made her feel reassurerd. "I'm glad! Now lets get going! I wanna know more about this country and what's going on." Sakura exclaimed and grabbed his hand. "Come on Syaoran! Come on everyone!" Sakura said.
Kaston rested against the tree near the lake. The smell was pleasant and calmed his soul. "Looks like it'll be raining later today." He said
Yep he heard his sister say to him through a link, although in the cave, she still appeared as if she was asleep
"You think we should actually tell them that, as guardians under Princess Sakura, we have the ability to talk telepathicly?"
No, I don't think we should. They are already suspious of us and we don't need them to become further suspious. By the way, you did feel it right?
Kaston nodded. "Yes I did... Princess Sakura is near by but I can't be certain of the distance, for all we know she could be just a few feet away... or on the other side of the planet..."
Lets just search for her, we both know her favorite places to go to.
He laughed to himself. "Yes... ok..." he said and looked over his shoulder and toward the cave. "I wonder if they are ready?" he asked himself
The group began their walk to Gukolan. There were clouds thickening in the sky, but the humidity was just low enough to make the air pleasantly warm. Meiling looked at the sky."This weather is a lot like Hong Kong, isn't it Syaoran?"
Syaoran didn't seem to be listening. Tomoyo furrowed her brows at his silence. Suddenly, she felt a warm hand on her shoulder. Eriol leaned in and whispered into her ear.
"You've noticed Li-Kun's distance from us, haven't you?" With the sudden closeness of Eriol, it was all Tomoyo could do but keep from blushing. She nodded, avoiding eye contact.
"Do you...do you sense anything, Hiragizawa-kun?" she asked quietly. At this, Eriol closed his eyes.
"No..." he mumbled,"I mean, not exactly. The problem is, there's too much interference. With so many spells being cast, it is hard to pinpoint whether some magic force is specifically effecting Li-kun or not."
Tomoyo glanced over at Sakura. Her hand was clasped tightly around Syaoran's, a wide grin on her face. It was as if this huge change in their lives wasn't terrifying at all. That is one of the reasons Tomoyo loved Sakura so deeply. Her ability to smile in the darkest of times. She was a ray of hope for everyone.
"I know..." Eriol sighed, "I don't want there to be anything wrong with Li-Kun, either. Not when Sakura-San is so happy."
Tomoyo's eyes widened. Hiragizawa-Kun is able to read my thoughts now?! Worrying about Eriol figuring out her feeling's for him, she turned crimson red.
"You're not physcic, are you?"
Eriol adjusted his glasses akwardly,"If I was my life would be much simpler, Daidouji-san. I can read fluxuations in magic, not human emotion..."
It may have been the light, but Tomoyo could have sworn that Eriol's glasses were slightly fogging up.
Kaston and his sister where up ahead a little bit, both on occasion would look behind them to see if the group was still following them. "Hey bro?"
"hmmm?" Kaston said while looking around
Nanase glanced behind her and moved up to his side. "You think we'll actually find her?"
He shrugged. "The port town is where we should look, the Master and Mistress there can give us a ride to one of the other countrys."
She smiled. "Thats good! We can see Nanoha again!!" She chirped
Her big brother smiled slightly, although there live's where full of responsbility, this was a first time since they took on these positions that either could actually act 'normal'
Kaston looked at him then looked forward again. "The village does have mage's in it to help protect it from natural disasters, but their called 'natural mages' " he said and thought about it. "There might be a few who are connected to the spirit world, after all, this is the Country of Clow, and well known for it's mage's and spirits, so you might find a few there."
Nanase nodded. "It's also a port town, so there will be a lot of people there waiting for ships, or just mellowing about."
Syaoran stared into space at their answers.
"Well, don't think i'm weird. It's just a wonder." Syaoran smiled and closed his eyes. He let the gentle waves of the seaside hit him and the shining rays of the sun light him. His spirits were high until..
*BAM* He got that sense of dissiness again, he looked over the Kaston on his side, and Miyuki in the tree, they began to blur and spin, he felt himself fall to the ground, but he felt light.
There were screams of terror when the bright flash of blue light eroded the beautiful Tokyo Tower. People ran for their lives, running away. But there was no running away, the light closed on them from every direction..they poofed somewhere else. Some froze, actually MOST froze.
Syaoran suddenly rememberd, that was..a few days ago, before they came  here.
There was a floating figure, with a staff in hand and in the staff..something looked trapped..
Sakura told everyone who had already turned around and were looking down at Syaoran. "What should we do?" Sakura said and looked back and forth between everyone's confused faces. "He's sick.. he just has to be.. why else would he faint like this?" Sakura said and tried to lift him a little. "Syaoran! Syaoran wake up!" Sakura yelled and then she suddenly saw his brown eyes open a little.
As soon as Ariana appered in front of the entrace to the relic's shrine, she didn't sence anything wrong with it, "You're almost there, just hold on..." she murmmed again to the relic. The girl disappered inside of the ruin, but didn't see the figures that were following her inside.
Soon, Ariana came across a rockslide in the middle of her path, "That's strange...Nothing like this happened before, I wonder-," something chocked her neck, and broke her airway and a cruel chuckle came from behind. Ariana clutched her neck and tried to  break the spell, but nothing happened, "A-I have to get this relic back, but...help.." she thought. Slowly, she dropped into unconciness, clutching her heart. The cloaked figures stepped over her body with an evil grin on their faces.
Kaston stopped and looked behind him. "Where almost to the town. We'll have a doctor look at him." He said to Sakura and placed his hand on her shoulder. "I'm sure everything will be alright, ok?" he smiled at her then got up. "Where a good fifteen - twenty minute walk from the town." He said and gestured to his sister. Sakura smiled at Nanase and Kaston. "Arigato gozimasu. I really appreciate it." Sakura really hoped that Syaoran would be okay. She didn't want anything to be wrong with him. She loved him too much and it made matters worse that they were in a strange world without knowledge of alot of things. "Nanase-chan, is the doctor in the town we're going to a really good doctor?" Sakura questioned. She wanted to be sure that Syaoran recieved the best medical attention he could possibly get.
Nanase shook her head. "The best doctors are at the castle, but.... we can't go there... the doctor we know is one of is the one of took care of my big brother when we was little." she looked at him and noticed his face was slightly red. "Whats wrong big brother?"
"Er.. nothing." he said and didn't turn to meet her gaze, although after several minutes he sighed. "He was also the one who helped give birth to you because the princess asked only for him."
She smiled, but then the two caught themselves, would Sakura notice what they said? That the Princess gave BIRTH to Nanase? AND to him? The two only hoped Sakura, nor the others, would notice, or ask.
"Anyway..." Kaston said. "He's good enough to be trusted, so yes, he's a good doctor." he said quickly changing the subject
Tomoyo, hardly listening to what the others were saying, helped support Syaoran as well. During her subtle glances toward Eriol, she saw how focused on his own thoughts he was. I suppose he's searching for magic affecting Li-Kun. What could have happened to him? The rest of us seem to be fine. There definatly was something in the air that bothered Tomoyo. The atomsphere around her seemed calm, apart from the worry of Syaoran's health. So why did it bother her so much? She looked up again, checking for anything seeming out of place. Sakura, shoulders starting to shake, looked like she was on the bringe of tears.
"Don't worry, Sakura-chan," Tomoyo said giving Sakura her warmest smile, "Li-kun was in a lake, and then slept in a cave. Such conditions are natural to bring out a cold. I'm sure he'll be fine."
Sakura was still confused about what Kaston and his sister were talking about. She looked up at Tomoyo who had given her a warm smile. Tomoyo always made her feel better no matter what situation they were in. "Arigato Tomoyo-chan." She said. Sakura felt the same strange feeling that Tomoyo had felt in the air too. She didn't like it but didn't know what it was. Sakura was still worried for Syaoran, she was still concered about what Nanase had said about the doctor they were going to wasn't exactly the best one. (ooc: If I over-do the scare factor here please tell me in a PM or on MSN and I'll re-write this ok? :) this event is one of the many obstacles that the group will encounter, and I'm saying this only because we are FAR from the ending, in fact, where not even close to the middle :tongue3: )
The group soon arrived at the edge of the town, Kaston was about to walk further when he felt something odd about the town and stopped. "Somethings... wrong..." he said and squited his eyes but couldn't make heads or tails of what it was. "I'll go and check it out, please stay here ok? That means you to Miyuki!" He didn't trust her at all
Nanase got up but her big brother turned toward her. "stay with the group ok?" he said and took off. Nanase stared him as he disappeared over the bridge that lead into the town.
He walked through the gates and looked around. The dust swelled up and moved across the ground, he noticed a distinct lack of people. "Where is everyone....." he said and looked around, a chill came down his back when he heard a ghostly voice behind him, he spun on his heels and looked toward where he 'thinks' he heard it coming from, but there was nothing there. "Huh?"
Voices could be heard all over the town and it was frightening him to no end. He took several steps back before backing into something that moved, he turned around and his face turned a shade of white, the next thing he knew was running across the courtyard and toward the bridge, but before he could get there he slammed into something... 'invisible' and fell backwards, he got back up and looked, his sister was standing on the bridge and she apperently couldn't see him.
"Pray... food... nice of you to show up..." came a voice from behind him, he turned around. "You..." Kaston said
The strange voice snickered before moving it's boney hand up, several boney hands sprang up from the ground and grabbed Kaston by his ankles and arms, before dragging him into the church. "Lets see if they can get to you, before I turn you into one of my slaves." the voice laughed mischivously
Meanwhile, Nanase was waiting outside on the bridge. "What is taking him so long....." Nanase said with worry
"I wonder if something happened to him...Hiragizawa-kun, do you notice anything unusual?" Tomoyo asked.
Eriol shuddered slightly."I-I can't say exactly, but something is wrong. I'm not sure if it endangers Kaston-kun, but you feel it too, don't you Sakura-san?"
Meiling leaned forward a bit to look past the bridge."Well, I don't see anything wrong. I don't get why we can't just go inside!"
Tomoyo walked over to where Meiling was standing and squinted her eyes down the path.
"You never know..."She murmured,"Sometimes the most innocent of places can be dangerous, too."
Nanase shook her head. "If your going to just stand there then I'll go alone." She said and took off toward the town. She got only a few feet for running straight into a barrier, she moved back and ran her hand across it. She snarled and pushed on it but it still didn't budge
The girl sighed and called upon her own set of abilities, a sword appears out of her hands, she slashed forward and the barrier split. "Yata!" she yelled before something slammed into her, sending her flying across the land and into a tree that was right next to the group. "Ow...." she said and got up. "What was THAT?" she said and watched as the barrier closed back up
Ariana woke up in a cold, damp cell with little light in the room. As soon as her eyes adjusted, Ariana tried to stand up, but was pulled back down. Looking down at her feet, heavy metal chains were chained to the wall. Placing her hands over the chains, they broke easily and she stood up advancing on the lock on the cell door. A slight tinkling came from behind her and Ariana whipped around, her eyes widening as a sharp metal chain was coming towards her like a snake.
The chain clasped around her whole body bringing it down hard to the floor, "You aren't going anywhere until you give me what I want..." hissed an evil voice. Ariana tried to scream and protest, but she couldn't, the chain held her too tight. A cold hand swept a finger down her cheek and she shuddered, "This isn't normal...Is this who he said to watch for?" Ariana thought to herself, "Not going to tell me...? Pity, you're such a pretty thing too. Guess I'll do this myself," the cold voice said again. The cell slowly faded away under Ariana, and soon another room appered before her. She struggled, feeling magic being cast over her, and soon her eyes fell heavy.
"What are you guys blind?!" Meiling snapped. "Get out of your own little world and look at what's happened to Nanase-san!"
Tomoyo crouched down next to Nanase. "Are you alright? We didn't see anything...you just flew back!"
Following Nanase's previous steps, Eriol walked towards the barrier and ran his hand across it. "Hm...a barrier spell...One with about the same power as the Maze card, I see. But I wonder...Sakura-san, you brought your cards, right? Perhaps you could try using Sword."
"Ano.. um.. well yes. I should be able to use the cards again especially since I'm the same age as I was before when I used them." Sakura said to everyone. "I hope this will work." She said. She reached in her pocket and grabbed her star key. The key that hides the powers of the stars, reveal your true form before me. I, Sakura, command you under our contract. Release!" She chanted. Luckly, her wand apperared and she would be able to use it. "I'm so glad. Okay, well I'll try to use the sword card." Sakura grabbed the card and threw it in the air. She twirled her wand and hit the card. "Sword!" She shouted. A light, magical power came over her wand and transformed it into the sword. "I'm glad that worked." She sighed. She was going to try her hardest to brake through the barrier and try to find out what was going on with Kaston.
Nanase sighed and looked up at Tomoyo. "Arigatou.. I'm fine.." she said and got up and stared at the barrier. "If you can break it.. please.." she said
***
Kaston's eyes flickered open and he glanced around, he could see the floor below him, but when he tried to move his arms they went only a foot before being stopped, he glanced back and saw that he was cuffed to the wall. "Wonderful...." he said
"Is it?" A voice spoke and he looked around. "I didn't think you would awake, your much stronger than you let yourself show."
"Who are you?" Kaston asked and glancd around. "I am fear, death, chaos, I am something you fight against, but something you won't defeat." the voice sounded rather happy about this. "Without Sakura your powers have wained, and unless you can find someone who is equally or stronger than her, you won't make it out alive..."
He sighed. "He 'spawned' you didn't he?"
The voice didn't speak but instead was silent, was it distracted by something? "That power.." it said before it's cold influence vanished from the air around him
Syaoran rolled his eyes and grabbed the standing Sakura and began to run, soon, they were out of site from the others, in the darkness of the cave.
"Sakura..Do you hear that?" Syaoran whispered, there was a loud breathing sound.
Two eye's watched the people
"So... you are where this magic is coming from.." A voice spoke from somewhere around Sakura and Syaoran. "Hmm... I don't reconize you two.. and I've seen everyone in this world to..." it said and the voice grew dimmer
"What are two children doing here?" It asked in a harsh tone, then got harsher. The voice grew into a high pitched wheel and grinned when it didn't effect the two in front of him, but did effect another person near them
Nanase was about to get up when something pierced her ears drum. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Make it stop!! MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!" She yelled and placed her hands over her ears and fell to the ground. "Make it stop!!!" She screamed in pain
"What are you trying to do?" Syaoran screamed,  he felt sort of weird, screaming at nothing, or nothing he could see at least.
"Sakura-chan!" Tomoyo began to run after them, but Eriol gripped her arm before she could follow.
"Don't"
"But, but...In the old days I always was with Sakura-chan and Li-kun. I'm worried about them."
Eriol tried to look calm, but he couldn't help but get a worried expression. "I--I'm sure they'll be..."he sighed,"We just have to trust that they'll bring Kaston-kun back."
Meiling put her hands on her hips."Well, you have magical powers! Why don't you go in there with them?!"
"Because," Eriol said,"This trial isn't for me. Sakura-san and Li-kun are most powerful together, and without the added distraction of me. I don't know what's going on, but they need to do this alone. You forget, Li-san, that Sakura-san has that unbreakable spell."
Tomoyo clasped her hands by her chest,"Everything will be okay, right? Sakura-chan..."
The voice cackled.
/**
"Something, is wrong." Miyuki said, surprisingly calm.
"What's with you? Like Syaoran-kun said, you've got attitude." Meiling frowned. Miyuki gave a deadly stare which casted away Meiling's looks.
**
"Where did you put Kaston?" Syaoran screamed.There was no answer, only the loud breathing once again
The voice laughed and finally stopped with the high pitch, which caused Nanase to pant heavily, the moment she got up however she vanished, only to reappear in that cave
"Sakura?" She asked before something grabbed her around the neck and held her up
"I'll say this once and once only." The voice spoke. "Leave this place, or the girl and her brother, die." it said with a senister laugh
Kaston struggled to get free, and finally broke the chains around his hands, but right when he did that he fell forward and flat on his head, apperently his feet where chained as well and where high enough off the ground where he would fall flat on his head if the chains had been broken. He spun on his heal and was about to go for the chains when the chains vanished, and a portal appeared that began to draw everything in. He grabbed the bar's and held on. "This is NOT my day!" He yelled as he struggled to keep his hold.
Syaoran looked over at Sakura, she seemed close to tears.
"Sakura-hime, are you alright?" Syaoran asked. "Yes, you are a princess, and always will be one to me."
"Eh? Syaoran? What's going on? We have to help Kaston and why is this strange person trying to hurt Nanase-chan?" She said. She noticed that her wand had changed back to normal. She sighed. "What should we do? That weird monster is saying that we should leave or its going to hurt Kaston-kun and Nanase-chan." She looked at Syaoran and he looked alert. "Syaoran!? What are we going to do?" She said softly.
The air around Sakura grew cold, then the cave vanished and was replaced by a cosmos of colors, stars, and other objects
Flowers blossumed and animal's roamed the plains. In the distance a young girl was sitting on the ground, petting a lion, she then got up and looked at Sakura, the girl looked exactly like Sakura at the age of ten. "Kon'nichi-wa" she smiled at Sakura
(ooc: For those who might be confused, this is Princess Sakura i'm RPing right now. Please keep in mind Sakura is mearly day dreaming in reality, but here she is actually talking to Princess Sakura. Babypiggy if you want to you can have Syaoran notice her daydreaming, meh! Princess will do this to every character so keep that in mind ^_^)
Syaoran noticed Sakura's eyes to blank..
"Sakura-chan?" Syaoran looked at her, then held her by the shoulders and slightly shook her.
Sakura saw a girl that looked exactly like her. "Huh? Who are you? Why do you look like me? Where am I?" Sakura felt dazed and didn't understand what was going on. She felt Syaoran's arms shaking her but it seemed like she was in a dream world. "Can you tell me anything about this world!? Why are we here?" Sakura suddenly thought that maybe this was Sakura-hime that everyone had wondered what had happened to her. "Ano.. are you Sakura-hime that everyone is looking for?" But why does she look exactly like me? Sakura asked herself. She soon saw the other Sakura smile and Sakura blinked and found that she was back looking into Syaoran's eyes and his hands were on her shoulders. "Syaoran? What just happened to me?"
"..I.." There was a moment of silence. "Don't really know." Syaoran said, his face plain and expressionless. He felt that feeling again, and he collapsed to the ground.
"Sakura-hime!" A boy with coffee coloured hair yelled.
A girl turned to look at him. "Syaoran-kun!" She smiled and quickly ran up to him. "I've got someting for you!" She smiled and put her hands over his eyes. "No peaking!"
Syaoran slowly lowered his eyelids til it was complete darkness, he heard some ruffling sounds and when his eyes opened, he saw Sakura holding a bunch of flowers. "This is for you!" She laughed and ran off.
**
"You people, are pathetic." Miyuki randomly mumbled.
"What did you say?" Meiling reacted the fastest.
"I said, you people are complete idiots! You have no knowledge of when to try to help. Espeically you." She pointed at Eriol.
Princess Sakura smiled at herself. "Perhaps... bringing her guardians here will help her out.." she said and clasped her hands together, she spoke several enchantation's that split the sky in her dream world
A flutering figure appeared before her, although it was just an image, she smiled. "Kero....." she said to herself. "It's been years since I last saw him... he disappeared suddenly.. along with Yukito when the shattering occured.." she sighed then looked away from the image.
She walked toward the edge of the cliff and looked out, she smiled one last time. "Perhaps they can return my world to what it really is, and safe their own from the same fate." She said and stared back at the picture. "I'm sorry to do this to you, Kero, but Sakura will benefit from your guidance." with that she spread her hands out a vortex appeared
Sakura's original world
The sky split apart as lightning cut through the air, earthquakes shaking and water everywhere, a vortex appeared under what looked like a flying cat (Kero) only to pull him into the world that Sakura herself was in
Syaoran stayed plummished on the ground, not noticing his surroundings.
**
"Watch your tongue, I don't see you doing much helping - Miyuki!" Meiling argued.
"There's nothing I can do. I tried to stop this by encouraging your leave, but noo, people don't want to leave." Miyuki said, whipping one pigtail back.
*Miyuki is dead and i really don't want anyone to treat her as alive, perky or any happy perrsonality traits. Cause i hate those. Perkiness is wayy too freaky for me.*
All the frustration gathering began to eat away at Tomoyo's confidence in Sakura and Syaoran. She watched as Meiling and Miyuki stomped and pouted at one another. This aggression had to stop. She sighed and covered her eyes. "Please stop it..."Tomoyo whispered.
Eriol looked over his shoulder at Tomoyo. She seemed to be close to tears..."KNOCK IT OFF! THE BOTH OF YOU!"He shouted.
Meiling and Miyuki looked up in awe at Eriol for loosing his cool.
Sighing, Eriol's voice went back to it's usual calm tone."Miyuki-san, why don't you tell us exactly what you know, here. Obviously this new world is something very familiar to you. And once again you seem to have another plan in mind." He forced a smile, "Pray tell."
Miyuki sat back where she was and stared at the sky.
"Let things  unfold your way. I want to see how it ends, this time, of the many times." Miyuki said, the sky was grey and the clouds covered the shining sun. Miyuki stepped out of the no longer exisiting shade into the damp, humid  outsiding. "Looks like we've gotta go in." Miyuki mumbled, as a riandrops fell.
Meiling sighed and took it well while stepping into the cave.
"This place..gives me the creeps." Meiling said, rubbing her hands on her arms.
"THIS place gives you the creeps? You're adventure hasn't even started." Miyuki said, looking out into the rain.
Tomoyo peered inside the cave. There wasn't any details she could make out, especially with the rain blocking her vision. Sakura-chan and Li-kun are in such a dark place? She thought. Even with the rain leaving more and more dark spots on her clothing, Tomoyo was very hesitant to go inside.
"Heeeey!" Meiling shouted back to them, a slight echo in her voice,"Are you coming or what? Don't leave me alone with this lunatic!"
Tomoyo thought she could hear a slapping sound and then an "OW!"
"We might as well follow," Eriol spoke from behind,"I know I don't have as much magic as Sakura-san does, but...I'll protect you to my best ability, Daidouji-san" He no longer looked at her, but looked into the darkness in front of them. This was another one of those rare times when Tomoyo actually saw a worried expression on his face. The slight frown he held on his face was much more masculine than his usual grin. Without thinking, Tomoyo reached out for his hand. Immediatley, Eriol's face switched to plain surprise.
"Da...Daidouji-san?!"
"Hurry up, guys!" the echo of Meiling called out.
Eriol gripped Tomoyo's hand back."Come on. We have to run to catch up!"
The two dashed into the cave, hand-in-hand.
Miyuki seemed to vaguely follow. She stopped and smiled a thin, eerie smile.
"Miyuki.." Something called. "It's your time. It's come." Miyuki still continued to smile, without a single word.
Nanase hung there for a few and looked at the thing behind her, although she could barely see it, she knew something was there the being itself just stood there and waited for the two kids in front of him to make some sort of move
"So, you just going to stand there?" The voice spoke to them. "Or do I kill this girl and you two as well?"
"Don't hurt Sakura. What do you want?" Syaoran said, his voice strong.
The being smiled, albiet it couldn't be seen.
"Leave this world, and don't come back." it said and tightened it's grip on Nanase. "Although, I get to keep the girl, her blood is rich with magical energys that'll keep me alive for centurys." it said and laughed mischiviously
Nanase struggled. "Let.. me... go..." she said as she tried to pull the strange tentacle like arm off from around her neck. "If.. you.. kill... me... you'll... be... sorry..." she said in between breaths
"I think not." The voice spoke. "As of right now, your brother should become apart of it at any moment." it said and laughed once more
"Let go of her too!" Syaoran bellowed.
"Let's make a deal, a fair exchange, shall we?" The being's voice grew impatiently happy. Syaoran gave no response.
"Well?"
"What deal?" Syaoran said, calmer.
"If you, and the girl you're with, let me have this girl, I'll leave you two be. But if you want her, you two are the price." He said, breathing loudly. You could hear pleasantness in his voice.
"No. We will not leave her, and I will not give you Sakura!"
The voice sounded annoyed, breathing quite heavily. "What a pity..." it said before two hands appeared seemingly out of thin air. "Then I guess you'll just have to die..." it said and moved both hands toward Sakura and Syaoran
"HEY! Why are you walking so slow, Miyuki?!" Meiling shouted. Tomoyo flinched slightly. Can't Meiling ever use a lower volume to talk? A warm squeeze on her hand distracted Tomoyo's thoughts. Eriol was looking at her passively.
"Are you doing alright?" He asked.
"Yes..."she responded, "It just seems like there's something going on here that's..."
"Going to overwhelm us?" Eriol finished her sentence.
"Well, yes."
"Most likely" He shrugged, "But we have strength in numbers. Once we find--"
Eriol stopped. Likewise, Tomoyo copied him. Meiling just frowned. "Hiragizawa-kun, why'd we--" But Eriol held up a hand to signal her to be silent.
There were sounds, warped at first, then more clear: "...Not leave her.......will not give you Sakura..."
"That's Li-kun's voice!" Tomoyo squeeked.
"They're close!" Eriol hissed.
((Long time no posts, eh? Come on, guys! Let's keep going!))
