Title: Icon Contest
Post by: Okamirei on January 07 2006, 11:31 am: All right, all of you know we have talented and imaginative designers in this forum. So then, I had suggested that capturedwings should hold icon contests. Arigato gozaimasu Little-wolf sama for allowing me to hold and manage the upcoming contests!Â :keke:

The rules are simple: Like the banner contest, each contest will have a theme. The entries must have something that is relevant to the theme.

The first contest theme is: Sakura (CCS and/or TRC)

All entries must be:
-100 x 100 pixels
-GIF, PNG or JPEG format only
-maximum file size up to 40 KB

Common asked questions:
What are icons?
They're the little pictures you put beneath your username.
Can the avatars have text?
Yes, they can. The sky is your limit.Â :keke:

Entries please submit to syaokun[at]earthlink[dot]net with subject as icon contest. Please include your username, onegai shimasu!

Entries will be recieved until Friday, January 13 (20:30 CST)

Winner shall recieve 7 cookies, and participants shall recieve 2.

Be creative! The theme is really general; I'm interested in seeing what all of you will come up with!

I'm brainstorming some ideas about where to put the older contests' icons in the future.

why not create a new sticky thread, under 'Anything goes' and put all the older icons in it?

Good idea.

This won't be a monthly contest for sure, there'll most likely be at least 2 contests each month.
