ohhh....i like both Syaoran...but the CCS one seems to be well not such a 'Softie'....Sakura as I said CCS sakura is so much better.
Actually i wanna vote spinel...coz i especially luv the episode where he/she/it(haha..) went crazy after eating junk food....that's epsiode 56 of CCS. If you guys haven't seen it, definately should have a watch....so FUNNY. :rotfl:

Sakura and Syaoran fan here! :inlove:. Sakura in TRC seems more shy, while Syaoran is more open :happy4:, plus TRC is different from CCS, so probably CLAMP had to change their personalities a bit XD, but I'll always love S+S from CCS :tongue:

I like Sakura and Touya.
Sakura because, well, she's just WAY too cute. I love her personality, especially. And the way she goes "HHOOOEEE" and "hanyaa" is just so adorable...*huggles* ^_^
And Touya, because he's a really important character in the series. What happened to him was really sad though... he made the biggest sacrifice all series long. (Which I'm not going to reveal, lest I spoil it to others)

My favorite character in CCS is Yue. He's very handsome and he's always been my favorite (my second favorite being Sakura's dad =p). I like Yue because he's somewhat mysterious and he's a pretty strong fighter.

Meilin isn't anywhere on this poll and she's my fav! ;.; I always thought her obsession over Shaoran was funny and her backstory is really sweet, too! Everything about her was very sad in the "Sakura's Most Precious Friend" episode, and I thought it was sweet how she tried to hook Sakura up with Shaoran in the Sealed Card movie even after she was dumped. That shows that despite all the rivalaries they've had they're still true friends! Plus, I think she and Tomoyo would make a very sweet couple and she knows karate, too! How can anyone not like her? My second fav is Yamazaki. His lies were always so funny and I thought it was cute whenever Chiharu would drag him away.

Expcet for the principal at Tomoeda Elementary! He's always lurking behind the scenes, waiting to catch Sakura and her friends doing something bad! And he steals Mizuki-sensei's hiding places that she uses to spie on Sakura and Shaoran! So, the principal is the real bad guy! After all, he makes kids stay after school for detention if they forget to do their summer homework!

I love Syaoran - beneath that cold exterior lurks a heart of gold! But you can't forget about Yue! He's not on the poll up there, unless you count Yukito - but he's nothing like Yukito!

Shaoran is my fav but he's also my fav male anime character. He's a tough guy with a soft chewy center. His best friends are girls but he's not at all girly. It take a real man to hang out with girls all the time. Most men aren't strong enough to handle it. :DHe's got mad martial arts skills and his swordsmanship is tip top. He's straight-laced but he has a good sense of humor and that's rare. He has a hard time expressing his feeling but he's a guy so that's normal. And actions speak louder than words anyway.So thumb up for Shaoran! :okay:

Kero's cute, but I think most people prefer other characters, because he's quite loud and silly sometimes. I prefer Yue out of all the guardians, because he seems to have a good grip on what's going on around him.

I guess people dont tend to like charcters who are not developed as much in the anime, since they are not the main characters, but since their not the main characters, it doesnt stop people on liking them.
But it seems that they like the main characters more ^^

I voted Sakura and Syaoran. If I had to choose a favorite, it would probably be Sakura because I just like her so much. She's an extremely likeable heroine and really has a personality that can cheer up anyone even on their worst day. I really like Syaoran alot, too, he's kind of my role model as his character progresses towards the end of the series, but he was kind of a jerk at the beginning, although his attitude was somewhat understandable.

I voted for Touya and Yukito as well. Naturally. :keke: Though I would have voted for Yue if he were there - I'm starting to like him more and more. Cold and angsty... my favorite type of character! ^^;;
My other favorites are Sonomi, and Kaho, especially when she's being cute with Touya and kind of "matchmaking" him and Yuki.
And then of course, Sakura and Syaoran are a given, since the whole series is about them. Syaoran's protectiveness of Sakura is great. They're cute enough, its just that I'm always drawn to the more mature or subtle relationships like T/Y. ^___^;;

That isn't neccesairly true, it doesn't mean they had a vital role, it just means that they had more development. For example, I like Chiharu/Yamazaki, and Naoko and Rika, but they dont have a vital role in the series, however, they have enough development to be liked. I wont like a character that is evil, or even a 1 dimensional evil, if its a villian that has many faces and is likable I will, however, if he's just evil, and does have a vital role I wont like him/her, its just the fact the character is so static, you wont enjoy watching him/her because there so predictable. Make sense :)

Well, Syaoran is also cute in his own right as a 10 yeard old boy. He's just plain adorableness. Just saying. CCS characters are SO good, that it's hard to choose.
Usually, I like character with flaws (because people aren't perfect, and is more realistic for me to bond with the said character) and character growth, which is why I go for Syaoran, who made an apparent changed as the series went on, yet still has those quirks (or faults/flaws) from the beginning (hot-tempered, selfish, envious, the "glare", etc.). From a jerk, to the loyal and sweet Syaoran of the end. Even so, he's also very mature for a kid his age and can take care of himself and the ones he treasures. And judging from the little that we see of Syaoran's past, he didn't grew up like normal kids would, and missed out on a lot of things (and Ieran...she seems kind of cold to her son in the movie, or is it me?). Anyway, that's why I love him so much. The kawaiiness is only a plus.
If it wasn't for Syaoran, I'll go for Meiling. How she was some Syaoran clushing-vain-of-existence, that went to a very mature character and even supported the couple after growing up about it . The only moment where CCS made me cry was when she was letting everything out in Tomoyo's lap about her heartbreak. So sad :cry:.
Sakura is the heroine and all, and she's all cute, but I don't go only for cuteness, or depending on the guy, hotness. She's sweet, kind, cute, selfless, strong willed, the most powerful magician in the world at the age of ten (or is it universe now? :sweatdrop: ). The only thing I see wrong is that she's quite dense (that only adds to her, so I won't put it as negative), and that sometimes she cries and doesn't have much confidence. But the fact she grew from that, to a better magical girl, makes her my third fave (even though it was expected due to the genre).
No offense, and sorry, but Tomoyo is just a huge Mary-Sue to me. Don't hate her however. She's not irritating as the rest.

An interesting post, TwilightNight, and you have some points.
Sure, nearly every character in CCS is so likeable it's difficult to choose just one (or two) as your favourite(s), and Shaoran probably is the one who goes through most developement as the series progresses. Some characters are a little too static and perfect, and Tomoyo is one of them, but I wouldn't call her a Mary-Sue - she has her little quirks, that, even though they can't be described as flaws, makes her an original and likeable character, at least to me.
As for Sakura, well, I'm not usually into cuteness, either. I dislike Honda Touru, Tsukino Usagi, Tabby (from .hack//ROOTS) and most of all those cute and happy anime girls. In fact, when I started watching CCS I thought something along the lines of: "Great. A pink, happy-go-lucky, super adorable little girl. I'm so gonna hate her...". A number of episodes later, I had to admit that the kid had stolen my heart.

Not voting since my two choices aren't here :) I love Yue and Clow the most. Either separate or together. Funny that Naoko's in the poll and Clow Reed isn't in it. :/ What the hell, the poor guy gets no love.

I voted for... Sakura & Tomoyo. I'm a sucker for one-sided relationships, and none have ever been done as well as this one. Syaoran and Sakura are good too. =D

Clow Reed is the creator of the cards, and of Kero and Yue, and Sakura's father in a way, and the reason why the whole plot happens in the first place. He's a hell of a lot more important than Naoko.

Yue is kind of like Yukito, so I think it was perceived to be the same person, even though they're different entities. And yeah, I don't really know why Clow Reed isn't in there, he doesn't get much attention at all, but then again, it doesn't bother me, since I voted for Suppi and Nakuru/Ruby Moon. I think they're fun and they're opposing attitudes complement each other.

hm... actually i vote to Tomoyo and the one of the Kuro-card "mirror" on it....but cant see her name on it.... so i vote to sakura......
Tomoyo is the only beautiful...., of cause lah sakura also beautiful .....but i like Tomoyo characteristic more than Sakura...dakara, Tomoyo is always my favorite character...

True, but then again, we barely know anything about Clow, whereas on the other hand we see Naoko almost daily. Storyline importance doesn't always take precedence over number of appearances, but regardless, I still agree with you, Clow Reed should be on the poll.

Wow this is hard! It's so hard to pick just two favorites...I would say Sakura and Syaoran but then Meilin, Kero & Suppi, Toya, and everyone else pops in my head. :cry: There's something about each of the characters that I like but I guess I'll go with Sakura and Syaoran. :sweatdrop: :keke:

I love most of the CCS characters, but Tomoyo and Meilin were my favorites--Tomoyo was cute beyond words and Meilin was one of the funniest characters on the show.

And I don't care what people think about Kero. He might be too loud and a total braggart sometimes, but he's still the best according to me (both in CC & CCS).
I like the others too. CCS characters are all so adorable!
