I've been thinking (everyone: woah! :tongue3:)
We have quite a few fanart threads, and amv threads in the anime/manga forum. What about creating a sub-forum for anime/manga fan creations, like we have for trc. Then We'd be able to find everyone's lovely work more easily. ^^

That way people who fanwork that isn't exactly CCS/TRC can post in those sub forms! ^-^

Well, we have a General Fan-Fiction Forum...which IMO is being vastly underused. Maybe this idea can be added to it, either as part of the ongoing threads or as a sub-forum.

I don't write, If I did I'd use it, But I don't... I do draw however... so I see the Fanart Forum being a better idea.

I say link them both together is the best solution.
Why?
Let's just say I've drawn and written my own comic books in the past and I may be itching to do one more...and what better place to do it than here? :D

I also agree with Arcademan that it would be best if we put it together with the fanfictions forum...

well It Should be put up because there is a General Fan Fiction.
I would of thought the Fan Art would come up before the Fan Fiction anyway.. maybe it's backwards here?

I don't think Spite is a good thing for mods and admins to have with a community.
I asked for a Fanart/Fanfiction forum a LONG time ago and nothing happend.
Then I guess AM asked and he got it straight away. can't say anything seems fair here.

Unfortunately we are a team, while it does look like I do things straight away (which I sometimes do for simple things)
Major decisions I discuss with the other mods and LW (who doesn't get online much, hence why it takes time to make a decision).
There is no 'spite' involved at all.
Oh, and just cause things get knocked back once, doesn't always mean its not forgotten.

the spite was aimed at AM since that is what he said in his post.
besides most the members here are good artists, wo we don't want to them down either :P

The reason I said what I did was that some people expect things to happen overnight or on command. Some things take discussion as SLi pointed out. To me, the more people keep asking for something, the deafer my ears become, just like the kid who keeps begging Mommy for candy.

An update...so as to let you know we haven't forgotten about this. The administration and moderators are discussing this and several other forum ideas and suggestions. We'll let you know what comes of these and as always, any new ideas are welcome. Keep in mind that changes, though they may seem small, does take plan and work. Subtle changes to the site may take many man-hours to do plus we want to be absolutely sure if any new sub-forums and additions will be practical. The last thing that we need is setting up a place here that won't see any use.
The administration and moderators thank you for your patience and your time in this matter :)

I've been gone for quite awhile and it looks like theres a Fanart Sub-forum now neat :D, can't wait to post some of my other fanarts besides CCS :keke:.
