Title: Favorite moment/scene in Tsubasa
Post by: Little Wolf on April 07 2005, 05:11 am: well, so far like I said in another topic, my fave is that moment where Sakura first wakes up and doesn't recognize Syaoran at all and the crying scene of Syaoran afterwards... :cry: It's a sad moment but I like it because it's really touching and all... But I also like the little flashback scenes of S+S when they were still little kids. you know? the ones where Syaoran remembers their childhood experiences. :)

so, what's yours?

I also like several other ones... like the one in Chuynan's [sp?] country, when Sakura looked at Syaoran with something of recognition.. if you could call it that. And when they are in the country of fog, when Sakura tells Syaoran about her memory of the empty chair... I feel so sorry for Syaoran (cries)

I almost cried. guess im too emotional

The puppet scene in the first world with the guy from X/1999 (cant find out who he is because a friend is borrowing my copies), and also both times when Syaoran has the "You'll be holding my hand when I wake up" memories. Now, i only have the first two volumes, so when i read the others I might find some new favorites...

Post by: sainfate on April 10 2005, 04:05 am: I agree little wolf, the scene where Sakura wakes up and doesn't remember Syaoran and when he goes outside in the rain and :cry: although we don't really see it but we know it.... its very powerful !! I also I liked the bit where Kurogane and Fai are talking whilst syaoran is standing in the rain and they are protecting him from the rain with their Kudan...although they knew him for so little time they already shared his pain.... I really hope they'll make it a really good scene in the anime too.

Post by: Espo on April 11 2005, 03:41 am: Keep them. The price payed to Yuuko [space time witch] was her relationship with Syaoran in her memories. So, she keeps the new ones. You know why the price was the relationship with Sakura? Because Sakura's need for Mokona was the greatest, but the only thing she had was the clothes on her back. And she valued Syaoran the most, so that is another reason for those set of memories.

Don't you also love the times when Syaoran and the gang's clothihng change? Everytime their clothes change it makes me so happy for some reason. Like the recent clothings change, they all look so kawaii~! lol My other favorite moments are ALL of the ones that involve Sakura and Syaoran together.

Of course, the flashbacks... you can't help but love them... Sakura and Shaoran in chibi form xD (well, actually as kids :P)
Ooh, but some scenes I REALLY liked where
*SPOILERS: from the third or fourth world*
Fai-chan and Sakura got all drunk xD and where meowing around! xD (or actually saying "Nyaa!" soooo kawaiii! xD
And of course, when Mokona had that little 'chat' with Fai... ahhh, I loved it... make my heart break... hints of his fake smile showing... Mokona telling him that nobody would hate him.. that he, as well as the others, were lonely... T-T I just loved it...

Oh, oh... and when Kuro and Fai were going to that "Clover" bar and they were attacked... and Fai got his darts and was looking so SEXY!!! *-* and the talk afterwards... soooooo deep... T-T I love my Fai...

Well, Actually your favorite moment is one of mine as well, I'm a sucker for all the angsty moments too, I think I must have spend minutes just watching the art in the manga, and I also wanted to hugg Syaoran when he saw that Sakura did not recognized him. I also loved that moment because in a way Fai and Kurogane were there to support him. You don't get to understand how important is to Syaoran to have someone who loves him until you find out his story. I had tears in my eyes during that scene, Syaoran crying in the rain (reminded me of Soujiro --RK-- also crying in the rain)

It sorta looked like she was kissing his eye, caused it hurt. I liked that one, too! ^^

I kinda like the funny moments, especially when Mokona tricked Syaoran into panicking over Sakura, when there was nothing to worry about. Lol! He even managed to manipulate Kurogane's voice and made him sound so cute... my friend laughed when she read that part.

And I also loved it when everyone was drunk (except Kurogane, ninjas gotta keep their cool, nya? :tongue:). Syaoran's drunk moment was exceptionally hillarious... it's so rare to see him in that state!

:rotfl: It wasn't even a sword he was aiming - it was a cooking spoon! I remember I was in crying on my compy keyboard with laughter at the end of that chapter. And the next day, he had a hangover, it was so hilarious and kawaii!

As other moments, I was really sad when Sakura first woke up and didn't recognize Syaoran, and when Sakura remembered Syaoran from her past, but then she immediately forgot it. *I was on the verge of crying so badly at those two scenes :cry: Gah, if it weren't for my tearless eyes!!!*

For kawaii scenes my favourites were when Sakura kissed Syaoran's eye and the chapter 75 scene :wink:

Of course I love a lot more scenes than those, but they were the only main ones that came to mind :sweatdrop:

When you look from Sakura's perspective, you can see Syaoran planning, running, getting injured, not giving up, and in the end, defeating and retreiving a feather. Now those are heart-breaking almost-teary-eyed "Go Syaoran!" moments for me ^_~

Oh that reminded me, I also like the scene where Sakura is practicing to drive in one of those contraptions/vechiles, and Syaoran touches her hand and she blushes. I read the chapter awhile ago, it's fairly new, and it was raw as well, so I was just looking at the pictures.

I think it's the most emotional most romantic scene yet. It really captures how much they care for each other and the pain they suffered. It shows the true nature of their hearts and that you can tell right away that they are in love even thought you haven't known the characters.

My most favorite moment in the anime is in episode 7 when this ugly guy destroy the fan from Chun Nyangs mother and she started to cry.
For me that was a very sad moment and it doesn't exist in the Manga...~_~

When I read that I laughed so much I couldn't go to bed! It was SO FUNNY!
Kurogane was hilarious yelling at all of them, and to see Syaoran get goofy on him too was just too much!!

Fai whenever he looks serious, especially after Kurogane says something that lets him know that he knows what's up.

Syaoran, whenever he has that fierce look of determination on his face.

Oh, and Touya with his sword being so cool and taking care of those soldiers that come at the beginning.

I completely agree. Whenever you see that "other side" of Fai its really something different that adds a darkness even to the series itself since he is normally such a bright light, next to Sakura of course.
I really liked it in the manga when Mokona impersonates all of them in "the library country" and pretty much any other time Mokona impersonates Kuro.
Probablly one of my favorites thoguh would be when Syaoran is crying after he comes back from "visiting" Kuro's past. In the manga he seemed so hurt and you could tell he was really stuggeling becuase there was nothign he could do. I cried too.

The first was when Kurogane cut his arm and had Fye drink from it, after turning into a vampire. It's a strange moment, it's not exactly sad, but it's not very happy either. It's just a moment where you can see Kurogane and Fye's relationship on a much deeper level.

Many of my other favourites relate to Fye and Mokona making fun of Kurogane, but I can't really remember and specific one since there are a lot. It's all very amusing.
