Instead of putting this in the Cartoon (not anime) Thread, I thought I'd create a seperate thread for the cartoons created from FOX: The Simpsons, Futurama, King of the Hill, Family Guy and American Dad. Please feel free to post your favorite episodes, scenes and/or favorite quotes from these series :rotfl:

Quotes? Isn't it obvious?
Homer Simpson's...
"D'OH!" :D
I actually watch the simpsons before going to school. Help's get me started on the day!
-
hm, the series is ok. i just hate the simpsons with a passion on the tv here. all we get is reruns upon reruns upon reruns. i know each episode for teh first few seasons off by heart !! they show NO new episodes, so naturally it bored me to death.
but when i see new episode its good ^^
but i'd take Futurama or Family Guy over Simpsons anyday of the week :D

I like Simpsons, but you're right, we need to see the new ones VexNet. I swear we had the same episode two weeks running, once!
I like Futurama a lot too....but I don't really like Family Guy.
-
woo, i havn't seen King of the Hill in AGES, that was a great show. it was simple but it worked, and everytime i see it, it instantly reminds me of Beavis and Butthead cos of teh voices are the same and the animation, Mike Judge i think it is.
and family guy is great, i have the first 3 seasons on dvd and america is getting season 4 aired *so jealous*

Here's a site that has 8 full pages of Homer quotes.
http://www.angelfire.com/comics/pearly/homer/homer-quotes.html
Homer : Kids, Kids! I'm not gonna die! That only happens to bad people!
Bart : What about Abraham Lincoln?
Homer : Err ... He sold poisoned milk to school children.
Marge : Homer!
Homer : Hey, I'm just trying to make it easier on them.

From Family Guy:
Peter: You know what I haven't had in a long time...Big League Chew!!! :D
-

Brian: "You've only got a couple of hours left, If your going to pull a party out of your *** you might want to stand up."

I was raised on the Simpsons. Maggie Simpson is my favorite. I can quote just about every episode. Futurama was great! I loved it a ton. I watch King of the Hill everyday I can. then of course theres family guy. I love the baby Stewy and the dog Brian the most. because the baby is like a reicranated Hilter and Brian reminds me of a drunk Snoopy. Oh and I love the son, I forget his name but his voice is done by Seth Green who is so funny. I've only seen one episode of American dad. so I can't say much about it. but there great.

Last week's ep on Family Guy had a funny line in it. Peter wanted to go on Lois' dad's ship:
"Come on! Let me on your poopdeck so I can be your seaman!"
:D :haha: :rotfl:
-
lol, i actually just recently saw the Family Guy movie "Stewie Griffen : The Untold Story" and oh boy is that funny !!

"I watch TV so much, they all seem to run together now!"
Homicide- Life on the Street. Brought to you by the letter 'M' :D

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) The episode that was set to open "Family Guy's" fall season has been moved back two weeks in deference to those affected by Hurricane Katrina.
The animated FOX series returns with new episodes Sunday (Sept. 11) following its 10-week summer run. The season premiere was scheduled to be an episode called "Perfect Castaway," in which Peter (the voice of series creator Seth MacFarlane) and his pals end up stranded on an island following a storm on their fishing trip.
The episode featured a couple of references to hurricanes, and given the ongoing story of Katrina's devastation, the network decided to hold off on airing it. It's currently scheduled to run Sunday, Sept. 25. In its place this Sunday, FOX will air an episode called "Peter's Got Woods," in which Peter befriends actor James Woods (guest-starring as himself) after having a falling out with Brian the dog.
-
The hurricane episode aired last night on Family Guy. It was okay, nothing too controversial IMO.
BTW, the new episodes of Family Guy and American Dad that started last week will make their debut this Thursday night on [adult swim] at 11:00 pm EDT/PDT (United States).

Family Guy gets another 22 episode order
Not only has Family Guy executive producer David Goodman signed a two-year deal with Fox to produce more shows for the network, the ink has also just dried on a new 22-episode deal for the show. A fifth season of Family Guy is all but a done deal at this point. With Goodman's deal, I wonder if a succesful release of the upcoming Futurama DVD movie will bring it back to life.
-
GOD i love the new episode of family guy when they are all throwin up!!!

-
Not sure...thinking it was either the 3rd or 4th ep of Season 4.

American Dad was also picked up for the entire 2005-2006 season today :)
-
lol, i actually just recently saw the Family Guy movie "Stewie Griffen : The Untold Story" and oh boy is that funny !!

Hehe, one of my favourite shows.

The Sunday Night FOX line-up of new episodes of The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad will return on November 8th, once FOX is finished with a little something called the World Series.
-
American Dad is FINALLY coming onto TV in the UK now!! About Time!!
and Family guy is also going to be played today along with American Dad.
-
The annual Simpson's Treehouse of Horrors will air November 8th, the week after Halloween, which is now the tradition.
-
Well...so far here's my two bits on the new season:
Simpsons - old and tired...its glory days are far behind it.
Family Guy - still funny though the language has gotten way more risque.
American Dad - started slow but this show's getting much better as of late...almost an equal of Family Guy.
New episodes being shown Sunday nights. Family Guy and American Dad new eps shown a week and a half later on Thursday night and Sunday night on [adult swim]

Fox has released a promotional image for "Simpsons Christmas Stories," the Sunday, Dec. 18 episode of The Simpsons.
The episode features a trilogy of Christmas-themed stories.
Here's how Fox describes the episode:
"In 'The First (Annoyed Grunt) * El,' when Reverend Lovejoy's car breaks down en route to Christmas mass, Homer takes over the sermon and delivers his version of the birth of Christ (Bart) to his parents Joseph (Homer) and Mary (Marge).
"'I Saw Grampa Cussing Santa Claus' finds Grampa reminiscing about his daredevil days as a WWII fighter pilot, when he was stranded on an island alongside his gunner, Burns. Grampa recalls mistaking Santa Claus for an enemy aircraft and gunning him down from the sky. Realizing their mistake, Grampa helps Jolly Ol' St. Nick to safety, only to have Burns steal the sleigh and escape the island -- leaving Grampa stranded again.
"The final installment, 'The Nutcracker ... Sweet,' which finds the townspeople of Springfield preparing for Christmas Day, is set to the tune of the famed Nutcracker ballet."

Well...so far here's my two bits on the new season:
Family Guy - still funny though the language has gotten way more risque.
hah, I noticed that too, Although I think that just adds to the comedy of it all :)

Famous Homer Simpson quotes:
"Distracted...what a funny word. Wonder if anyone ever gets 'tracted'?!"
"I swore never to read again after 'To Kill A Mockingbird' gave me no useful advice on killing mockingbirds. It did teach me not to judge a person based on the color of his skin but what good does that do me?"
-
And now...Peter Griffin:
"Oh, my God! Brian! There's a message in my Alpha-Bits. It says 'OOOOO'!"
"Peter, those are Cheerios."
-
FOX is back in showing all-new eps of Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad on Sunday nights...after the Super Bowl
