Title: Tsubasa Cosplay
Post by: Kay Hearts on April 28 2005, 09:13 pm: I "think" thereÂ´s no Tsubasa cosplay thread yet and if the series is as popular as I think it will be with this new anime release then we will see lots more in the future.

That proves that girls can play Syaoran too! ^__^ *plans to cosplay one day*

their eyes do look a little shiny... I think maybe contacts were used to get the light brown eyes as Japanese eyes are usually darker

I think that's a girl. If you check the other photos in the profile, she mentions she's female :)

Doesn't matter. She looks good as Syaoran.

here you go. A very big Tsubasa/XXXholic group, from a Dutch Animeconvention.
The group consists of: Yuuko, Yuuko's helper guy with the glasses (forgot his name), White Mokona, Black Mokona, Sakura-hime, Syaoran, Fai and Kurogane.
The hairstyles look really really bad, but the costumes are nice.

Here's the act that went with it: See, it starts with Syaoran, Kurogane and Fai (and a white Mokona. a girl in a Mokona costume anyway) walking on stage.
"Where is that damn feather?!" Kurogane shouts.
"yes, we should hurry and find it." Fai says.
Suddenly, the lights go out and you hear eerie music. the next second, Yuuko is standing on stage with her little helper and the black Mokona.
"It's Yuuko!" Syaoran says.
"Have you come to take my sword again?!" Kurogane shouted.
"No. I have a confession to make. Remember when i said that you should go on a journey to find the feathers, and travel though dimensions and stuff? Well... I was drunk." Yuuko said.
"So all if it was a lie?"
"Yes. but I know of a way to wake her. Bring her to me!" Syaoran, helper guy and the Mokona run off and return with Sakura, who is unconcious.
"All you have to do is whack her on the head with this club, and she'll wake up." she handed an inflatable club to Syaoran.
"You always have to be the hero don't you?" Kurogane muttered. Syoaran whacked Sakura, and she was all "Syaoran!!!" and hugged him. So then Yuuko demanded to get paid for that information, and Kurogane was all "Nooo! Not my sake! Nooo!" and the Mokona started beating him up to get the bottle of sake he had in his cloak!
Kurogane fainted, and Yuuko was all "Now, you have to go on a journey through dimensions to find the feathers of his memory and- Ah screw it! let's have some sake!" and everyone walked off stage. Except for Fai ofcourse. and Kurogane. Someone in the crowd shouted "Shounen ai!!!"
Fai approached Kurogane and whacked him with the club. a moment of silence.
"You bastard!" Kurogane chased Fai offstage.

(It was SUCH a funny act. Too bad they didn't win anything... I'll post the link to the movie as soon as it's online, okay?)

I'm working on a Syaoran outfit for...well, what ever comes into the northern california area when I have money. :heh: I have shoes, pants and a top, and I think I'll straighten my hair and trim it a bit. I still need a staff and goggles and all that good stuff,and then I'll make a semi-decent-pudgey-girl-syaoran! :sweatdrop:

I LOVE that Fai and Chii, especially the first photo. *squeals* The costumes, the pose and setting, everything.

Where did you find the pictures? I think I've seen these cosplayers before, they're really good! I swear I've seen that Syaoran as Sailor Uranus! (and a very hot one, too) :lol:

Unfortunately I don't know the cosplayers actual site. I just found it on this cosplay site where people upload insane amounts of cosplay pix.

I used turqoiuse satin, and sewed around the edge of the fabric to make them stick out to look like jewels ^^

I didn't take the pics (obviously!) so kudos to the people that did.

Here's an in prog pic I took when I put the first piece of gold on the coat. It had to be re-sewen but I was exceited that I was done with the coat, cape and caplet , boots, gloves, etcand onto the gold ^___^
